I guess I am just curious. What makes her like Alec? What got her to have a crush on him? Is it his physical appearance? I am just wondering what drew her attention to him.

His looks don't hurt, but mostly his leadership and personality.
As for how he finds out, what if they maybe go on a mission together and grow close? Things get revealed, and yeah.

Sure, That sounds good to me.
Maybe he tells her that he does not care who her family is? That her past does not matter to him, only her future? Showing her his softer more understanding side?
I could see their story being very sweet and cute in the end. But slow and intense in the beginning.
