Personality: To put it shortly, Galbatorix is cold, mean, and cares only for himself. However, he can come across as caring enough to achieve what he wants. He is protective of what he deems as his.
History: Everyone knows his history...up until the battle with Eragon. With his dragon dead, Galbatorix was forced to flee, and the boy let him. While in hiding, he came upon a black stone, and knew it was a dragon egg. When it hatched for him, he realized this was his second chance. He named the dragon Boise, and raised it. With it by his side, Galbatorix was able to regain control, and slowly rose back into power. Now, no one can stop him. Or so he thinks.
Family: none besides Roena, his adopted daughter, and Laerithya, his runaway child.
