  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Sunny was beyond worried. At this point she feared for her wife's life. She had failed to get her back, and now what? Mentally, the kitsune was panicking. She didn't want to bring worry onto her patients, but she couldn't help it. She was worried.

Pacing back and forth restlessly, the medic trainee continued to focus her gaze at the ground, nervously, debating on what she should do next.

A steady string of colorful language was heard as two wolf NPCs helped said raging woman into the medic den, each looking to one another anxiously as they gently unloaded their precious but angry cargo before departing without a sound. Groaning, Yuuri attempted to stand to her three good paws without much success, eventually giving up and laying on her stomach. "I am going to tear that lion a fucking new one I swear on my many lives. His ass is grass!" Yuuri continued on, not even taking into consideration where she was and who was in front of her, otherwise her attitude would've changed instantaneously.

  • Her pacing immediately ceased when two NPCs came bursting in, hauling...her wife. Her wife, alive. "Yuuri!" Her gaze widened as she quickly made her way over. "Please, please calm down. I know you want to get revenge on that bastard, and we will. But let me heal you!" Tears pricked at Sunny's eyes and she struggled to fight them.

Yuuri picked her eyes up as she looked upon what was easily the best sight she'd seen in her life. Grinning, she leaned forward and licked Sundance's nose as that was pretty much all she could do with her current lack of mobility. "I'd say you're a sight for sore eyes but quite frankly I am too."

A broken back leg, a broken tail, and many cuts and scrapes and bruises littered the body of the young female. Her body was thin and emaciated from the lack of sustenance provided during her capture. Without it, her immune system took a nose-dive and so did her advanced healing, leaving her vulnerable to infection and injury. Yuuri was grateful her daughter in the Ruins managed to get the offending collar off her neck before she made her way back here by wing and was caught out in the territory by the two wolf NPCs.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Heal first, ask questions later. It was Sunny's tried-and-true motto. And right now, she was going to employ it. She gave a strained smile when Yuuri licked her nose, and the medic trainee knew it would be near impossible to get her into a nest right now. Quickly, the kitsune made her way to the back and got an assortment of herbs: cobwebs, tormentil, sticks, bindweed, goldenrod, honey, and poppy seeds. In addition, she also brought out some prey for her wife to eat. "Now just stay still. You'll be better in no time." And now it was time to begin.

First, she took a stick and some bindweed, moving over to the girl's tail and aligning the stick gently with it. Once she had got it just right, she took the bindweed and wrapped it around the stick to hold it in place.

With the tail now fixed, Sunny could work on the other wounds. Taking the tormentil and goldenrod, she chewed them up together, wincing at the taste, and placed them on Yuuri's cuts and scrapes. Exhaling, the kitsune made her way to the back to grab some elder leaves, planning to improvise and use them for her wife's bruises. She returned chewing the leaves, and when she was at Yuuri's side once more, she placed the poultice in various spots where the kitsune could see bruising.

Sundance moved away once again, but this time she emerged out of the den, returning a few moments later with a fat rabbit. "Eat. I'll go and get you some water." she ordered, moving out of the den once again to get some water. Flying overhead, she was easily able to spot some moss, as well as a water source nearby where she could dunk the moss in. She flew back as fast as her wingbeats would carry her, until she was back at the den once more. "All right, and here's your water. Once you're finished, please lay on your side, hon, okay? Just so I can feel your legs and see if there are any broken bones." Sundance placed the moss in front of Yuuri for her to drink, and the medic trainee would move back to give her some room.

Yuuri winced and let out soft groans as her injuries were poked and prodded at to apply the various medical herbs to help them heal. The catsune lowered herself onto her good side by command of her wife. She hooked a claw into the rabbit and pulled it closer to her, allowing her to consume it in its entirety in record time as well as sucking the moss-ball dry in an instant. She sighed in satisfaction before casting a glance towards her clearly broken leg in slight anxiety.

Her right back leg was twisted at a grotesque angle and was extremely swollen as Soldierside often made her walk on the injured appendage as a punishment which of course only exaggerated the injury further into what it was now. She knew that once her advanced healing kicked in once she was on the mend, it was unlikely the leg would need to be removed; the thought of when she performed Billie's amputation still fresh in her mind and an unnecessary concern dancing about Yuuri's mind.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — She watched as Yuuri ate and drank faster than Sunny could say her own name. "Let me know when you're full. We can talk for a bit, or I can give you some poppy seeds and guide you to an open nest so you can rest. It's up to you." With that being said, and with Yuuri flipped over, she could examine the leg. It looked horribly twisted. Wincing, the kitsune went into the back and grabbed some stinging nettle. "Okay, hold still. Here, you can bite on this if there's pain." She pushed a stick over to her wife for her to bite on before she settled down in front of the leg. Sighing, she grabbed hold of it, making sure to be as gentle as she could, and twisted the leg back to its rightful position. Taking the stinging nettle, she would chew it up, and apply it onto the leg. After that, she would grab another stick and some bindweed, and perform the same thing as she did with her tail: align the stick with her leg, and wrap the bindweed around it.

"Okay...you should be set. I want you to rest in here for a few days, so you can heal and regain energy. Don't walk on the leg, and keep your broken tail erect as best you can." she ordered. "In addition, I'll be bringing you food to fatten you up again, as well as water. Don't starve yourself or I'll have your head." Sundance chuckled.

As Yuuri watched Sundance set her twisted leg, she noticed that there wasn't as much pain as she was expecting; the catsune didn't even reach for the stick placed in front of her. She wasn't sure if this was from adrenaline or something else but either way she was grateful. With some of her strength restored, Yuuri hauled herself to her paws and padded slowly towards her nest that was set up beside Sundance's; it was bigger than the medic's since she was nursing Lumi for awhile and needed to accommodate both felines. Yuuri turned herself to Sunny and let out a chuckle of her own; "Fret not Love, I learned last time." She giggled, though the anorexic thoughts chewed at the back of her mind, she suppressed them...for now.

"What do you wanna talk about Beautiful?" Yuuri inquired, ears perked up in interest.

"Well...mostly about what happened over in the Exiles. Believe me, that lion comes around here, I'll kick his ass right alongside you. But...what happened, exactly?"

Yuuri sighed as she began the long conversation, it wasn't going to be easy; "Well I was in the Ruins, and I decided to step down as a Physician. I don't mind healing, but it's not my passion as it used to be. I was promoted to Warlord of Sabotage and appointed a new Physician. Billie wasn't very happy with this and we had a bit of a falling out. I wasn't in the most sound of mind and I took off to vent my frustrations out on the Exiles. Last I'd been there, there wren't nearly as many active members as this time around and I got caught by the damn lion and he overpowered me. I became his pet, the Exiles punching bag. I was starved for days on end, beaten by anyone and everyone and dragged around by a collar and leash like a kittypet. The Blizzardclan came to my rescue and I used the commotion to make a run for it and made my way back to the Ruins. I spent a couple of days there before a couple of NPC Blizzardclanners found me and brought me back here and the rest you know."

When Yuuri finished, she cast worried eyes onto the kitsune. She hoped there wouldn't be too much yelling, she didn't know if she could handle that right now.

  • Sunny's brain absorbed the story right up, and every single detail, as she continuously nodded. So Yuuri got captured because she vented her frustrations on the enemy group. The medic trainees nine tails bobbed up and down. "I see." she murmured. "Maybe next time, come to me, or Always if you're feeling upset. Taking out your anger on enemies is never a good idea. It can get you killed, or in this case, captured." She kept her tone as light as possible.

Yuuri shrugged but nodded her head; "Yeah I get that." She murmured, glancing over at Sunny as a smirk crept over her maw as an idea to lighten the mood etched its way into her active mind. "Say, you don't know any Japanese do you?"
