    since my school is going on strike and i have the muse why not? honestly just want to plot with some people, had a weird sense of muse these past few days but whenever i post a thread no one really interacts with it for some reason? anyway, i’m basically an advanced role player that will role play just about anything so just ask! anyway thanks for stopping by!

    — Would you care to do an Anubis x Mortal type roleplay with me? I saw you were interested in Egyptian style roleplays and I've been dying to do something with Anubis/Egyptian gods


    I've got a plot in mind for this if you're interested and if not that's totally fine too.

    — Awesome! Basically the plot goes Muse A is a mortal human who is either dead or dying(up to you) and they are visited by Anubis. Anubis explains to them that it is not their time, that they must complete a prophecy before they can truly die. He then goes on to say he is to guide them on their journey (we can come up with whatever it is Muse A needs to do) and when they complete their prophecy, he is to take them to the Underworld.


    Obviously I'm thinking the two form some kind of powerful bond that neither of them saw coming and start to fall in love, but since Anubis is the god of death he is reluctant to actually let this human fall for him as he is afraid to hurt him. Perhaps they could even save each others lives at some point and so Anubis really falls for Muse A, and in turn he tries messing up his quest so he'll have longer with the man he loves.

    — I was thinking we could maybe do the plot from the movie Gods of Egypt if you've ever seen it but with a few twists to make it our own.


    Basically Set, god of the desert, is taking over all of Egypt but he is evil and a tyrant so Horus, god of the air, attempts to stop him only to have his eyes taken from him (his source of power) and Muse A is born around the time of all this happening. He grows up in poverty and has to make the most out of what he has. One day, while just being an adventurous kid, he could find the old temple used to worship Horus and discovers the god who is really not himself anymore since losing his eyes. Muse A tends to him to try and bring him back to 'life' essentially but years pass by of him visiting Horus in secret and hardly anything changes. That's when he's discovered by some of Set's guards who attack and fatally wound him, which then introduces Anubis. He's told everything about the prophecy and how he's the only one who is brave enough to travel the distance to find out where Set hid the eyes of Horus so that he can reset the balance of Egypt and destroy Set once and for all.

    Ooo i’m really digging this idea tbh! regarding my character somehow saving anubis? how could that happen? could our two characters somehow be attacked by soilders that Set sent? maybe someone has an ankh, the Egyptian symbol of life (which i researched, apparently it’s a weakness anubis has; he always unable to harm someone who wears it) and manages to harm anubis or whatever, then my character swoops in and saves the day somehow?


    this is a super choppy idea, im currently running on fumes at the moment lmao
