  • he seemed to blow in with the gossiping winds at his heels, a bringer of something fated to die down at some undetermined point. this wouldn't be his first rodeo in terms of joining a clan. previously, he had attempted entry into a desert dwelling group, however, he couldn't keep up with the cost of membership and thus meandered away from his failure. that brought him up to this point.

    "do you require trials to join?" dripped his silvery tone among the woods's whispers.

  • "Greetings," a cordial tone would come from within the pines, a blue-grey tigress stepping out from the depths of the forest to approach the stranger who had called out. Sloe colored visionaries would sweep way across the foreigner, expression containing faint traces of interest. It was fascinating to her that so many groups had forsaken auto-acceptance policy as of late; to her, there was nothing to be gained from turning away potential allies. Dipping her head, the maltese nightwatcher would answer, "We do not, we will accept anyone. There is an optional ascension test that can be taken to earn the title 'blackheart', but nothing required in order to forge a home here. Are you interested in joining?"

  • smoky himself knew not why he couldn't have been welcomed in right off the bat. all he'd been seeking was a haven to dwindle in before his internal sickness consumed him. thus, the great beast's revelation eased the doubt sticking to the back of his mind. at least here he wouldn't have to prove his decreasing strength. "yeah, joining. that's it." he confirmed, returning the small gesture in his ever frowning way.

  • "Then, welcome to the Shadow Veil." The tigress would conclude with a dip of her head, the rite of passage quite simple, unless he later opted to take on an ascension quest- Though, he seemed not to be too eager to do so, which didn't come as a surprise when she considered the fact that his first words had been to stipulate that such a trial didn't exist. Curiously did she regard his quiet, almost grim, nature. He seemed like a person of few words, and she wondered if he would warm up during his stay there. Silently, she concluded that time would tell. "My name is Amour, I serve as a nightwatcher here- An assistant deputy of sorts. If you need anything, let me know. What is your name?"

  • WINTERDOOMSDAY

    This one had inquired of a trial. They were a pretty open group with an auto acceptance policy, Winter thought. Had this new member come from someone else where auto acceptance policy was not in place? Was he wary of such a place that may cause troubles for him?Winter pondered but did not ask further, joining besides her comrade who had asked for the stranger's name. It seems Amour had taken care of it all so the leader's presence wasn't much needed.

  • A trial? That was a first. Still, this guy was accepted in. Another number to boost the population. "Welcome to Shadow Veil. I'm Soundcheck, also a Nightwatcher here. Might I inquire what your name is?"

    //mobile

  • "thanks. i'm smokerlungs." no fancy display needed. he got along just fine knowing that. these shadow veilers minded him enough to leave him to a bed he'd soon hunt up. "maybe you can help me now. do you know about any vacant dens?" a deserved nap was calling his name and he couldn't possibly block the swaying tug. it's horribly rare for him to not give in to a chance at a dream.

    a nod of greeting broke his temporary stillness, fluttering towards the newly arrived cream cat. being polite couldn't hurt him nor could it injure a growing public opinion that was sure to begin surrounding him.

    "i've said it... would you like an encore?" this he addressed to soundcheck though no real comedy punctuated his neutral tone. then again, when did it ever?

    another cat gained his acknowledging head bob before he focused his sights once more upon finding shelter.

  • WINTERDOOMSDAY

    Smokerlungs. What an interesting name. She wondered briefly if that meant she would need to check in on how his lungs were doing, but pushed the thoughts aside. "Welcome then, Smokerlungs. I am Winterdoomsday, the Shadowkeeper or leader, of Shadow Veil. We live in a stoney ruins so we do have some few empty rooms you can choose from," she answered his question.
