Zarifa felt hesistant about telling her this. "While you were asleep, I spoke to someone. A demon. A demon in your third eye." She said speaking slowly, so Hiraeth process the information more easily. "I think that's why the eye appeared on your forehead. It's not you after all, it's the demon. The eye belongs to the demon." Well, this was rather sad news. "I have some good news however... maybe. I am not sure as I cannot confirm it right now, but if you can control your eye while you are conscious, that means that I can perhaps teach you to harness the power of that demon. The demon I spoke to seemed to have telepathy and telekinesis."

  • ❝ MY PRETTY WEEPER

"A.. demon..?" Was all she could muster up at the moment, her throat feeling as though it had been grasped and squeezed tightly to restrain her from using her vocals. The eye on her forehead continuously blinked, an action she had been doing self consciously. A demon was living on her forehead, is that was her teacher was saying? The blood practically ceased to circulate through her veins, her heart feeling tight within her chest due to fear. Zarifa spoke of using the demon's powers as some sort of happy blessing. Like a miracle sent by Helios and the distanced Eath mother herself; but the ginger felt as though this was far from it. In fact, she wasn't even sure if she wanted to utilize these powers. Wasn't that similar to dabbling in dark magic itself? Still, telepathy and telekinesis were very strong powers, and Hiraeth couldn't help the internal dilemma forming within her mind. She didn't have any more words for Zarifa, left speechless by the news. All she could do now was stare whilst she attempted to come to some sort of conclusion for her next move.

Zarifa only stared at Hira with a soft expression. She knew that this would be horrible news to her apprentice's ears and Hira was already selfloathing, it almost couldn't have been worse. Zarifa layed on the carpet to come leveling with Hira's height and kept her gaze fixed on the other's face. "Hiraeth, it is going to be fine. You can't get rid of the eye by yourself, but you might be able to fight the demon and claim it one day." Zarifa tried to reassure with her lulling voice. "...What if I told you a story of someone who was in your situation before?" Zarifa gulped nervously, straightening herself up again to a seating position. She hesistated very much about telling her this.
