He nodded, then knelt down and motioned for Crystal to come over.
"A certain little someone wanted to make sure you got there safely too." He passed the phone to Crystal.

Crystal giggled, nodding happily. "What's it like there mumma?" She paused, nodding now and again as she listened.

Walden and the other older kids smiled as they watched

"Ok~" She paused, giggling with another nod "I will! Good night mumma~" She looked up, passing the phone back to Sonic.
"Yeah, I will..." He smiled softly, shutting his eyes "I love you too, Ames... good night."
He pressed a button and put the phone down, before picking up Crystal.
"C'mon you, it's bed time"

All of the kids slowly started to get up, that was until they realized Walden was missing

Sonic was already downstairs, making some breakfasts
