APPEARANCE phyrra's elvish heritage is obvious through her appearance, and none should doubt her bloodline. what is typically eye catching about her appearance is the lack of pigment practically everywhere. she has long, yellowish-white hair that reaches about her bellybutton with similarly colored brows and eyelashes to match. her hair has been cut to have blunt bangs, and can typically be found put up into a high ponytail. her skin is smooth and incredibly fair, free of marking or blemishes excluding the tiny and pale freckles that decorate her nose, cheeks, and shoulders. her face is heart shaped, and bears a slim but pointed nose as well as full pink lips that have a rather sharp looking cupid's bow. her ears are leaf-shaped, and slightly larger than normal.

as the difference between male and female elves is almost indistinguishable, excluding genitals for procreation, she carries the trademark elf height, making her taller than even male humans. she stands at about 6'4 or 6'5 with a rectangular body build, her shoulders are a bit broad, and she has very small breasts as well as a rather flat behind. phyrra also carries other characteristics that are typically associated with the elvish, such as gray eyes, ambidexterity, and youthful appearances. she is rather light in weight, but has a forceful attack and is incredibly agile. she typically wears muted, neutral colors.

PERSONALITY like many of her kind, phyrra is shown to be wise and quite formal at first. she speaks well and often displays her intelligence through conversation and subtle deeds. however, the longer one remains with her, the sooner they realize that she may be a bit of an oddity. while outwardly appearing reserved, it quickly becomes apparent that she very much enjoys being the center of attention, though it doesn't appear that she notices herself and would never outwardly admit it if confronted about it. she speaks so that eyes may be on her and revels in compliments and comments of all sorts. she tends to be a bit of a socialite because of her affinity for attention, and does well with strangers and in front of crowds. she seems to enjoy debate and commonly plays the devil's advocate when it comes to talk that could have multiple approaches, especially an unpopular approach. in addition, she also loves outdoing others, and can be unintentionally competitive. while she tends to be rather zealous, she is very resistant to the jealousy and corruption that would otherwise come in relation to such a nature.

her competitive attitude can make the elven woman ambitious, however, she lacks the self-discipline to carry out with many of her aspirations. she tends to be very unfocused in nature, and may not finish what she started. while this applies to the big picture of things, it also applies to smaller aspects of her life such as conversations. it isn't uncommon for her to trail off from her initial thought when speaking, or to completely forget what she was doing and/or saying in the middle of doing so. on top of being unfocused, she also tends to be very intuitive. instead of planning or relying on logic to make decisions, she relies on instincts more than anything. despite being in this world for over a century, wisdom and planning aren't exactly her MO. while she enjoys critical thinking and activities that require critical thinking, she always follows her gut feeling and any initial notion she gets. this can make her reckless and impulsive, as well as a bit stubborn or reluctant to change. however, such a nature isn't necessarily a bad thing. it helps her reflexes quite a bit, and allows her to recognize a poor situation quickly. it helps that she's naturally suspicious, and a quick thinker.

regarding her honesty and honor, she can be somewhat selfish. her slightly ostentatious ways are a heavy influence on this, and having such a high drive for attention can occasionally make her self-absorbed and a bit greedy. she does not think about others before she thinks about herself, and will often do what is in her own best interest with little to no regard for the effects it may have on others. she can even be rather oblivious to other's emotions and current state of mind if it has not been entirely expressed to her. such traits can make her unintentionally unhelpful, though if something has been brought to her attention she does her best to try and repair the damage. because she is oblivious and may be selfish, phyrra is also commonly shown to be inadvertently apathetic. she has a difficult time resonating with another's feelings and emotions as she rarely feels so strongly herself. she struggles to take emotional stances on much of anything and reacts poorly to situations caused by someone else's high-strung feelings. she also does not receive flirtatious advancements very well, especially if she is not blind to the intentions.

not everything about her is negative, though. while she doesn't particularly love doing so, she is a skilled communicator and a fantastic liar. such traits would be helpful in the case that someone should have to go undercover, or talk their way out of things. she seems to have a knack for striking deals and bargains with others. she has a reputation for such trades, where it's been said that she can get you anything you need. such rumors have been embellished, obviously, and she's just good at getting what she wants at an incredibly low price. she's also exhibited incredible bravery that is seemingly unwavering, and two other traits that are held very common in elves: athleticism and a penchant for nature. she's very good with almost all things physical, and absolutely adores the outdoors. she has a particular love for the sea and water.

HISTORY as a silvan elf, phyrra was born and grew up in mirkwood, however she practically grew up on her own.

born in 2907, phyrra of mirkwood was the youngest of four. she was born to airion and nimmeth and she had three elder brothers: adanian, thalion, and locein. they were kind of a reserved family, despite being fairly large, and while raising their children airion and nimmeth chose to keep all four somewhat away from other civilizations, both man and elves alike. by the time phyrra was born, adanian–the eldest–had already left the household to go live and work on his own and was newly wed. so when their parents perished while orc hunting when she was about seven, he was not around to help raise her. locien, the youngest of her brothers and about nineteen, was concerned with their parents' disappearance(as no one was aware what fate had fallen upon the couple) and spent a ridiculous amount of time searching for them. he'd disappear for months at a time only to return for a few days and leave again. he eventually gave up after about a year and a half, but ultimately remained away from home. this left thalion and phyrra to their own devices for the next eight years.

despite becoming thalion's main responsibility, he and phyrra never grew close. he did his best to raise and provide for her until she was old enough and skilled enough to pitch in, but they kept a formal relationship with few words. when she was about ten, he tended to step out more often and would spend the majority of the light hours away from home. to keep herself busy, she read and trained herself to become more knowledgeable. when she was fifteen, her head filled with the idea of adventure, she left thalion. she became known to be a young and adventurous elf who loved stories, especially ones about the sea. she never had the resources to ever go so far, and frequently begged others to tell her stories of it. she fell in love with the idea of it and desperately wanted to sail upon it one day. around seventeen, she was taken under the wing of an older elven fighter and was taught archery, hand-to-hand combat, and swordsmanship. she trained and resided with him for many years before he passed mysteriously and left her heartbroken. after his death, at age thirty she left to return home to the woodland realm.

she became enlisted in thranduil's military for a short amount of time before the battle of five armies. she participated and barely scraped her survival. she remained for a little longer to become a sort of hand-maiden to the royal court, though eventually left for more adventure. she's been wandering for awhile now, and is now informally known as "the trader". she uses her craftiness and way with words to get what she wants as well as what others want. as "the trader" she's been enlisted to help others take what they want. while some the tasks she is given does involve thievery, she takes in subtle and quick ways. despite having left for more adventure, she still primarily works out of mirkwood, typically helping men.

SKILLSET phyrra exhibits great swordsmanship skills, and primarily uses longswords in combat. she also fairs well in hand-to-hand combat. she's most known for being sly and sneaky, and does great with words and persuasion.

WEAPONS she owns the elvish sword of her mentor as well as a bow staff and a small hunting knife for emergencies.
