notice ; i'm quite full with threads right now, but i am more than happy to help you create a plot to use elsewhere, or to plan for the future. i'd still like to plot but i can't handle more threads for now. my apologies
hey there, nice to meet you. i'm shun and i'm looking for pretty much anything. i haven't been on here in forever and in that time my roleplaying style has almost completely changed and my characters and plots don't fit any of the old stuff i used to like.
that being said i'm looking for some new roleplaying / plotting friends! please feel free to post any plots you have or want to start. likewise if you'd like to discuss or alter any of the ones i have posted below please feel free
alrighty so i have literally no standards but here's a little list of what i'm leaning towards at the moment
- i'd prefer if you were pretty eloquent and used proper grammar, but at the same time i understand that it's quality over quantity. so as long as you have a good brain and decent writing skills all will be a okay
- relationship rps are fun but i can't stand sub/dom, yaoi or yuri based relationships. (that being said i do not mean i don't like roleplaying gay relationships!! i really like gxg and bxb (as i am an ultra gay myself..) but yaoi and yuri relationships as seen in anime are usually misinterpreted and not at all like realistic ones..) in other words, i basically just have a problem with unhealthy power dynamics when they are romanticized
- i primarily have male or non binary characters, however i wouldn't mind playing females either
- i really love sci fi, space or magical based universes
- medieval would also be really neat. been playing a lot of skyrim and oblivion recently so something like that would be cool
- the more diverse the better. step outside the box. i don't think i can survive another high school based rp
I. i have a ghost character named eco. here's a link for a bio i did for him a while ago. the image i have for him has changed a little but his backstory and main flaw is still the same.
in a universe where alchemy and magic is present and often common in those who can master it, eco (a struggling ghost) is accidentally summoned by the curious mind x as they had been attempting to summon their (insert person they wanted + relation). but that wasn't x's only mistake.. they had also managed to bind eco to their own soul in the process- making the two strangers inseparable for an indiscernible amount of time. as the ghost tries to compromise his slowly disappearing physical form and x comes closer to finding a 'cure' to their bound situation, what will be the end result of their relationship? and will it all end in a crash?
II. muse A and muse B are two completely different people, one from [ insert location in tamriel ] and the other at the opposite end of the continent in [ insert location in tamriel ]. both however are lured into participating in a game of sorts. a game of killing and hiding. the rules given by a secret dark brotherhood listener were simple- kill all other participating players an win a prize of thousands of gold, as well as fame...
however, will either of them being willing to kill? and what will happen when they meet?
III. a king/queen (or peasant, could go either way) decides that their life as it stands is far to constricting. they need to see the world and meet new people. while deciding how best to go about the issue, they decide that they should disguise their self as someone of a different class. through this big shenanigan they meet someone new, who sees through the ruse but for some reason does not reject them. what could this mean?
IV. (this one is more just a combo of the last two) everyone knows that each individual comes to find out their spirit animal by the age of 10. a brave child may be paired with a wolf, while another (more cunning) discovers his raven. the bond is everlasting and beneficial for most jobs in this universe. however, there are two animals that haven't been chosen in a millennia. that is the [ animal 1 ] and [ animal 2 ]. this pair represents the two kingdoms of the continent, though neither has been present to sort out political and economic issues.. leaving the content as divided as ever- discrimination and unfairness between the two a common sight. but then there was hope. two teens/young adults, who were often outcast for their lack of spiritual display wake to find [ animal 1 ] and [ animal 2 ] by their bedside. they struggle with their newly given titles as leaders, and upon meeting try to determine what's next
V. muse A has been pampered and preened all their life. whichever way they turn they find others bowing at their feet or huge decisions ready to be made at a single flick of their risk. commoners would laugh at this but really.. they were tired- completely losing sanity over the mundane and comfortable life they were leading. plus, they had the misfortune of earning a simple (and not at all royal) animal as a companion. other kings and queens earned horses, tigers- hell- even giant snakes. but they were given a [ insert simple animal. like a squirrel, small bird, etc ]. the belittling or even disappointed looks they received from fellow nobles was the last straw in the whole ordeal. they were going to escape royalty, and they knew just who could help.
muse B was what the royals called a commoner, but their personality was far greater than much of the noble's cowardice. even their spirit animal which was a respectable [ insert rarer, more royal spirit animal ] an overachiever and often charming individual, muse B found that their status mattered little when it came to getting stuff done. with just a little confidence and perseverance, muse B had even gotten to meet muse A as a child! since then they had fallen out of contact. if only they had the status to reach muse A again...
it was their lucky day for the both of them. when muse A finally contacted muse B on a fateful day the two decided upon a compromise. they trade status and places for [ insert determined amount of time ], meeting often so that they can help each other out with fitting in. after all, no one would know if they acted the part and disguised themselves as new to the court and town. it was a perfect plan, not only for their life goals but also just being able to bond again.
VI. a highly respected knight is being forced into an arranged marriage with a princess. but he's been crushing on a servant boy of no status. they try to figure out their relationship, maybe leave the kingdom entirely. (or switch the genders, doesn't really matter) or ya know this could be gxg or bxb if you want.
VII. a time traveler (doing what The Doctor does, maybe) ends up in the distant past or future and is stuck until they can figure out how to leave. They become interested in someone there and are conflicted about leaving the person, which entails not saving others with their powers, or having the person come with but leave their life behind.
VIII. magical properties are found all throughout [ location ]. some brandish the mighty power of metal bending, while others can even read minds. it is a birth given gift the elves say, and they cherish each child's ability in order to help them adapt into elven society. the humans however speak otherwise. they state that these powers are unworldly, and attract the dark forces of the universe. in other words, elves are demon spawn in the flesh. their dispute of truths has been the way of the elf races and humans for as long as history has been recorded. some say the humans take this stance simply because it is something they strive for so desperately- as they are stuck with their minds and hands instead of the supernatural. however, they fail to understand that magic is not for the lighthearted. it requires great will that can easily take over or even destroy a mage that lacks proper training.
this divide in natural order has led many humans and elves to separate their kingdoms, or even create fraternities that plot against the other race in search of control or power. the sad truth is that neither has been able to compromise with the other, and many humans have not even talked to a real elf... instead raised on fantastical stories of their evil abilities and desire to kill. and of course, this fact can also be applied for elf kind as well. humans in elven culture often described as barbaric and animal like- willing to eat babies and smash families with a clean swing of their axes.
within the walls of human society, muse A finds themselves finally reaching a goal they hardly thought possible before. on their own mission as part of a rogue fraternity of assassins, thieves and pirates, muse A is sent to complete a task that will move them out of apprenticeship and into the respected position of a full time member. it's what they've been striving for since childhood, and with it under their belt they may be able to help the ones they love from those dastardly elves, or even bring glory to their homeland. the task? simple. kill a mage that has been found sneaking through human grounds.
this elf however was no evil fiend, but instead also a curious apprentice who simply disobeyed orders and decided to view humans up close for themselves. this is muse B, and they studiously spend their hours meticulously mastering their birth given magic ( [ type of magic ] ) in order to prove themselves for their kingdom.. awfully familiar to muse A's goal, but unfortunately history has pitted the two against each other.
it is when muse A is about to strike down muse B on one of their curious escapades that muse A sees something that wasn't ever mentioned in the valiant tales of good and evil. muse B was [ doing a thing that was actually benefiting the humans, such as sneaking in and helping the poor by disguising their real identity, or simply viewing human civilization calmly etc etc ].. and did not seem elf like at all. muse A is suddenly struck with a dissonance so hard that they must decide how to interpret what they're seeing, and if they can really do the task they were asked to complete. what will become of these two, who's minds are finally exposed to the truth?
IX. when the words god or goddess are even uttered in the medieval period of [ time, location ] you will find hordes of people slowing their actions to listen in on the fearful and glory filled tales of their heroes, and children ceasing their play as they become absorbed in their culture's history. even mighty mortals and adventurers respect the tales as truth and may even pledge their allegiance to their chosen holy power.
what you may not expect when listening to those sacred texts and word of mouth is that many of these bards are gods or goddesses themselves. it all changed back when the human races first began to inhabit the planet of [ name ], their lives created collectively by the [ number of gods/goddesses, would depend on what history you choose ] gods/goddesses who felt that their power should be used what these powerful entities failed to recognize in their plan was that humans took more spiritual power than expected. in following through they actually became mortals themselves, the only sign that they had previously been gods being the appearance of small magical powers ( so something on the weaker side, not to op ) at the age of 15, and a stunning amount of talent in the skill of their past. the spirit of the beings has been passed down through generations until muse A and muse B are the current pawns of the holy beings.
both in search of the reasoning behind their unique abilities, they meet in one of the continent's largest libraries.. scouring the literature and intellectual locals for any lead into why they suddenly woke up one day to find fire or even telepathic powers at their finger tips. upon meeting, muse A and muse B both seem to recognize each other immediately, minds flooded with confusion as to why the other seems so vaguely familiar... like the face of someone who had once infiltrated their dream.
it then that it finally clicks and they find their answers. by finally meeting after several thousands of years these two godly powers come to understand their true identities of their family and more importantly themselves. so now that they are aware of what they once possessed, what will they do? how will they go on as mortals?.. or will they find a way to restore their powers? and where are the rest of their kin?
X. (these next few are pretty vague so i'm open for discussion) the ones who live on the bottom of the ocean finally come to the surface...
XI. a musician can resurrect or kill people with their music. could lead to interesting dynamic between someone who is resurrected and the musician. perhaps helps them to wield their power
XII. a young and inexperienced mage accidentally turns their friend into a human familiar
XIII. A woman or a group of women plot an escape or revolt against a forced marriage or a whole system of forced marriage, could lead to some interesting gxg plotting or even just platonic girl bonding. always a good time, especially if this is set in a medieval era
that's all i have right now so hit me up if you want or chat. whatever floats your boat. thanks for reading c:
