    TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — In a way, Sundance felt a little...cheated on. With Angelbeats spending more time with Always Dead, she felt left out. But it wasn't like she could go and attack the leader of the Rift and confront her. No, she had to keep her emotions in check.


    Taking a deep breath, the kitsune made her way into the throne room, making sure to employ use of that 'baby talk' she had heard an NPC speak about. "Hey...hon? May I speak to you?" Hon? What the hell is hon? Ugh, whatever. Her emerald-green eyes scanned the room, looking for her mate.

    Angelbeats hopped down from her throne, eyes lighting up at the sight of her mate. "Sunny! Yeah, what's up?" She chirped, trotting over to Sundance and giving the sweet-smelling kitsune a lick on the muzzle in the catsune's over-affectionate greeting.

The Physician sighed, and glanced her mate dead in the eyes. "I'm a bit concerned about...you and Always. I know you two are really close, and I can understand that, but..." Her mind flashed to when Angelbeats cheated on her with Dettlaff. How angry she had been. Which was a big mistake, because now she felt even more betrayed. "You don't love each other in...that way, do you?"

    As Angelbeats listened, her heart sank in her chest, the feelings flooding through their bond didn't help much either. She violently shook her head, as if trying to dislodge the thoughts from her own mind. "You have my word that nothing of that nature s happening between Always and I. She's basically my sister, no romantic feelings of any kind between us. She also has a mate, Yuu Baskerville." The catsune explained, thinking back to the pair in question. They were awkward and adorable with each other and Always often asked for relationship advice from the Princess.

"All right...if you say so..." Her voice was hesitant. Always did have a mate, but it was times like these that the kitsune's trust faltered.

    Angelbeats groaned, a frustrated look on her face. ”What do I have to do to prove it to you? Make an eternal blood pact with you?” Actually now that she thought about it, that actually might be a good idea. Sounded sweet and cute enough if in her books, then again, she wasn't of very sound mind so what the hell did she know?
