    @. stormy essence - I plan on posting the thread very soon now that everyone is here and pretty much situated. Like stated before, it's likely we are going to start with them already knowing each other, that way the introductions don't drag along and hold back the main plot [which needs work bc rn i think its just survive??]. Before we actually begin the rp, we could maybe put here some brief statements on how they formed just to get some more feel and backstory.


    We already know that they are going to have met returning to the city and finding it in shambles. They seem to be the only survivors and they then form a group to help better survive. I think the main starting point was that the scavengers would be out, well, scavenging while some people stayed back at their little base - wherever that is. Any other ideas?

    like they've been situated in one place for a while because it's safe or something

    but then a large hoard just kind of comes out of nowhere so they're all running, trying to protect those falling behind

    and put surviving on top of them trying to find a safe place to stay for each night??

    and omf stormy i think cain would probably try wooing her before they are dating/before skylar admits that she feels the same

    like they're both avoiding her but like

    there's flowers on her bag

    or a cute note by her when she wakes up to make her hotheaded self smile

    it'll be so cute omg ;-;

    How about since they think they are alone someone comes and tries to break into their little base and that leaves and opening for the hord to get in and try and snatch them up. Like Ikigai said every one scrambles to help one another and has to find a better base maybe someplace up high so they can look out?


    Also Zane can be the groups little chef of that's cool

    ikigai. OmG the cutest!!!!! they would tbh be so stinkin' cute together once they warm up to each other, like sky only feels gentle and sweet around cain but around others she's still like tough and whatnot.


    also what i was thinking was that we could pick up right after everyone joins the group, like the same day of the outbreak with the emergency alert. like it could be evening or something, but they're like tryna find a place to stay temporarily for the night.

    i would think theyd like consider safe spaces to create a base and stay there for a few and migrate to somewhere safer evantually??? And this cycle repeats. Bc u rlly cant stay in one place during the zombie apocalypse.


    Bc there aren't like any "safe places" only places that are safer, if that makes sense.


    & eventually those safer places wont be as safe anymore and at that point you gotta migrate.

    Ok so we got a few conflicting ideas. First things first, are we starting when they already know each other? Or are we starting at their first meeting? Give me some votes dudes!

    i hate introductions when it comes to these kinds of rps???? But if we feel necassary we can tap into "flashbacks" throughout the rp and we can flesh out how they met more here

    But I think it'd be better if everyone were together in the beginning. Introductions seem to slow rps way down. I've been in threads where introductions took up like a month in real time, and no one had muse for coming plot lines.

    Looks like we're all on the same page then! We will start with them already knowing each other. Ok we can delve into the details of their first meetings later since that is not of too much importance at the moment. What we do need is a main plot. Does anyone have any sort of ideas?


    I know that Wynter is an epidemiologist and Parker went to Vet School [for a bit] so maybe they could become interested and try to use their knowledge and limited supplies to try and concoct a cure? Or at least some sort of vaccine.


    Also we can have them become rivals with another survivalist group that they meet later on maybe. One that is very...aggressive in their ways of getting what they want.
