  • BYE BYE BABY BLUE

how long had he been traveling, again? he wasn't sure, but he did know that it was too long to count. whatever. at least he had found a good place to stay. that is, if he could make it up the stairs. if phantomthief still had his tail, it would have been tucked between his legs in a sign of fear. either way, he didn't, so he was left to stare up at the stairs. he just....went up the stairs, right? was that what he was supposed to do? it kind of made sense, since he'd be heading up there either way. "um..." he was unsure, and it was obvious in how his voice was softer than normal, one paw lifting and his weight evened out as he stood, wondering if he should just wait or head up the stairs.

after a few moments, he decided waiting would be best. surely it wouldn't be long. and even if it was, he could wait. it wouldn't be a big deal, after all.

  • ———— GABRIEL ————

    WITH STARDUST IN MY EYES

ever since he'd started getting better and feeling better, recovering from the trauma he'd gone through throughout his life, gabriel had been out and about a lot more often, going flying out often when he had the chance. the paladin happened to notice someone waiting at the bottom of the stairs as he was flying by and slowed himself down, noting that they were unfamiliar and deciding he should probably greet them and figure out their reason for being here. he tilted down into a dive, pulling up slightly just before landign on the ground and folding his wings against his sides, where they would remain until he used them again. "mind telling me your name and reason for being here?" he inquired of the other, waiting for a response.

    "speech.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Oh, a stranger. Tired but curious, the kitsune would slowly make her way over, a large yawn escaping her maw that was quickly followed up with a tired smile. After all, she didn't want to appear bored.

    "speech"

  • THE IRONY HOWEVER, IS THAT I'M NOT ACTUALLY ANGRY —

The horse sized dragoness was the next to approach, but silently and dull eyes looking the stranger up and down. She naturally takes a seat next to Gabriel and waits for the stranger's response.

    — I'M TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO BE HAPPY, AND THAT IN ITSELF IS A WAR

  • BYE BYE BABY BLUE

Just like he had hoped, it didn't take too long for someone to show up. His faded red eyes widened slightly at the sight of the winged lion, and he backed away, just slightly, to give them some space. Suddenly unsure, he offered a hesitant, sideways smile, before clearing his throat at the question. Get it together, Phantom, it wasn't that hard to answer. "Ah..." Great. Just great. The first word out of his mouth wasn't even a word.

Feeling embarrassed, the canine lowered his head. "I'm Phantomthief, and I was here to stay." Wait, that didn't sound right, either. He needed to stop being intimidated by the lion and just answer the question ike he would normally. "I mean...I am here to stay." There, that would be better, right? An awkward chuckle came from him, and he chuckled, his gaze going to the kitsune. While he hadn't seen many of those, either, he relaxed a bit, not feeling so small. Offering a nod and another smile, he was unsure of what to say until a dragon, of all creatures, walked over, and Phantomthief was left to be on edge once more. He'd be better when he was able to meet the others, but for now he was a bit hesitant.

  • SLOW CINNAMON SUMMER

    clove arcanium / ♀ / tags & information

*:・゚✦ "Then you're welcome to stay with us." the catsune hummed as she joined the group, stepping elegantly down the stairs to meet the newcomer head on. His manner was curious, and it made Clove wonder just why he was so nervous. Perhaps it was the presence of so many creatures that varied in both species and size. Clove herself had been born into a group where the range of individuals around her was vast, but she could understand that those who came from more secluded backgrounds may find it more difficult to adjust.

Still, it seemed Clove and Phantomthief were very similar in size - so hopefully, if had been feeling intimated, he wouldn't be so apprehensive of her.

"Welcome to BlizzardClan. I'm Clove." the paladin introduced sweepingly, not wanting to dwell on the unsure manner of how he presented himself in case it unnerved him further. No, she'd behave as if nothing was amiss. Maybe that would also take the focus off his evident discomfort.

    "Would you like a tour?"

  • Osiris padded forward, flicing an ear slightly as the others gathered around a newcomer. He watched as Phantomthief stepped away from Gabriel. Was he nervous? Certainly if one lion made him nervous, another would do the same. Therefore, Osiris made sure to hang back a bit. "Well, welcome to BlizzardClan!"
