  • Thick paws trekked across the red land of shifting sands as they brought forth the beast of ash and smoke, fluffy yet unruly fur waving in the cool breeze of the sweltering hot air. An inky stain moving across the rusty landscape splotched with dry greens over the canvas. Each step confident and exact as the brute surged forth without missing a beat and muscles rippling beneath the skin at every movement taken. Pearly whites glinted in the sunlight when they're beared before morphing into a loud yawn, light panting soon to follow as a light pink tongue flapped carelessly in powerful jaws. The temperature causing once proud steps to cease into a casual walk and nostrils flared in attempt to find any water near by. Not necessarily thirsty to the point of dying but dehydration wasn't fun and he wasn't looking to face it any time soon. Large head swiveling from left to right, it lowered to the red sand to prevent the sun from reaching his eyes more than necessary, feeling them sting from the sensitivity of being out in the open. Crimson with blue dropped in the center of the swirling inky depths shifted until it turned into a nice cherry adorned with white, discomfort evident within them. Next time sunglasses or some sort of shade for the ghoul's visionaries had to be provided or taken. Tail waving low as Torikkusutā kept his ambling pace, the dire wolf stopped in front of a small river, taking his time to lap up the refreshing liquid, enjoying the soothing sensation as it crawled down his throat.

  • The heat was less of a bother to the cold-blooded dinosaur, but still enough to be mildly irritating if he stood out in the sun long enough. Once again the baby had escaped from the watchful gaze of Always Dead, wandering out of camp and out into the rough terrain of the desert. As much as he enjoyed camp and his family, the Indoraptor had been quickly developing his own independence and desire to things on his own. Even now as he traced the river's edge, the month old child held a confidant air. It only wavered when he spotted a strange creature- taller than himself- on the other side of the crimson river. The quills on his back and head rose as he took on an offensive stance. Unfamiliar face. Unfamiliar scent. Danger. The word screamed out in his head as he let out a high pitched scream at Torikkusutā. Indo couldn't swim- he didn't know how- so all he could really do was try to look threatening from the other side. Which was rather hard when you were the height of a medium sized dog. He was more threatening when engaged, so unless the wolf had something to console the suspicious child if he dared to cross the water, Indo would attack.

  • The distant sounds of footsteps had caught the demon hybrid's attention and lifted up his head, dropplets falling down his chin and blinked before ghoul eyes widened in surprise. Was that– Is that a dinosaur? Ghoul eyes focused on the scaly creature and huffed in amusement as the smaller shrieked act him followed by, and tried to assume a threatening stance– which wasn't very imposing. Tail swinging as the commandite released a quiet chuckle, he took this moment to think over the situation. It couldn't get him and if he crossed then it would immediately attack from the clear offense stance. The gears turned in Torikkusutā's mind, wanting to get closer with out getting ripped apart or badly mauled. A thoughtful hum vibrated in the beast's chest as his head looked left then right and flared his nostrils, perking up at the scent of prey nearby. It all clicked. If he brought this little fella some food then he would be too focused on the meat to chomp down on him. Can Kusutā have himself a mental pat on the back, backing up and trotting along the river then veered off to the smell of future success and dino moments. The direwolf's brushed against sand and grass as he crawled along, attention on the buck up ahead and continued to creep forth, body tensing up. Haunches wiggled once he got close enough, not daring to get closer in case it alerted his presence and briefly glanced back to see the Indoraptor in the distance. Then he snapped forward before launching himself in the direction of the now running buck. The thrill of the hunt pumping through his veins as he chased after the buck and pounced, claws sinking into the rear and brought them both down, actions swift as he lunged at the neck and crushed it between powerful jaws. The struggles of the herbivore ceased within seconds and satisfaction bloomed in his chest.

Torikkusutā laid there for awhile, panting hard as the heat seeped into his bones, jumping up as he remembered why he had killed this buck. Jaws clamped down on the neck once more, back scarcely touching the shrubs, grass, and sand as he carried to back to the right, dropping in at soon as he arrived at the river once again with a paw planted on it. "I'm coming over with this– food, okay?" It dawned on him that he actually didn't give thought that the young dinosaur was capable of speak and presumed it couldn't talk. Cheeks burned beneath fur at the thought but pushed it aside as he clutched his prize and trekked through the crimson waters, dropping it off a few inches away from the Indoraptor and pulled himself out, shaking out his fur and nudged it towards the smaller carnivore as an offering. "Yours."
