  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Even with the feline's trauma and lack of sleep she hadn't forgotten Ada's birthday. Though their relationship was a bit broken due to everything that happened, she still felt she should celebrate her a little. After everything the other feline did for her she had to repay her a little.

Ella looked around as she carried her small, woven basket of goods. Each item was handcrafted and thought about carefully. She wanted to make sure she didn't mess up anything. Their relationship was already rocky enough since she had been kidnapped. So, each item was made to kind of represent the things she liked about her.

She let out a soft sigh as she placed the basket down. The crafted objects made of wood were quite sturdy, but she remained careful of the flowers. There were two different types with unique vases to go along with them. One was a gladiolus which, from what she understood, symbolized strength. Another was heather which symbolized beauty. Though she knew it could possibly not be understood, she still wanted to give them to her.

Ella looked around one last time to see if the apprentice was around. Once she was sure, she left her doorstep and began heading towards the medic den.

// adalicia swarovski Here is the thread! The basket doesn't have a note since she didn't want her immediately throwing it away. It is pretty obvious though due to flowers lol

  • Ada hadn't done much for her other birthdays, although 10 was a cool number. She was officially double digits, which she figured would mean full on teenage, if not young adult. She usually just sat at home and baked something, although she'd been completely out of vanilla this time, and she'd had to go find more. Luckily, she was in a fairly good mood on her birthday, and she'd actually bothered to clean herself up and place a little pep back into her step. She was by no means 'better,' but at least today was a good day.

On the way back, she spotted an odd little basket full of various trinkets, some of which were incredibly well made, including some flowers that immediately reminded her of a certain feline she'd shut out, causing her to nearly hit herself. Oh, she'd been stupid doing that to Ella after all she'd been through. Huffing, she plopped the vanilla into the basket and placed the whole thing just inside before heading off to the Medics den.

She stopped just outside, sighing heavily and knocking. "Hey, Ella? You wanna come over and help me bake?" She offered a little loudly, hoping the girl was in there.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ —The feline had already made it over to the medic den by the time she had seen the basket. The entire time she had been walking back though she had been worrying. Had she thrown it away? Did she destroy everything or burn it? She felt terrible because she didn't know if she could repair their relationship. She managed to get her a gift, but breaking a promise was hard to fix. At this point she wasn't sure if she could repair what she broke

At least, until she heard the knock on the door.

Ella's ears perked up as she heard Ada's voice soon after. The tenseness of her body vanished as she heard the younger feline's offer. A soft smile graced her features as she slowly stood up from her moss bed and began heading to the door. As she opened it she noticed the small amount of guilt and anxiety the other had. Though it was barely visible, she could still see it.

"I would love to," she said before carefully walking out of the den and moving beside of her. She didn't care much that she was injured. She was still going to go bake with her. Hopefully she wouldn't end up snapping at her again.

// I love their friendship so much. Like, my goodness

  • She almost knocked again. The grey feline stood for a moment, tapping her paws together in waiting, her blue optics sweeping to the side at a little kid who was running after a butterfly. Damn, she'd nearly forgotten about butterflies, as funny a that sounded. Last time she chased a butterfly... gosh, what was she now.. 5 months, perhaps? It seemed so long ago now. She'd met Loveletter that day and they'd hit it off, and she thought they had something until the backstabbing bitchy boy went and got a freakin husband. Stupid males.

Suddenly the door opened and Ada turned, giving the older girl a rather sad smile, her eyes softening. At least she wasn't mad. "Alright then, flower-head, let's go before the butter melts in this heat. I left it out by accident." she chuckled, turning and making her way towards her living space.

    ;;sAME sob

  • "What's the occasion?" Canoris asked, catching Adalicia and Ella on their way back to bake. She had heard Ada's offer to Ella and something about butter, so the wolf assumed they were making something. Canoris felt like joining, if only to make sure Ada didn't freak out on Ella again. The newly returned member deserved a bit of lighthearted fun.

Squirrel walked smoothly beside Canoris, sniffing the air with wide nostrils to try and smell a hint of an answer, but considering nothing had been mixed yet, he couldn't.

  • THE IRONY HOWEVER, IS THAT I'M NOT ACTUALLY ANGRY —

Baking? Food? What? The dragoness approaches with a confused look on her face, not really saying much as her eyes dart around to try and understand what was happening. Seeing that she couldn't find an answer for herself she just takes a seat next to Canoris. Perhaps a bit too close, but that wasn't really registering in her head since she was so dead set on trying to figure out what they're baking for.
