  • “Of course!” She beamed, taking Faye around the castle and showing her what is available to see. A garden in the center of the castle, the library and most of the bed rooms in the west wing, the throne and dining hall in the east.

(Question, how long do you think it should take before both of our characters falling for each other? A few weeks or closer to a few months? I’m asking because I do kinda want to start developing their romance but it won’t be right to immediately start in the point of the timeline of the plot.)

  • (Yes we can just do the time skip now)

Faye had awakened another morning. She had been in the kingdom for a few weeks to a month now and had gotten used to life here already. She got herself ready and then made her way.

  • Faye had made her way into the dining room as well and took her usual seat. She spotted Zyrsu and gave him a polite nod. “Well, you’re looking bright-eyes and bushy-tailed for once.”

  • “I don’t have a bushy tail.” He mumbled, pouting a bit. It took him a moment that she was being metaphorical and not literal. “Sorry... guess you meant that I actually look alive huh...?”

  • She laughed at bit with him for the first time. “Yes...that’s what I meant.” She said as she started eating. “So...um...how are things going?” She asked.

  • “It’s a long process.” He sighs, nibbling on a piece of bacon. “I’m trying to reach out to potential human allies that can support the cause to prove to the rest of the world that we’re not monsters we’re made out to be.”

  • “I didn’t say it was.” He hummed. “But I can’t just sit by and do nothing. I rather end things peacefully but my options are starting to run out. I don’t know how much longer it’ll be before the pacifist options are no longer effective. I have no hate for humans as I know there are kind ones like you.”

  • Her frown faded after he made that comment. “You think I’m kind?” She asked. She guessed he wasn’t so cold-hearted after all....maybe Kari was right. She should give him a chance and continue to hear him out, maybe even help him as well.

  • She smiled at him. “Well, that’s nice to know. She sounds like she was a wonderful woman.” She stood up from the table as she said so since she was finished.
