She nodded. “Right. I forgot...he attacked you a bit.” She replied, helping him over to the castle.

He held an arm around her shoulders, limping back inside now that the battle is won. “Thank you Faye.”
-
She smiled at him as they went inside. “No need to thank me love.” She set him down in the infirmary for him to receive care.
-
The castle doctor began treating the wounds on the soon to be king. Zy somehow was able to hold onto her hand during this. “So... I’ll officially be king in a couple of days. We could starting setting the stage for you to become queen of your kingdom and set an official peace treaty between our kingdoms. You think we should properly unite our kingdoms?”
-
Faye nodded and smiled, squeezing his hand lightly. “It is time to unite. I would want no one else as my king.”
-
“And I don’t want anyone else to be my beautiful queen.” He murmured, offering her a small grin.
-
She leaned down and planted a kiss on his forehead. “Well for now my wonderful king, you need some rest. I’m going to go and check up on my father....”
-
“Alright. But please take someone with you, just in case?” He asked softly, meeting her gaze.
-
She nodded. “I’ll go see if Kari is around.” She left his side and went back into the main entrance area looking around for her friend.
(Sorry, I have been way too busy lately)
-
(It’s fine. I figured life got in the way and took your attention.)
Kari was returning from outside once everything calmed down. She had to make sure the children were fine before she came back. “Oh! Faye, there you are! Are you alright?”
-
Faye nodded with a smile and hugged her. “I’m fine. I was just helping out with Zy. I actually came to find you so we could deal with my father properly....”
-
The feline maid nodded, hugging her back. “Well, what’s your plan in regards to him?”
-
She sighed. “Well, I need to make him come to terms and realize that fighting is not the way to end things...he needs to know that your people are not as awful as he believes.”
-
“You realize that it’ll be a long and tedious process right? He’s stuck in his mindset and it won’t be easy by any means. I’ll help in any way I can though.”
-
She groaned. “I know....but somehow as his daughter, I have to get through to him....”
-
Kari nods, walking with the soon to be Queen to the dungeons. “I’ll help you the best I can.”
-
Faye led the way and soon they reached the dungeons. The king was tucked away into a corner of his cell, nor merting anyone’s gaze. Looking to the guard’s, Faye asked “Let me in so I can speak with him.”
-
“Yes your highness.” The knight guarding the cell boomed, unlocking the door and allowing the women inside before closing it again to ensure the human king couldn’t escape.
-
The king shot a fierce glare at their entry and struggled to stand up. “You have some nerve showing your face here after your treachery!” He hissed at her.
Faye returned his glare and snapped, “Sounds like you’re speakinf of yourself! Anyways, I haven’t come here to argue, I’ve come to ask you to repent for everything you have done. I have Kari here to witness it.”
-
“Everything you say and do will be recorded for reference.” The feline shifter chirped, giving the two some space but is prepared to pounce if needed.
(Idea, what do you think of Faye trying to introduce her and Zy’s eventual first born to her father only to have a violent reaction to it.)
