Faye nodded. “Ok, let’s go. You’ll need this knife I have to protect yourself once I retrieve a sword.” She said, following her.

With that agreed upon, Kari quickly led her friend to the armory where all of the weapons her held. “Choose whatever suits you best. We have swords of varying weights and strengths.”
-
Faye looked around at the blades and ended up choosing a lighter weight, yet powerful sword to wield. “Alright, let’s go.” She said, handing Kari her knife. She sheathed the sword and began dashing out, making sure to tie up her hair in the process.
-
Kari held the knife, moving it a bit before running after the princess. She doesn’t need to tie up her hair as it is in a short bob right now so it won’t be too much of an issue.

It in the grounds, battle has broken loose. Faye stopped and gasped at just how many were fighting. It was unlike anything she had seen before. Desperately, she began searching for Zy.
-
Unsurprisingly, Zy ended up in a fight against her father. For now he’s still in the form she saw him in last but he may have to shift into his dragon form if he runs out of options. Gritting his teeth, he fought against the king, making sure to defend any innocent bystanders trying to get away.
-
Faye’s eyes widened at the sight. The two men she loved and cared about were fighting against each other!!!! She dashed over to attempt to break them apart. “Stop this!” She screamed.
-
Zy pants as he was pushed back when Faye came in to stop the fight. His body was covered in scratches but nothing too dangerous or fatal. It was thanks to the ability to bring forth his scales onto his body and harden it so the wounds would be lighter. “Faye... what are you doing here?” He whispered, keeping his guard up as he can’t trust the human king to not take advantage of the situation to kill him.
-
“To do the same thing as you are...and to attempt to establish peace!” She hissed. “This is not the way by fighting my father!”
-
“I didn’t start this!” He protested. “What did you expect me to do what he was ready to kill a child simply because they were close enough?”
-
“That’s not what I wanted either! I know he started this, but we have to end it peacefully.” She growled, turning her glare to her father. “How could you?! They have done nothing wrong!”
The kings snarled, “He took you away from me! Now, he ha smanaged to poison your mind and turn you against me and the rest of your kind!”
-
“You’re wrong. She came to the conclusion on her own.” Zy growled softly. “It is you who poisons minds to fit your vision of the world.”
-
The king charged at Zy worth his blade outstretched, but before he could land a blow, Faye stepped in front and unsheathed her sword, clanging with his. “You will not hurt him!”
-
Zy had been ready to stop the blade with his claws when she jumped in. “Thank you...” He whispered once more, adjusting his stance.
-
She gave him a strained nod. Her father managed to push her aside. “I will not fight my own daughter! My fight is with him!” He snarled again.
Faye toppled over to the side, but she immediately sprang to her feet.
-
“I don’t think you have a choice.” Zy growled. “As long as you are trying to kill me, she will jump her of her own accord.”
-
“Oh really? And why would she even want to defend the likes of you?” He sneered.
Faye growled as she climbed to stand in front of Zy again. “Because....I love him father!” She snapped, eyeing fiercely.
-
“You heard her. And I love her back. I doubt you want your own daughter as an enemy.”
-
She gasped and turned to meet his gaze. “You-you do?” She asked, a bit surprised at his outburst.
The king growled. “Hate to break up the sentiments, but there is no way in hell im ever going to allow this to happen! I see...so then if you’re against your own people, you are no longer my daughter then! I shall treat you like them all!” He spat, charging them both.
-
Zy gave her a small nod before jumping in front of her and stopped the blade with his claws. “Shows how much your hatred drives you old man. Now that you’ve threatened her, I’m afraid I can’t allow you to do what you want with my people and especially her.”
