  • Zephria turned to look at Sarazaway. Instead of talking to her, she flashed images through Sarazaway's mind, memories of Zephria. A time when her mother had cuddled her, and the time that her father taught her how to control her powers. She showed the leader, who loved all of the clan members but showed no anger towards wrong-doers. The leader never punished other dragons, and every dragon did as it pleased. Memories of her training with a friend who loved life and never wished to kill, and memories of her younger nest-mate, who loved to fly above the clouds. Tears streamed down Zephria's cheeks. Memories that she could no longer have. She showed herself flying alone, looking for food for the clan, then coming home with arms full of prey to all of her clan bloodied and dead. Her mother was not, though, and she showed herself approaching her dying mother and being told who did this. Anger enveloped her, and then she showed memories of flying, searching for Xershi, and to avenge her clan's deaths. Once she came upon him, and they had fought, but he had let her live and he flew away, while she had nursed her wounds. Tears fell down onto the ground as Zephria closed off the connection and turned away.

  • OOC: so basically Xershi attacked them again, and they all tackled him so he couldn't move, and he told them why he had done that, (read my post on page 4 near the bottom if you want to know the backstory, it has mostly purple on it.) then Zephria, someone from a clan he had destroyed found him, they had a small fight then basically read this page.

  • Sarazaway pulled away in shock,"Oh, you poor dear! I understand. You see, I also lost my clan due to an attack... I managed to save my mother, but not the rest... I too searched for the killer, and I did find him and killed him, but I've always regreted it..."

  • Zephria scrunched her face. "I just-I just want to.... I don't even know what I want to do!" she said, upset. "I want to forgive him, but the memories burn me." She shook her head. "I don't know what to do anymore, I'm so lost. It's like a tunnel that never ends."

Xershi crept closer, anxious at what Zephria was saying. When she finished her sentence, he felt sorry for her. "I-I'm sorry. I didn't mean to bring this upon you," he said. Zephria just nodded, not trusting herself to talk.

  • "Is it ok if she joins us?" Xershi asked Aquila as he strode over to him. "She's a good fighter, you could use a dragon like her in your clan. If she's not completely broken, that is. She didn't give up when she was looking for me, though."

Zephria sighed. "Sorry you had to see that, I just lost my cool, that's all." she said, straightening up. She was not weak, and she would not be shaken. She rebuilt her wall of confidence, and looked at Xershi. She wouldn't show weakness to him again.

  • "Mmmm...." Aquila thought and looked at Areona.
    "What, father?"
"You are responsible for him, Areona, and he is asing if someone may join, it is up to you."
Areona sighed,"Alright, she may join... What rank shall she have?"

  • Xershi shrugged. "Whatever you'd think fit her personality." he said, meeting Zephria's gaze.

Zephria didn't shrink back when Xershi met her eyes. She displayed herself as confident, and strong. She knew he wouldn't be able to see though her wall, and she let him know silently that she was not as weak as her outburst just was. It was only a slip.

  • Xershi nodded. "She should probably know what we've said." Xrshi turned to Zephria in the distance. He flicked his tail motioning to come to them.
"If you'll excuse me," she said to Sarazaway. After she had reached them she said, "What?"
"Did you want to tell her? Or do you want me to?" he murmured to Aquila.

  • "What doesn't matter?" Zephria demanded.
"You can be apart of our clan, if you wish. You're the 1st flyer female." he replied.
Zephria nodded eagerly. "Sure, thanks. What should we do now?" she asked.
"Well, after all the action, I think I'll catch up on some rest." Xershi said, walking away to a nearby cave.

  • "Right, but first I think you shouldd know the basics of your duties. Xershi, as 1st Flyer Male, you are my 2nd in command, Zephria, you are Sarazaway's 2nd in command. You do what we say and you may give your opinion on matters, you are like... An advisor sort of..." he tried to explain.
Areona bumped her father with her wing,"Father, allow them some rest."
"Right, of course, we all need to get some rest, it's been a long morning, we must regain our strength."
Areona and Drado rolled their eyes,"Do you ever just let others do what they are doing without commenting a speech?" they laughed

  • As Xershi curled up in a cave, Zephria looked at the small pile of prey. "I'm going to go hunt, if that's fine. I don't feel too tired. Anyone want to come?" she asked, as she spread her wings.

  • "Yes, Drado and I were planning on going back for more before the attack. We shall come with you." Areona said, spreading her wings as well.
Drado sighed,"Why do you always drag me along with you?" he spread his wings and they took off.
Areona giggled,"Because you're my brother. You have a chance of only being a Flyer soon, so, you should get used to it."
"Ah ha but that's where you're wrong. I'm confident that I'll become the next Head Flight."
"After that incident with an attacker? I highly doubt it."

  • Zephria smiled. "Ah, sibling rivalry, I remember it well, though mine was very young, so instead I competed with my father." Sadness enveloped her face for a split second, then she smiled again. She flew above Areona and Drado, loving the wind on her scales. She did a barrel roll to the right, and looked at the land up ahead.
