    Kace awoke that morning with a yawn ripping apart his jaws. A sigh followed soon after as he pushed himself up to his paws, stretching out his body and popping the joints. Once he finished his stretch he shook out his red and tan colored fur. The Beta stepped out of the den he shared with the Beta female and gazed around the pack. A hum slipped past the brute and he eventually headed off in a random direction. He soon made use of himself by settling down onto his haunches under a tree. He continued to watch the wolves mingle before noticing one in particular disperse from a conversation so he padded over to Kei. “Hello Kei,” he greeted the other, dipping his head in greetings.

    Delta was already awake by the time the others began to awake and rise for the day. He let out a gruff huff before turning and heading off into the woods. The warrior figured he could get some training in by running. So the black and white male took off into a run once he was inside the woods. He enjoyed the feel and sound of his paws thundering against the ground and he feeling of his claws tearing up the dirt underneath them. The wolf became that of a passing blur to others as he rushed passed, well if anyone was currently in the woods around him. He doubted it.

    Omega on the other hand wasn’t one of the lady’s to awaken. He wasn’t particularly a morning person and was usually pretty grumpy for his carefree self. He grumbled and padded it of the den before moving to a tree and flopping down underneath it. The warrior was extra grumpy today, probably waking up on the wrong side of the den this morning.

    Kei had just returned from the patrol with Monroe, Avolan, and Dartanan. It was an interesting patrol but Kei had enjoyed it very much and was looking forward to what else he might do today. Kei jolted in surprise a tad when he heard someone say his name, his head swiveling around to spot Kace, the pack Beta. "Goodness, Kace, you scared me!" he chuckled and fully turned around, sitting down in front of the male and bowing his head in respectful submission. "Evening, sir. It's nice to see you." he said, glancing up at the higher ranking male with kind eyes. For a while now Kei had felt incredible fondness towards Kace but he was struggling to figure out what it meant. Did he view the other as a brother or..something more?

    “Ah no need to be so formal Kei, it makes me feel old when you call me sir,” Kace said with a chuckle. He flicked an ear in amusement, the grin being seen even in his gaze. The wolf had a soft spot for Kei, anyone could see that. The normally grumpy wolf was always much happier around the other, usually being more protective of said wolf. “Do tell me how has your day been?” He asked.

    Kei nodded his head and chuckled in slight embarrassment. "Sorry. Habit." he said and twitched his right ear. "My day? Oh my day has been pretty nice. I got to go out on a patrol with Dartañan and that was absolutely amazing. He's like..a father to me and it was so nice to be able to talk to him." he said. "How about you? Did you have a good day so far?" Kei asked, tilting his head at the male slightly.

    Monroe felt the heat rise to her ears at the compliments, staring up at the large brute, with shy eyes. Dipping her head as he took the deer from her. "Thank you," she mumbled giving him a gentle nuzzle against his cheek in respect. Turning towards the sound of the female's voice Monroe replied to her praise with a gentle wag of Her tail. "When one lives alone, for a while, you learn a few tricks," She replied with a warm smile. "Usually I pick out the slower and injured ones, the one's who live their life and are starting to lag behind." She added with a soft voice, shyly glancing at her. Remembering that she needs to start remembering names. As they entered camp, Monroe twitched her ears. Unsure on what to do now, maybe making friends would be a good idea, she thought.

    Kace nodded, it was intriguing listening to Kei. “It’s been whatever, there hasn’t been much to do today and so I’ve been lounging around bored,” he said with a chuckle. He honestly was bored but the Beta couldn’t complain now since he was talking to Kei and that made things better. “Would you like to go on a walk with me?” He suddenly asked, shyness quickly creeping up on him after the question was spoke. He turned his head and gaze away from Kei, awaiting the response.

    Kei smiled and he nodded, brushing his side against Kace's. "Sure, that sounds nice." he murmured, swishing his tail. "Where do you want to walk to?" he asked, starting toward the entrance to the camp, his eyes warm as he watched Kace. Kei was very happy to be going out on a walk with Kace, especially because of how close they were to each other.

    Hei's ears perked at seeing the deer and tried her best to withhold a bark of excitement, calmly getting to her paws and padding over. She looked at Monroe and Dartanan, bowing her head to both. "Who caught it?" she asked, unable to hold the excitement from her voice. That was one thing that always put the brutish female in a good mood. Food. Her tail wagged with excitement to dig in.

    Kace presses himself against Kei’s side after the other brushed against him. “I’m fine with walking anywhere,” he said with a hum. He followed after Kei, keeping close with the other male. He enjoyed how close the two seemed to walk next to each other, his fault more than anything.

    Kei felt his cheeks heat up a tad as Kace brushed alongside him and he smiled a tad, looking over at the male wolf with tender eyes. "Want to go swimming?" he questioned, giving the male a lick to the muzzle. "I think it'd be fun." he murmured, tail wagging ever so slowly. "If not I'd happily go anywhere you want to go." Kei said, just wanting to be around Kace and have some fun with him. It was nice to have the beta male by his side acting so kindly to him. It made his heart swell.

    Belladonna thought for a second before responding "I will be right back" she said darting off to her lair or thats what she liked to call it at least. She soaked some leaves in honey and grabbed some poppy seeds. Trotting over to the she wolf she sat the seeds in front of her. "Eat these I'm going to wrap your wound in honey leaves it helps it heal fast and keeps bugs and stuff out" she said beginning to wrap the wolfs wound in the leaves. "Now don't get it wet but if you do just come by my den of get me if I'm not there and I will wrap it again. But come to me at least once or twice a day and I will change it out and try not to do anything to make it worse" she spoke softly finishing up. "If the pain doesn't subside I've got a lovely mixture of things I've yet to try on anyone that should help. Thank you" she mumbled the last part out it not being something she said often. "I won't keep you ms future alpha, and by the way i can pick up on your emotions easily by the scents your putting off I'm guessing it has to do with our leader. All I have to say I think you'll do great. And you will complete him very well" she said before running off to refilled her now partially used herbs.


    The old wolf looked out hoping the warriors would return knowing the alpha wanted to be with the female all by himself. So Nolan gave him a little space keeping a good distance way and patrolling the area quickly to make sure it was safe. Dipping his head back he let out a deep bellowing how calling out to the warriors. Since he had nothing to do at them moment he would look them over and make a selection as to whom he would train to take his place.

    Swimming sounded like fun to Kace, it would be a great way to cool off. “That’s fine with me, it’s awful warm out today so it would be a great way to cool off,” the Beta said. He was having a pleasant time, he honestly didn’t expect it. Kace might be friendly but he wasn’t used to having normal conversations since most wolves wanted to only show respect because of his position.

    Hei perked her ears, raising her head. The howl of Nolan peeked her interest. She followed the sound, forgetting her mostly empty stomach and looked at the male, head tilting. She was holding herself high as she approached, bowing her head to Nolan. "While we wait for the others, may I ask why you called?" She asked, sitting down. Not that she was complaining.

    ☼ ☼ ☼ Soleil watched as the Shaman ran off towards to her den most likely to grab some herbs to put on the open flesh wound, she remained standing as her orbs watched the other femme closely but also with pure curiosity. Herbs and healing were a wonder to her after all she had gotten injured so many times in the past and each time she thrived through the injuries thanks to the Shamans and their knowledge of herbs and dealing with wounds, it always fascinated her. She gazed down at the poppy seeds and bent her head down to lap up the seeds, she turned to watch Belladonna and murmured her thanks for helping her out even though she was stubborn Soleil knew when to accept help even though she might not like it she had to remain healthy and strong for the pack. "Of course, thank you again." She bowed her head slightly as a way of showing her thanks as she licked the other she wolfs shoulder in gratitude though her next words made the golden female stiffen as she eyed the white she wolf, her anxiety reared its head once more but she quickly reigned in her fright of having to be something that the pack would look up to and rely on. "Um...thank you Belladonna...I guess I'm just nervous at the prospect of having others look up to me for guidance..." She trailed off as she watched the she wolf run off probably to collect more herbs. With a sigh Soleil turned away and followed Fenris' scent to where he said he would be at, her golden orbs caught a glimpse of the dark brute as she neared him she exhaled softly to calm her nerves as she came up beside her alpha. "Today is rather beautiful, the birds are rather chatty today as well." Her gaze turned to the trees as birds flitted about, their voices bursting from their beaks to fill the air with their majestic songs that she was oh so eager to listen to.


    Dartaňan watched as everyone in the camp began to interact amongst themselves, all seemed well which only made the Head Warrior sigh with relief, he enjoyed seeing everyone in high spirits as he padded over to a shady spot to lay down and rest for a bit though his amber orbs caught onto Belladonna who was trotting off after taking care of Soleil. With curiosity he followed after the Shaman, his large paws sinking into the earth as he caught up to the white she wolf. "Uh hey Belladonna, need help with anything?" The white femme always piqued his interest to no end, he gazed down at the female with a gentleness that glowed in his bright orbs. He was always different when around females, always gentle and reassuring so that they would feel safe with him around or not around. Though he did have to admit that he enjoyed the presence of females over males maybe it was because he felt like he was doing something that would make Mirea proud. Just the thought of his past mate made him heart stutter and skip a beat as sadness ate at his core. No one knew of what had happened to him except for the past alpha but Fenris' father agreed to keep his first mates death a secret so that no one knew what had happened to break down the proud brute. Would Mirea be proud of him, would she be angry with him, would she want him to be happy and find a mate that he would be able to share his happiness with? As he thought about it he knew that she would be proud of him that she would want him to be happy even if that meant having a second mate that he would surely cherish and hold dear to his heart. He once again glanced down at Belladonna, a small smile decorating his maw.
