  • He was uncharacteristically tense, pacing back and forth and tossing his head about. He's on edge and incredibly pissed off. One of his clanmate had been murdered. And so t far, Three had been able to do squat. "Everybody gather for a meeting." He calls out, before pausing to take a deep breath and gather his thoughts. Genesis perches on his back, black eyes seeming to stare at everything. He waits for people to gather then loses his patience and jumps in. "Okay, there's not much to say. Everyone who holds a position right now is demoted because I haven't seen any of you." That was long overdue, he was aware. "Welcome back to JADE. And CHICAGOCRIMES can step up to Harbinger of whatever the hell she wants. Also, I just want to apologize for how bad I've been slacking. I'm going to try harder." This was his home and he wanted to see it flourish. That wasn't going to happen if he spent all of his time sleeping. "The traditions of this group are going to be changed a bit, and they'll be updated in the guide soon. It's not major changes, just cutting them down because we have a shit ton that we don't use. Though, we will be having a sort of summer garden/pool party with our allies soon. Also, Chica is hosting a bonding session with the spirits so check that out and try to learn something." He pauses here, massive paws curling and digging claws into dirt before continuing. "Alright, so I think pretty much all of you know that some lowlife shithead murdered one of our own. Obviously, that's not okay, so if anyone has any information about who the fuck did this, tell me immediately. If you can find and capture them, you'll receive the honor of cutting them open yourself. And possibly a promotion." He was not typically a violent person, but he wasn't entirely thinking straight. The whole ordeal had him too angry to consider what his morals were. But he did have enough of a conscience to worry about his clanmates. "Also, everyone should make sure to be careful when they leave camp. We don't know if they're still around and if they will attack anyone else. If possible, try to leave camp in pairs or groups. If you're a kid, make sure you're with an adult." He hadn't seen many kids around recently, and for a brief moment wondered where his own - albiet, adopted - kids had gone. Anyway, that wasn't important right at this moment. "Alright, that's all I have to say. Anyone got anything else to add?"

  • ミBURN && from the shadows, chicagocrimes enters, eyes narrowed in bitter lilac. she listens with ears cocked, far too used to the motions of meetings, of clanlife in general, and lips twist into devilish smirk upon her promotion coming to hit ears. "thanks, i'll take back my rank as war." the rise into the system again has been expected, though how she just soared over all the other ranks is a bit of a surprise to her. guess it pays to have friends in high places. kidding! she knows the shepherd isn't like that.

the meeting goes on. talk of the session she has session, cutting back on some traditions, things she's already known. then, they get to.. the attack. chicagocrimes smile falters horribly into a snarl, a thick coil of anger squeezing at her heart as she listens to the details. a reward for the murderer? unnecessary in her opinion, unwanted even, as the only thing chicago cared for was the killer to no longer be in the mortal coil. and she had already succeeded. "actually, i caught up ta the murderer that very night an'.. i am happy ta say he is no longer a threat— ta anyone." there is no need for her to go into the details; her tone of voice conveys just enough for everyone to catch onto what happened.
