About 10 years ago Arlan stumbled upon an abandoned Jedi temple on a scavenging trip. while most of the data in it was mostly unsalvage, he was able to find a few books in which he was able to learn about the Jedi way. He was able to craft a hodge podge, yet functional lightsaber, using a Kyber Crystal that had scavenged long ago without knowing what it was at the time. He now yearns to fight for good and help the rebellion defeat the empire.
