Life can get you down so I just numb the way it feels

I drown it with a drink and out-of-date perscription pills

And all the ones that loved me, they just left me on the shelf

    No farewell...

So before I save someone else...

    I've got to save myself

And before I blame someone else...

    I've got to save myself

    . . .

And before I love someone else...

    I've got to love myself

    ---

Enter Olivia Grace Lancaster, a 18 year old girl born to American parents on the Pacific Island of Samoa.
After growing up around the ocean in Samoa, Grace's parents decided to move her and her two older brothers to Honolulu, Hawaii.
Grace quickly picked up surfing as a past time and within a few years, she was competing against professionals and winning.
As she grew older, she grew more beautiful and confident.
By her 18th birthday, Grace had been invited to a national surfing championship, right there in Honolulu.
Eagerly accepting the challenge, the young girl prepared to blow everyone away.
She had dedicated her heart and sole to surfing and no one was going to take it from her.
But life isn't always what we think it ought to be...
On the day of the performance, it is obvious a storm is coming. Islanders are getting antsy and there are rumors that the competition should be postponed.
But to the surfers, this is out of the question.
Undaunted and unafraid of the unforgiving sea, the competition goes on.
Despite the growing concerns from her parents, Grace goes out on the waves and proceeds to dominate the championship, as expected.
Before she can return to shore, however, the weather makes a turn for the worst and the young girl is lost in the waves.
A day later, once the waves have calmed a bit, a search party finds Grace washed up on the beach.
    She's alive, but...

Will things ever be the same?

Will her once loving and supporting boyfriend accept her now that she's different?

Will Grace be able to love herself in the midst of the hugest challenge of her life?

    Will she ever surf again?

    Plot:

You will be playing Grace's loving and supporting boyfriend. We will begin the morning of the competition.

When the accident happens, your initial character will ultimately leave, Grace, leading to a state of depression for the young character.

That's where your REAL character (i know, i know) comes in and shows her that love is patient, kind, and unjudging.

He shows her that no matter what her physical appearance, she can be loved.

    It's a love story.

    It's a story about recovery.

    Just go with it :)

I know this is all old news, but I thought I'd throw it up there for reference ^_^

Will work on first post now :)

  • olivia grace was sleeping hard when her alarm went off at 6 that morning. on any normal day, she may have groaned, rolled over, and stayed in bed for another ten minutes. today, however, that alarm on her phone went off and she sat up straight like she'd touched a live wire. today was the day. throwing her blankets away, the young girl leapt out of bed and flew to her dresser. slipping into a pair of short white shorts to match the light blue crop top she'd slept in, she began her morning routine. first, she would work out for thirty minutes, preparing herself for the day. after that, her mother and father would probably have breakfast done. some time during breakfast, Collin would probably come over - gah! she loved him - and he could come down to the beach to help her clean her board and get ready for the big competition. the whole day was set. it was going to be perfect.

sure enough, as she was finishing up her workout, olivia smelled the sweet smell of bacon coming from the kitchen. the smell alone made her stomach grumble with desire. pushing through her workout, the young girl stood and ran a hand through her long brown hair, untangling a strand that was tangled in on itself. she still had that morning bedhead charm as she examined herself in the full body mirror. she looked a little sleepy, with her eyelids sitting lax over her sea foam green irises, but she had never been more awake. with one more hand through her hair, she headed out towards the smell of food.

upon reaching the kitchen, olivia was greeted by a warm and welcoming sight. as she'd suspected, the smell of food had woken her brothers as well. michael, the oldest of all of them, had probably been up about as long as she had, gone to jog on the beach. the twins, taylor and matthias would have been more likely to have just woken up. livy was a year older than the twins, just a year out of being ready to start college, herself. she'd easily scored some pretty decent scholarships with her outstanding school work, but it was really her surfing that caught people's attention. that was what was going to get her places in life.

"morning, grace," michael said from where he leaned against the counter. like their father, mike had sandy brown hair and that deep surfer tan. a thin layer of light stubble covered his chiseled jawline, making him irresistible to seemingly every girl in town. their mother often commented that he was the spitting image of their father when she'd met him years before. they could all see it. the only difference was in his eyes; unlike their father's sea green eyes - the same eyes olivia had inherited - michael had startlingly light blue eyes, just like their mother. he was soft-spoken and laid back, but when mike spoke, people listened. "big day ahead." tossing her a fruit from the bowl on the counter, she caught it and smiled gratefully.

"i know, right? it's gonna be so great! can you believe i'm going to be surfing with some of the best in the world?" she knew she was good. she had always known she would be good at surfing, since the first day she'd wiped out. surfing wasn't just a sport or hobby to her. it was her passion... an extension of her soul. without it... she just wouldn't be herself.

turning from the stove, her mother approached the table with a frying pan of sizzling bacon, slowly picking out the pieces and putting them on a plate. the older woman was beautiful and though olivia had inherited much of her father's appearance, she resembled her mother in the face and frame. she was tall and thin, with a sturdy build... like she was made to resist strong winds or pressures. that stubborn will was another trait inherited from her mother. "i don't know about that, liv... a storm's coming in and a pretty nasty one at that. michael said the waves were looking pretty nasty when he went running this morning. i don't think it's a good idea for them to go on with the competition."

pursing her own lips, olivia grace took a bite from her fruit. "it'll be fine, mom. they won't cancel the tournament unless it gets really bad. besides, i've surfed in bad weather before. rough waves are harder to work with, but that's what makes it a challenge. that's what makes it fun." there was no way olivia would back down from this tournament. she'd been waiting her whole life for a moment like this. this was her moment. nothing was going to stop her from living her dream.

OOC: sorry for the wait! i dont really do bio's, but if you would prefer me too, then i gladly will!

living in hawai was kind of the worst. it was almost always scorching with sun rays that came down to try and melt you. if it wasnt the sun, the waves were rough enough to knock even the strongest of swimmers below its helm and the absolute most bothersome thing? there always seemed to be a crab or two waiting idle under the sand, just waiting to be stepped on so it could pinch you. but it was also the best.

most days it was warm, there was no need for a jacket or pants; one could run around naked if they wished. sometimes collin wished he could. like most people here, he went for a run at least once a day and he never returned drenched in sweat but the heat was comfortable, lacking humidity. running about in his birthday suit would top it all. collin was by no means an early riser. rather than hop up at five in the morning, he would often be found dozing, wrapped up in a large blanket until eight or so. and why not? he was out of school and as he wasn't sure what he wanted to be yet, colin wasn't looking into college. not now.

but today collin wasn't lounging in bed. today was the day! he and olivia grace - bless her precious soul- had prepared for this day for weeks. not just him, but he had been there with her for such a long time. he hadn't much knowledge on how to surf, but it wasn't for him; it was olivia grace's thing. collin was fully dressed and on his way to her ouse. it wasn't far so he walked. the run had been skipped this morning because he was much to preoccupied. aside from the tournament, the weatgher was supposed to get awful. if that was the easy way to describe it.

collin didn't dare voice his opinions on this. if he had things his way, he wouldn't even let her go out on that board. but that would be like telling water not to be wet. olivia grace was tough and relentless. once her mind was set she wouldn't be deterred, not even by him. so was it even worth the argument? collin didn't like fussing, not with her, but if dared bring it up, it would be a shit storm. "just keep it to yourself..", he muttered against the breeze. already there was a taste of rain in the air. the sun wasn't even fully out and clouds were dark in the west.

"knock, knock!" rapping on the door, collin poked his head in with a wide smile. bacon seemed to slap him in the face. olivia grace's mother was a marvelous cook. the door came to gentle shut behind him "how goes it?" collin's dark gaze found the twins first but they were looking elsewhere, most likely at the sizzling pan of bacon that his own dark eyes kept traveling too. mike was the next he saw, but he only flashed him a smile of acknowledgement. they had not gotten along when olivia grace had first introduced him to the family and collin still didn't know the reasonging behind it. but the two were okay now. his girlfriend was the next one he saw and boy oh boy was she a sight for sore eyes. one day to be exact.

collin was nuts about her and he had been since the first time he had seen her. memories flooded back but he pushed them aside. there was plenty of time to reminisce. "livy", he greeted with a soft smile and hurried over to her. there was an urge to snatch her up and swing her around into a kiss but collin didn't. he kept things to a minimum in front of her family, mainly out of respect. "nervous yet?" because he sure as hell was.

Olivia was about to sit down at the kitchen island when she heard the front door open. A moment later, a familiar voice called through the house and her heart fluttered with excitement. Turning, she saw the love of her life enter the kitchen before moving across the floor to greet him. Collin Jones had been a major part of her life since Olivia was a freshman in high school. He'd been a little older than her, but he'd noticed her even before she got famous and she'd loved him to pieces ever since. Now, as she made her way to him, she couldn't help but slip her arms over his shoulders, standing up on her tip toes and kissing him sweetly. "Good morning," she said with a grin.

"Olivia Grace, what have I said about PDA in my kitchen?" Her mother's voice was stern, but there was a smile on her face as she turned the oven off and began letting the bacon cool before she could move it to a plate. The twins were snickering nudging each other and seeming to have a full conversation with just their facial expressions. They'd always been pretty okay with Collin. He made Olivia happy and that was enough for them. Mike, on the other hand, had always been weary of the younger boy. Michael had always been slow to trust, but he was closer to Olivia than either of the twins and she had always written off his stand-offish nature around Collin as being an overprotective older brother.

Grinning, Liv turned and pressed her back against Collin's chest, catching her mother's knowing gaze. "Sorry, Mama." Holding his hands in her own, she crossed them around her waist so he was holding her comfortingly. "And to answer your question, no I'm not nervous." Shaking her hair out of her face a bit, she leaned her head back against his shoulder and looked up at him with a smile on her face. "I've been training for months for this competition. I'm ready to go out there and do my best, just like I always do. And with you guys out there supporting me, I know there's nothing for me to worry about." She brought one of his hands up to her lips and kissed his knuckles before untangling herself from his grip and gently tugging him towards the seats at the island.

Finally making her way into her seat at the island, she waited patiently for everyone else to find a place to sit. Matthias and Taylor sat across from her and Michael took the seat to his sister's left. Mrs. Lancaster sat to the right of Collin, having placed the plates of food in the center of the table and leaving an open seat for her husband. Olivia leaned over a bit and nudged Collin with her shoulder, grinning at him sweetly before dodging a plastic grape that'd been launched across the table by one of the twins. Her mother jumped into putting a stop to that but everyone was in pretty good spirits. They were about to go ahead and say grace and eat when the back door opened and an older man made his way in.

"Good morning all," Liv's father said, a warm smile on his kind face. His skin was dark from years of living on different islands in the South Pacific before finally finding his home in Hawaii. He had the same thoughtful demeanor as his oldest son but with an attractive five o'clock, salt and pepper shadow that drove the older ladies around the island nuts. His hands were rough and calloused from years of building and selling surf boards to tourists and natives. His business had been doing well even before Olivia got famous, but now that they were on the brink of a world title, he basically had a revolving door. He was busier than ever and he was doing what he loved. Most importantly, though, he still made time for his family.

Everyone said their greetings and the older man smiled at Collin. "Good morning, son. Nice to see a friendly face around this morning." Liv watched as her mother reached over and grabbed her father's hand, signalling for him to say grace. He chuckled before they all linked hands and he led them in a prayer. "Dear God, thank you for this food and the blessings you give. Be with Olivia and the other surfers as they go out on the water today and watch over them all and bring them home safe. Thank you for Your Son in whose name we pray." The others at the table ended with an Amen and the twins jumped at the chance to be the first with food on their plates. While everyone was digging in to the delicious meal, Olivia gathered a small collection of fruits that would fill her up and give her the provided nutrients without making her sluggish or overly tired. Nothing was getting in the way of her doing her best today, not a thing. Popping a grape in her mouth, she stored it in her cheek and laughed as Matthias jumped into everyone's favorite tale of Taylor wiping out while trying to impress some beach babes. This was one of Olivia's favorite things to do. Everyone she loved was right here together and this was setting out to be one of the best days ever.

    OOC:

"good morning", collin grinned just as she pulled away. he had caught himself snaking his arms around her waist like he would when they were alone, but her mother stopped him in his tracks. he let her go and turned to the older woman, who he had grown incredibly fond of, over the years and gave her a sheepish grin. "sorry, mrs. lancaster.." his gaze found the snickering twins and he almost laughed with them but collin didnt want to earn himself a scolding or an angry look from mike.

collin tangled his fingers together around her slim waist and smile down at her as she spoke. he supported her fully, even from the beginning, but he couldn't fend off the nagging feeling he had in the pit of his stomach. this was not the time nor the place and collin couldnt dampen her spirits with his worries so kept them to himself, nodding as she spoke and smiling when he soft lips kissed his hand. when she let him go, he followed without protest and dropped into the seat he always claimed when he came over. his butt had not begun to warm it when the front door vame opened.

collin was delighted to see olivia's father come through those door and he immediately threw his hand up and smiled. "hey there, mr. lancaster", he greeted politely. he had liked her father from the moment they had met because he was a good man who took care of his family and he seemed to have taken a liking to collin from the beginning. collin had always gone to him if he and olivia had a matter they couldn't solve themselves. collin had even gone to the man to voice his worries over the days competition.

"amen", collin said along with the others before he opened his eyes. amusement flicked across his face as he watches twins get first pick. they were quick and filled there plates easily. he waited until the end before he dug into the bacon and fresh fruits. after years of eating here, collin was still unable to bring himself to fill his plate and gorge out. this wasnt his home and he was feel weird to me eating like he would if he were on his own couch. they might think him a pig. collinunched on some bacon and glanced sideways at his girlfriend, who had gone quiet. she didn't seem worried at all and that worried him. when he tuned back in, collin was lost. he had heard the story but had not been present the day it had happened, though he was unable to recall exactly why he had been there.

Olivia ate slowly so as not to upset her stomach. Her breakfast consisted of grapes and banana slices, as well as a low-fat fruit smoothie. She sat and listened to her family talk amongst themselves, occasionally offering a bit of input into the conversation, herself. They all laughed and ate and had a good time as if no one was worried about the incoming storm that had been the talk of the town for the past week. Liv definitely wasn't annoyed with people for asking if she was nervous, but she was starting to wish the competition was just over already. Once she was on the other side of it, they'd all see that everything was fine.

Popping a grape in her mouth, Olivia felt eyes on her. With the twins still chatting and Michael quietly enjoying his oatmeal, she looked to her right and caught Collin's eyes. As soon as she realized he'd been looking at her, she smiled warmly and reached over to take his hand under the table. "I'm glad you're here," she said, a little quieter so he knew she was only talking to him. She gave his hand a gentle squeeze before letting go and looking down at the remainder of her grapes. She had finished most of her breakfast, save a few grapes now and she was ready to get out of the house for a bit. She would need to wax her board and aside from that, she really just wanted to spend some time with Collin alone.

After a couple more minutes, the young teen decided it was time. Standing, she pushed her chair back under. "May I be excused? Collin and I are going to go down to the beach and check out the water. I still need to wax my board to so we may go to the shack." She glanced at Collin and grinned for a moment before looking back at her parents. The two gave each other a glance of their own before her father nodded and released her. "Thanks!" She stepped away from the island for a moment before speaking again. "I'm going to go up and change out of my pajamas real quick. Don't leave with out me!" Turning from the table, she seemed to float across the floor before disappearing up the stairs.

A few minutes later, Liv came down the stairs again, changed into her day clothes. Wearing a pair of salt-washed blue jean shorts and a translucent white t-shirt that fit like an extra large, she had tied her hair up again so a few unruly strands hung around her face. Under the shirt, she was wearing a cute, multi-colored bikini top that she often wore out. Her slippers were by the door, but other than that, she was ready to go. "Alright, I'm ready when you are, Collin," she said with a pure, bright smile on her face.

    OOC:

collin smiled slightly and squeezed her hand. "theres nowhere else id rather be", he murmured in the same soft tone. and it was true. collin wanted to be wherever she was, doing whatever she was doing for as long as he lived. he kept her gaze for a few seconds before he finally looked away and back to the food. it was good, but he was nervous and not able shovel in even the slightest bit. through the kitchen window, collin could see that the wind had picked up more. leaves were swirling and the palm trees whipped to and fro.

the mention of the shack peaked his interest and a wide grin tipped the ends of his mouth up. the shack was a lovely place indeed. waxing boards wasnt the best thing about it- collin actually did not like the wax because it was tedious and he always messed up. he caught the look that passed between her parents and collin looked away quickly. he suddenly had the feeling he should clear his throat but instead, he reached up and fiddled with the collar of his shirt. "i, uh, wont", collin called up after her as the others resumed eating.

collin looked back up when he heard her footsteps once more. she couldn't try at all and yet, she was still beautiful. he loved the messy hair look and simple clothes, she was actually wearing one of the shirts he liked near on her. olivia grace was absolutely beautiful and if she were dressed in a tattered pillowcase, well she would still be just as stunning. he stood with a nod and dusted his hands off on a napkin before disposing of his leftover food. he laid the plate in the sink and flashed her parents a smile before holding out his hand for her. "maybe you can show me how to wax the board the right way", collin chuckled as his fingers wrapped around the doorknob and he pulled it open.

Olivia took his free hand in her own, waffleing their fingers together and grinning. She pressed up against his arm a bit as he opened the door before calling a quick farewell to her family before disappearing out the door, pulling Collin loosely behind her. Once the door was shut, she turned around and stood up on her tip toes to kiss him again. She loved Collin so much and while her parents could be major buzzkills, Olivia definitely had her own plans for how they would be spending their morning. "I love you." Pulling away from him again, she simply smiled, the sun breaking through the canopy of leaves above and casting little spots of light across her tan skin. Her green eyes sparkled darker than usual with the reflection.

"Come on," she said softly, her voice inviting as she took his hand gently and started leading him slowly into the trees that led to their own private section of beach. So much had happened on this beach and Olivia attributed many happy memories to these waves. While her first surf hadn't been in these waters, this had been were she'd practiced and learned. She'd formed some pretty tight friendships out here and the beach was perfect for the occasional Friday night rager. Her favorite memories of this beach, however, included Collin. A smile came to her face just thinking about it.

As they reached the edge of the treeline where it opened up into the beach, Olivia stared out over the ocean peacefully. The sky out over the water was a bit dark and the water itself was choppier than she'd expected, but out from the shore a ways, were some of the best waves she'd seen in a while. Something pulled at her heart and she almost wished she was out there now. Of course she wouldn't risk surfing on rough water hours before the competition, but she could feel the salt water calling to her and she was dying for the moment she could go back out. Soon.

Turning back to Collin, she smiled, leaning into him and resting her forehead on his chest for a moment. "So you want to help me wax my board, huh?" she asked cheekily, her tone suggestive and teasing. She gently turned her gaze up again to gauge his reaction before smiling and pushing away. "Last one to the shack has to do whatever the other one says. Deal?" Without really waiting for a response, she leaned forward and pecked his nose before tearing out of his unsuspecting grasp and taking off across beach, kicking up sand as she ran, her big shirt billowing around her as she ran. The wind caught the loose strands of her hair as well, sending them flying behind her, out of her face. She felt free and happy and she couldn't help but glance over her shoulder to see if Collin had decided to come after her or not.

    OOC:

"well i love you too", collin murmured against her lips before she pulled away. he stared down at her with a soft amile, watching as the sunlight shown on her face and cast the shadows of dancing leaves across her skin. she truly was beautiful, even more so in the sunlight. he tore his gaze away from her and looked around. from the point of view he had, the day promised to be lovely with warm light and the chirping of birds. but if collin were to turn around, he would see the dark blue and charcoal grey storm brewing just off in the distance.

collin, allowing himself to be led, followed olivia grace, a slightly dumb smile on his face. of all the beaches surrounding this island, this section was by far his favorite. his girlfriend had shown it to him a few months after they got together and every now and then, he would come here on his own, whether it was to swim or just sit and watch the waves, because it was peaceful and he could clear his mind and relax. collin knew the beach would not relax him today.

collin followed her gaze without a word. the water was rough, white-capping long before the waves ever crashed on the shore. it was rough and it even sounded harsher. it didnt give off the same gentle, melodic tone that it normally did. the water was a constant reminder of the coming storm and he just wished the competition would be cancelled, rescheduled for a different day.

"it never crossed my mind", collin grinned as he looked back down on her. the board had just been a not so clever disguise. when she pushed off of him, collin made a feeble attempt to grab her back, but upon hearing her next stream of words, he dropped his arm stood, smiling stupidly as sand rained down on him. what kind of guy would he be if he didnt allow his girlfriend to outrun him? he sure would be a jerk! so collin waited, fully counting to ten before he took off, through his own cloud of sand up behind him. he would run yes, but collin would not make an attempt to catch olivia. his interest was peaked.

As they ran across the beach, the wind whisping around them, the clouds above started to release just a little. No one would be surprised as they were supposed to have some light showers throughout the day before the real rain started to fall and that appeared to be what this was. Olivia Grace let out a happy shout, throwing her arms out to her side as she ran, embracing the water as it fell and washed her skin. While she knew Collin had every intention of letting her win, she also knew she didn't need it as much as he thought she did. She ran a lot with her brothers and while she couldn't beat them in a race on most occasions, she'd give them a run for their money any day.

Still, she slowed down a little to allow Collin to catch up. She had no intention of letting him win, either way, but this way he would know she knew what he was doing. They ran a short distance down the beach before coming up on the small shack where her father had started his business. Once upon a time he'd built boards out here and sold then to the locals or used them himself. Now the shack was used for little more than shelter during storms if one couldn't get back to the house and a place for the family to clean and prepare their boards. It wasn't big, but there was a bathroom and a small area where a small bed had been set up for late nights out. It was the perfect place for some alone time.

Reaching the shack first, by just a hair, she pressed her back against the side of the shack, turning to greet him, an exhilarated smile on her face. The rain picked up a bit more, drenching them so that the crazy strands of her hair now stuck to her cheeks and forehead. The oversized t-shirt clung to her form, doing little for her decency, though her mind wasn't on that. She stared up at Collin lovingly, her green eyes changing colors spectacularly in the changing light. "You caught me," she said breathlessly as he stood close.

  • Collin let out a laugh of his own as soon as he felt the first drop of rain splash imto his cheek. The sun had dipped behind the clouds and the sky was grey, the trees whipping to and fro, the wind whistling through them. The warmth from the sun was gone but he felt no chill. The run was enough to keep his muscles warmed and and wiped his face, his eyes on his girlfriend as she ran. He could have easily outrun her, even going as far as to scoop her up when he passed her, which he had done multiple times, but he didnt.

The rain came harder and Collin caught the faint sound of thunder in the distance. The birds were gone, leaving only the sound of the waves and the trees above. He whistled at her, lips stretching into a wide grin. He caught up to her when she slowed, but only a little. Collin looked ahead to the shack, his breath coming out in hard puffs. There was so many memories he had here, especially with Liv. All of the best included her and her alone, and it made him feel like his smile couldnt get any wider and it seemed as if he had suddenly gotten hotter.

By the time Collin stopped, he was soaked, his shirt clinging to his chest and the dips of his hair dripping down onto his face. He was breathless as his hand came to rest on the wall on either side of Liv. "Caught ya...", he breathed heavily, a soft smile playing on his lips. Collin allowed his eyes to wander down over her, noting how the thin shirt clung to her in all the right places. He was unable.to.resist to urge to kiss her lovingly, almost in a needy way. "So, we're going to wax boards...?", he questioned when he pulled away, one brow raised suggestively. "That's funny because I remember you and I doing that, what, yesterday?" His eyes sparkled with amusement.

Hey! So my computer unfortunately broke yesterday and it's looking like we're not going to be able to get it fixed... I'm going in Monday to see how much it would cost to get a new one, but I'll be on mobile til then! Sorry for the inconvenience and sorry if I'm not super active or if there's a lot of spelling and grammar issues until I get all this worked out!

As he leaned in and kissed her, his hands on either side of her head, Olivia rested both of her hands gently on his sides, holding him close to her even as he pulled away from the kiss. Her chest heaved as her body tried to regain control. Few people knew this, but it was actually even harder to run on sand for long periods of time and even the best runners could get winded after sprinting across a beach. Regardless, Olivia felt alive and happy. She couldn't have been bothered in the slightest by the burning in her lungs.

Her eyes sparkled mischievously as he brought up the boards again. They had, in fact, been out here, just the night before, taking care of any last minute preparations to her board for the competition. "Oh, you know... I just wanted to make sure everything is still okay..." She shook her head a bit in attempt to flick her hair out of her face. Then she looked up at him again, a smile on her face. Resting her head back against the wall of the shack, she let the water run down her neck and soak her shirt further. She noticed as he checked her out, no doubt thinking about the things he'd like to be doing. Four years was a long time to have been together. They weren't strangers to each other's wants and needs and right now, those wants were aligning.

Closing her eyes for a moment, Olivia breathed in through her nose and bit her lip. When she opened them again, they were a bit shaded. "We should go inside... Get out of the rain." She leaned forward and grazed her lips across the side of his lips and down his jaw. The prickliness of his unshaven face was a welcome familiar feeling she'd come to love. Pressing herself against him a little, she stared up into his eyes, trying to read his every thought and response to her actions. Four years is a long time to get to know someone, after all.

  • (( oh no ;u; that's always the worst! I hope you're able to get it fixed!! ))

Collin smiled slightly when he felt her hands grasp his sides. "I think your parents knew that", he chuckled as he thought back to the look that had passed between his girlfriends mother and father, when he had looked away so he wouldnt make eye contact. He remembered bringing Olivia home that previous night and saying how he needed to go home and peel the wax off his fingers and hands.

"We should..", Collin murmured, his lids fluttering at the gentle touch. She never failed to make a pleasant chill spread across his skin and a soft shiver pass through him. "Dont wanna get...cold..." Taking her hands from his sides, collin slipped into the shack where they were shielded from rain. It came down harshly on the top of the shack and he welcomed it. It had been too long since they had been down to the shack do accomplish tasks other than waxing boards or preparing to go out into the water. When Collin let her go, he began peeling his soaked shirt from his skin and went to drape it across the top of the door in the bathroom in hopes it would dry.

He came back to her with a smile and pushed a few strands of wet hair away from her face. "So tell me", Collin said. He lifted a brow, his eyes searching Olivia's face. Of course he knew, in a way, why she had led him here ans Collin knew what he wanted now that they were here. "Why did you make me chase you here, hm?"

Thanks! It's not ideal, but hopefully we'll get everything worked out and figured out come Monday ^_^

Slipping into the small building behind him, Olivia was relieved to get out of the rain and into the dry, warm atmosphere of the shack. The rain battered the shack, producing a calming sound that had lulled Liv to sleep on a few different occasions. She had always loved the rain and she'd always loved this little shack. Another reason she loved it so much, was the history she shared with Collin out here. As the door closed behind them, Olivia followed Collin's example and pulled her shirt over her head, ringing it out over the leak bucket by the door before hanging it up over the table where her board usually rested. Her hair had all but released itself from the messy updo it had been in, but it was so wet now, it hardly mattered.

Olivia closed her eyes and grinned, leaning her cheek into his hand as he brushed her hair away. "Mmm... I don't know..." Her voice was low and a bit labored as she responded to his question. "I figured this was better than the open beach in the rain." She leaned forward and gave him a gentle kiss on the lips. When she pulled back, she looked up into his eyes again, a look of pure adoration sparkling in her green gaze. "Besides... we both know how good this old shack is for getting some alone time..." Again, her hands rested on the waist of his jeans, gently brushing against the bare skin of his hips and back. "And... I thought, we could maybe... do a little more than just... check out the boards..." It wasn't unusual for Olivia to be so forward, but with everything that was hanging in the balance today, she was feeling bolder than usual. She wanted this and she wanted him.

"Collin... Kiss me..." Her grip tightened against his hips for a moment as she looked up at him lovingly. Olivia had never felt this way about anyone else and she loved him dearly. He had been her first and she was dedicated to keeping to him. He'd loved her before she was anything and he'd stuck by her despite the fame she'd come into. He was one of her biggest supporters and when Collin was at her side, there wasn't a thing in this world she couldn't do. He was her rock. He was her anchor. He was her wings. Olivia Grace Lancaster was fully, completely, and wholly in love with Collin Jones.

Sorry if this is a little rambly or doesn't make sense ^_^"

  • (( i had an old one that so buggy, i couldnt even open the internet on it! so last year and went and had a $1500.00 Acer HD Touchscreen laptop financed and it's the BEST investment I've made so far! I have like, three more payments on the thing (^: and don't worry, it made perfect sense! ))

Another laugh sounded into the confines of the shack from Collin. He knew exactly why he was here and he was okay with that. "Cant play dumb with me..", he murmured, his tone darker than it had been before. "I have no intentions of touching a board right now and no... we certainly couldnt just be on the open beach. Mike might see.." The joke was in bad taste but he grinned as she kissed him once more. One thing he had always loved was how bold ans straight to the point Olivia was. It was she who had made that first move on their first time in this very shack. Collin had become even more enthralled with the girl.

Olivia had made the first step in nearly everything that involved him. First, she had outright requested his number, grabbed him and kissed him first, suggested meeting her parents and Olivia had brought him into this shack that first time. She was an intriguing young woman, Collin never knew what to expect and that was how he liked it. He was kept high on his toes, always ready for something new and there was no other way he would have it.

Collin grew hotter when the tips of her fingers brushed his bare skin. She always had him wrapped around her finger, especially at times like these. There was nothing he wouldnt do if she asked. His hands pressed into the small.of Olivia's back when he kissed her. It was hot and passionate, full of desire and he made his wants very clear.

Hopefully I'll be able to find a good one that's less than $1000 ^_^" But we'll see what happens!

Also, I didn't know how to end this so I left it a little open for you to do whatever you will :) Also, if you want to write something more to end this scene and start the next scene after the timeskip, that's fine. If not, I'll work on the first scene after the timeskip tomorrow :) Hope that makes sense, I'm very tired!

Also, I'm babysitting tomorrow so I may be slightly unavailable at times, but he kid's young enough to still need naps so I can probably be on at those times ^_^ Again, who knows? We'll see what happens!

When he joked about her brother catching them, Olivia rolled her eyes. Maybe she would have called him on it some other time, but she decided to let it slide today. Her mood was too high to let a bad joke like that ruin it. Instead, she tipped her head back a little as Collin kissed her, opening her mouth to him and letting out a small moan as his grip tightened around her waist, his fingers pressing into the small of her back. Her own skin was flushed with warmth as he held her close, kissing her with intense passion. It hadn't been long since their last go, but they both were still excited every time.

Slowly, careful to skim her fingers across every inch of his firm and sculpted upper body, Olivia brought her arms up to rest on his shoulders. Her nimble fingers played with his dark hair, brushing through the wet locks. One of her long legs raised to rest around his waist so that other than her right leg, she was allowing him to support her weight. With her leg around him, she flexed it a bit, pulling him closer to her still. She could feel how much he wanted her and it'd be a lie to say her body wasn't reacting in it's own ways. Returning her attention to the kiss, she pressed back with equal hunger and heat, matching each of his movements with a fiery passion of her own.

Breaking away from the kiss for a moment, Olivia's breathing was ragged and her chest rose and fell with every speedy breath. She leaned her head back again and let out a long breath. "I love you so much," she rasped, staring at him intently. He had no idea just how much he meant to her, but she intended to show him through what happened next. Pulling out of his grip a bit, she took his hand into her own, leading him over towards the small bed against the far wall. With her back to the bed, she looked up at him and smiled. This was her happy place... Collin was her happy place. She had confidence that no matter what ever happened, that would never change. With her fingers still intertwined with her own, she brought it up and rested the back of his palm against the flat of her chest so he could feel the beat of her heart and know that she wanted this as much as he did. She would always love him... No matter what.
