Dmitrii smiled back, before unscrewing a water bottle. “Hey, yeah. The storm hit the city, so i got a little wet when getting some medicine for you.” He handed her the bottle and medication. “Take these. They’ll make life suck less, to put it simply.” He chuckled a little, brfore sitting down beside her. “So how are you holding up? Anything hurting or feeling not-so-good?” He checked the rag on her forehead. He frowned, and put some more water on it. “Banette, I thought I told you to check that.” The pokemon mimbled out what was probably an apology. “It’s alright. It was still atleast a little wet.”

Amy blinked at the rapid onset of questions before he busied himself with the rag and she suddenly had pill bottles in her hands. Her mind was still groggy from sleep so the events got jumbled in her head, but she smiled eventaully after the stunned expression faded, "I feel a bit better," She said slowly, "breathing is a bit hard, but it's nothing that won't get better soon," She added quickly. So he wouldn't worry she checked the bottle for the proper dosage before swallowing a few pills. Some weren't covered with plastic so a bit of the taste got on het tongue. Amy doubled over as if she was about to be sick and covered her mouth before slowly sitting back up straight, "I feel better already!" She squeaked with tears in her eyes. She hated medicine... Braixy sniffled before she patted the ghost-type's head. It wasn't Banette's fault he didn't do what Dmitrii wanted anyway.
-
Dmitrii nodded. “That’s good I think?” His eyes widened, and he rushed to Amy once she doubled over. “Are you okay??” Once she popped back up he scooted a back a little once she say back up. He bit his lip worriedly. “If you say so Amy. You don’t really look the part.” He stood up. “Well..” He looked around, trying to figure out something he could do to help. “Are you hungry, or thirsty?” He wiped his sweat from his forhead. “Er, maybe it’s time for you to get out of your sleeping bag. It’s getting even hotter outside and if wouldn’t do you any good to have a heatstroke.”
Banette smiled appreciatively at Braixen’s gesture. Feeling restless, he spun in circles playfully before stopping. It was too hot for this.
-
"Something to drink would be nice," She said as politely as she could manage. Those pills tasted awful and she was afraid to move her hands, but she was so happy he was caring for her. She had noticed the heat a little and kindly moved out of the sleeping bag without moving her hands. Her throat was burning on top of the bitter taste, which didn't help at all, "thank-you... Thank-you so much for taking care of me, it means a lot to me," She smiled behind her hands. She didn't mean to be rude, she'd just rather not make a mess where they were going to sleep.
Braixy clapped her paws at the little dance as she seemed to have gotten over her little episode. The fire-type didn't seem bothered by the heat at all, bright-eyed and bushy-tail would be apt to describe her.
-
He fished a water bottle out of his bag. “Sure thing.” He froze for a second on his way back to her when she thanked him. He handed her the water bottle and sat down. He wasn’t used to being thanked. Except by his sister, but that was a long time ago. “N-No problem. I mean, I got you into this mess so it’s the least I can do to get you out of it.” His surprised facial expression turned to one of happiness, Dmitrii wearing a toothy grin. “I think once you’re a bit better we should get Garchomp or Scizor to carry you to a cooler climate, this desert weather is rough.” He scratched his chin. “I’ve never actually been to a desert. It’s hard to believe it can get this hot anywhere.” He laughed. “I guess since we’re here its possible, yeah?”
-
"Mess? Despite getting sick it's been pretty fun,"Amy smiled... After she took a swig of water. It hurt her throat to swallow, but it was worth it after the bitter taste went away. She didn't understand the joke, but nodded anyway, "I'm sure Garchomp wouldn't mind, he likes swimming anyway," Amy said happily. Swimming was a loose term, Garchomp couldn't swim in water, but sand was a whole different story. When Dmitrii stuttered, Amy was worried he might be getting sick too. She hoped that wasn't the case, it was miserable being sick.
-
He smiled. “Yeah, I was just worried that being sick might have dampened the rest of the trip ao far for you.” He laughed at Banette and Braixen’s antics. “This has been pretty fun so far. I know now that the storm last night proooobably wasn’t your favorite part of the trip so far but I think everything else hasn’t treated you too poorly.” He laughed harder. “Maybe except for whenever I tripped over you.” He wiped a tear from his eye. “That was quite an interesting way to meet, huh?” He looked over to Braixen and Banette. “Have you teo been enjoying the trip?” Banette waved his arms in the air as to say yes.
-
"It was interesting," Amy snickered, "I've never had someone literally fall head over heels when they met me," She smiled. Braixy nodded happily at Dmitrii's question and followed it with a very happy yip. Despite Amy getting sick and Dmitrii getting beaten, she's loved this adventure. "Everything about this trip has been so much fun," Amy eventually continued, "I mean, the storm was scary, but I've never been in the middle of a huge rainstorm like that! And I've never seen a desert so wet... I had no idea it could even rain in a desert." This journey had been full of surprises. Scizor sending a Pokemon through the wall, a festival, a storm, it was all really exciting so far.
-
Dmitrii laughed. “Yeah, I guess Unova is just weird or something - Weird and fun.” He tapped his chin. “If all of this has happened so far, I wonder what else would happen.” He sat down with his legs crossed and took a sip from a water bottle. “It’s times like this where I wish I had a watertype.” He swished the bottle, trying to gauge how much of it was left. “Hmmm.. I think we’ll have enough water tonight, but if not I’ll just go back to the city.” He yawned. “Man I guess I didn’t sleep well or somethinrg, because I’m still pretty tired.”
-
"Rest then," Amy smiled, "we can leave later. I'm sure Garchomp wouldn't mind carrying you, me, or even both of us!" She smiled before letting a single cough. She'd rather suffer the heat with her friend than send him out alone in the desert. She was afraid of being alone, but she was much more afraid of something happening to him. If he got hurt she'd... Amy blinked the thought away before smiling once more at Dmitrii. Braixy didn't understand a microde of her Trainer's pause before she cheered at the idea of riding Garchomp. He was cute enough with the bow, travel purposes were a bonus.
-
Dmitrii scratched hischin. “That sounds like a good idea.” Dmitrii laughed. “Maybe, but I’ll definitley be fine.” He yawned again and layed down on his back. “We got pretty lucky finding this shelter, I dunno what could have happened if we had to go from one side of the storm to another.” He shrugged, he didn’t want to think about how much worse Amy might have been. She already had a pretty bad cold. Banette cheered atthe idea of possibly riding one of the larger pokemon as well. It was nice to be able to see from the view of someone who isn’t a foot tall. Dmitrii looked like he was about to say something before he fell asleep, and started snoring.
should we skip to morning soon?
-
OOC: Yep, sorry about the late reply, it's been crazy lately Xo
IC: Amy stayed awake a while after Dmitrii fell asleep. She watched him sleep as she curled tighter as if for comfort. She had the desire to laugh, cry, and scream as loudly as she could. Never in her wildest dreams had she thought she would meet somebody like Dmitrii who would take her with him without a second thought, or that's how she saw it anyway. Amy laid her head on her knees as she stared at him a bit longer as if the secrets would come out if she stared, but no such luck. Instead she sniffled a few more times before curling back down into her sleeping bag to rest and get well, "goodnight..." She whispered out before her eyes fluttered closed.
The next morning, more strange sounds filled the air, but they were muffled and... Joyus? Amy was still asleep in her sleeping bag and Braixy was nowhere to be found. Amy's bag hung open and a few of the contents hung out, a spare shirt and her sandals, but something in particular was missing. At that moment, a familiar yellow and orange head zoomed by the window followed by, "braaaaaaaaaaaii!"
-
its all good lol, i gotcha
Dmitrii, at first had slept through whatever sounds were coming from the windows. It wasn’t until the “Braiiii!” That he shot right up immediately. “Wha?” He said while rubbing his eyes. “There’s the thing and the other thing and there’s a brai and...” His half awake rambling quickly moved to words that made even less sense and it eventually quitened before he interrupted himself with a yawn. “Whawasthat” He stumbled over his words. He looked around. “Where’s the pokemon with the fire stuff?” Words always escaped tired Dmitrii.
Banette turned over and pulled his tiny blanket up to his ears to try to drown out his trainer, but he eventually gave up and stood up. Where did Braixen go?
-
Once more by the window the yellow and orange blurr sped by followed by the cry. Amy had started to wake up when Dmitrii started speaking and she slowly opened one eye to look around, but it was too bright so she snapped it back closed. It was too early for this, she decided silently. The blurr passed a few more times in front of the window and one of those times there were paw-like hands flying in the wind with the yellow and orange. Amy tried to block out the noise with her sleeping bag, but there was no such luck.
Outside, Braixy was riding on the back of something dark as her back rested against a large fin. With the talk last night, the child-like fire-type had gotten a brilliant idea. When the sun rose she retrieved Garchomp's Pokeball and then proceeded to tell him the trainer's 'plan'. A bit more conversation happened before the ground-type tested the state of the sand before deciding to go swimming. Well, Braixy just decided to tag along and then...
"Braaaaaaaaaii!"
-
Dmitrii yawned. "Whashappening?" He was confused if anything. He stood up slowly, his bones cracking under the weight of himself. He scratched his back as he groggily trotted his way outside. He immediately woke us as a 'wave' of sand was splashed up into his face. He sputtered before looking for the culprit. It was.... Braixen on Garchomp's back? He turned back and faced Amy. "Your pokemon are crazy, like really crazy." He sighed before letting out his pokemon. "Time for breakfast." He said half heartedly as he scooped food into bowls for his and Amy's pokemon.
Scizor didn't seem to happy to be waken up so early, but Honchkrow didn't seem to mind.
finally home :3
-
OOC: Yay! I hope you had a great trip :3
IC: "Hmm?" Amy yawned before she slowly made her way to her feet. She was feeling better today, but wasn't quite better. On shaky feet she made her way to stand by Dmitrii at the door. She had no clue why he was covered with sand or where Braixy was, "I know people just a crazy..." She yawned. She leaned against the wall to peer out at the blinding sand when she moticed Braixy speeding across the nearly white surface at speeds not possible for the fire-type. Her eyes widened and she slowly reached a hand up to rub her eyes. Braixy, on the other hand, was having the time of her life.
-
Dmitrii took a few granola bars out of his bag for him and Amy. He handed half to his sick friend. "Are ya feeling any better? You look a little better." He unwrapped one of the food items and took a bite. "If we're not at another town by lunch i'll pick up some better stuff for us. Because I'm craving a sandwich." Banette walked over to his trainer after he finished eating, and his eyes promptly widened as he spotted Braixen. He sprinted over as fast as his little legs could carry him outside and waved his arms trying to get her attention. How was she doing that!?
-
Amy happily accepted the granola bar and was just about to answer when Dmitrii went dashing for the door. Slowly unwrapping it she quietly watched him from the doorway. Slowly taking a bite she chewed while he waved his hands, "I'm okay," She responded, though she doubted he heard. Farther out in the sand Braixy suddenly stopped moving. The fire-type slowly rotated before launching forward so fast sand sprayed out behind her like a waterfall. The fire-type was screaming and flailing her limbs in a panic. She wasn't running, she was still on Garchomp's back. Garchomp could feel Dmitrii on the sand waving around.
-
it was banette who ran off :3
Dmitrii laughed a little when Banette was sprayed with a ‘wave’ of sand. The pokemon sputtered before givinn a little giggle itself. He took off running again whenever she started flailing her limbs, but he could not catch up the the land shark unsurprisingly. Dmitrii almost bellowed st the humorous sight. “Man I think BOTH our pokemon are crazy.”
im reslly sorry for the small post and how long it took me, i have band camp right now(if you know what that is)
-
OOC: That sounds so fun! Is it for traditional instruments(Flute Trumpet ect) or is it for like band band instruments?(Fallout ACDC ect X3) plus it's cool :3 not a one-liner so I'm all good
