  • Dmitrii smiled. “That sounds nice to me! Lets try and find an outdoor restaraunt so our pokemon can eat too.” He grabbed Scizor’s pokeball and threw it, causing the angry red pokemon to become awfully peeved. Dmitrii ignored the angry pokemon’s jibberish. “Oh knock it off, Scizor. Don’t you want to eat?” The metallic bug pokemon crossed his arms, and looked the other way. Dmitrii smiled. “I’ll take that as a yes.” He followed Amy out of the park. “Castelia sure is a beautiful city, isn’t it? Growing up in the boonies of Hoenn I have a fascination with cities.”

  • "That's hilarious," Amy smiled, "I grew up in the big city so I'm more excited to traverse in nature. I'm probably not physically able, but it's a bridge I'll crawl over when I get there," She smiled. Garchomp awkwardly trailed behind the group as Braixy and Raichu flitted between walking behind the trainers to walking in front of the shark Pokemon. The pair stayed out of the way others when walking and to most they would look like an excited pair of children, which they were. Raichu ways the youngest of all of them, then Braixy, and nobody was really sure of Garxhomp's age. The Shark Pokemon just sort of existed as far as Amy knew.

The brunette trainer scanned the sidewalk for an open cafe as her Pokemon either walked in silence or flitted about the group chattering happily. Soon a cafe within sight of the battles in the park appeared on the horizon with a large green banner and a small gated outdoors area. It was well shaded and it only had a few tables while the rest of the gated area was open and empty, most likely for larger Pokemon to sit. Once it came into sight Amy pointed at it, "what about there?"

  • Dmitrii idly looked around, enjoying the landscape. “I’m sure you would do fiiiiine.” He lazy swatted one hand, as the say ‘no biggie.’ Dmitrii observed the respectable cafe. It certainly looked decent, and since there was an area outside their pokemon would be very happy. “That looks like a great place to me!” Dmitrii happily stated as they steered themselves towards the outdoor area. He sat down beside Amy, with Banette and the other pokemon sitting around them. A waiter appeared from the building and walked over. “What may I get you all to drink, today?” He asked politely. “I’ll have a coke, please. Any my pokemon would really love some water.” Banette nodded his head. It was hot outside.

im sorry i wasnt able to post much yesterday! fingers crossed i can post more today

  • OOC: It's all good :3 Life happens and I'm sorry it's short, life is happening rn lol rip phone battery X3

IC: "Says you..." She pouted at Dmitrii before they went to sit down at the cafe, "water all around for us," She sniled at the waiter, "and... Maybe a larger one for him," Amy noted as she glanced at Garchomp sitting awkwardly beside all the Pokemon. Braixy and Raichu collapsed in the shade with happy sighs and the large ground-type complained very little about the heat. Amy also seemed better today despite the black jacket around her shoulders.

  • its all good haha

Dmitrii chuckled at Amy's slightly childish antics, and smiled at the waiter before he left. He observed the large Garchomp, and leaned over to Amy. "He's not much of a crowd person, is he?" He whispered to her ear. Banette hopped off of his trainers head as the beverages arrived, and happily drank up most of his water in one gulp. "That's not very polite, Banette." Dmitrii teased. Banette rolled his eyes, probably murmuring 'whatever' to himself. Dmitrii took a sip of his drink. "Today didn't start out too well, but thank you for making it much better." He smiled gratuitously.

  • post script i forgot

im going on vacation tomorrow - ill try my hardest to stay in touch but for about a week i wont have any signal, or internet or anything :p

figured id tell you so you wouldnt think im ditching the thread because im loving this thread so far

  • OOC: Have fun on vacation! Rest relax and sleep in(the most important)!

IC: "No... No he's not," Amy glanced at Garchomp, "he's the silent bodyguard type and I'm pretty sure he doesn't like me," She mumbled to Dmitrii as the sharp Pokemon glanced their way as if he heard her. The girl flinched back at the gaze before Dmitrii thanked her, "you're welcome, it was really nice to let everybody stretch out!" She sniled brightly. Raichu, after drinkimg half of his glass, was back to happily floating around the group cheering. Braixy followed it around with her stick and gently nudged the rather dangerous electric type away from the others. Well, except Garchomp. The ground-type didn't particularly care either way if he was shocked or not.

  • Dmitrii smiled kindly. “I’m sure if he has any respect for his trainer he will probably like the people he likes.” He nodded before continuing. “Well, I basically had no choice. Banette gets angry if he doesnt get to see the others often.” He laughed as Banette ‘shoo’ed him once again. The waiter came back to take their orders, but he already came with the food for the pokemon, iving each a bowl of relative size. Dmitrii ordered a burger and fries.once the waiter left, Dmitrii started stumbling over his words. “Uh.. Hey Amy.” He adjusted his shirt. “Would you li-..” He seemed to have trouble getting thw words out.

  • Once the food arrived Braixy and Raichu dug into their meal as if it were their last while Garchomp ate considerably slower and safer. Amy had ordered a simple cold sandwich as she usually didn't eat much regardless of the situation. She had been thinking about her brother when Dmitrii started to stutter over his words, "yes?' She asked with her head tilted a little bit, "what is it?" She continued before waiting for him to continue. She was worried he was seeing 'him' again, but Braixy thought otherwise as she stopped eating to watch the stuttering trainer intently with sparkling eyes. Amy moved just a bit closer to him to hear what he had to say, not to be freaky! She just didn't want to miss what he said.

  • Banette stopped eating as well, Scizor eventually following suit. Dmitrii blushed as she moved closer. “Well, uhm...” He wrung his hands out as he tried to say it. “W-Would you like to travel around U-Unova together?” He looked at his lap, embarassed. Back in Unova people almost treated asking to travel together like asking someone to be their girlfriend or boyfriend. He didn’t think about if it was different for other regions. Banette, Honchkrow, and Scizor all stopped eating and stood wide-eyed at his trainer. Dmitrii’s blush deepened at the sudden attention. “I mean you dont have to if you don’t want to..” He picked at his sling absentmindedly. “I-It’s just.. You’re really nice and stuff and you seem to like me which doesn’t happen that often.” Dmitrii tried to give a nervous laugh. “I-I mean I guess I don’t know if you actually like me. If you don’t that’s okay because i understand. W-We dont have to travel together or anything.”

ah, dmitrii dmitrii dmitrii. he can be such a tease sometimes without realizing XD

  • Amy blinked in surprise before a large smile grew on her face, "what are you talking about? I'd love too!" She smiled brightly. Braixy's expression deadpanned before she let out an exasperated groan and fell backwards dramatically while Raichu cheered happily. Garchomp didn't look like he aporoved as suddenly his attention was on Dmitrii as if he were an opponent. Amy didn't seem to understand the severity of the question as she smiled brightly, practically cluelessly, at him, but Garchomp did. Garchomp very much so understood despite not originating from the Hoenn region. Garchomp was from... Yes. Braixy laid on the ground looking disappointed at the question and it was highly likely Raichu didn't understand at all as he cheered. Amy leaned back to her seat still with a bright smile, "it should be lots of fun with the both of us."

OOC: She doesn't understand at all X3 I agree about Dmitrii lol

  • braixy is so adorablee and omg that would be super interestig if garchomp starts to hate dmitrii

Banette cheered when Amy said yes, and a look of relief flushed over Dmitrii’s bright red face. He gave a toothy and wide smile before throwing his arms up in the air, saying “Yay!” before immediately wincing because of the strain on his arm. He gave a laugh of rejoice. He took another sip of his coke before continuing his previous train of thought. “I’m sure it’s gonna be a lot of fun!”

Scizor, realizing that his trainer didn’t notice the looks garchomp was giving him, he finished his food and slyly moved a but closer to his trainer. Just in case a fight broke out. Banette came over to rejoice with Braixen, hopping from foot to foot with his stubby hands waving up and down.

p.s. ignore the bottom reply, i finished it lol

  • OOC: lol ikr? Rip Dmitrii

IC: "I know you're happy, but don't hurt yourself," Amy teased as Dmitrii threw his hands into the air. She smiled cheerfully at him before taking a drink of her water and leaning back in her seat. She was glad to travel with somebody else, especially in a region unknown to her where she could easily get lost possibly forever. The thought was terrifying, but not enough to really ruin her good mood. Amy was so glad to be in good company on her second day in Unova that nothing could really ruin her mood. Of course there wasa question she did have, "are you challenging the gyms in this region or are you doing something else?" She blinked at her new partner.

Braixy didn't seem to share Banette's enthusiasm as she puffed out her cheeks and stared at the two. Garchomp comtinued to stare at Dmitrii as the large Pokemon seemed uninterested in his lunch. He looked very tense despite the peaceful atmosphere, but he didn't look to be moving. Raichu simply floated around the menacing ground-type cheering happily as if Garchomp was just as happy as everyone else. Garchomp was not.

  • lol

Dmitrii rolled his eyes playfully. “Well I didn’t mean to.” The waiter came with their food, and Dmitrii smiled appreciatively and thanked him. He took a bite of his sandwich. “It wouldnt hurt I guess. And I should really stop gambling so much so it can be a good way of making money.” He pointed to Scizor. “Scizor here has never lost a battle.” Scizor ignored his trainer, as he carefully watched Garchomp with his arms crossed. “Oh knock it off Scizor, he’s not going to d-“ Dmitrii noticed the look Garchomp was directing to him. “Has he been doing this the whole time?” He asked Scizor, who promptly nodded. Dmitrii smiled sheepishly at the now ever-so-intimidating pokemon. “D-Did I do something Garchomp?”

  • Garchomp didn't even make a noise at his words, just continyed to stare. Amy waved her hand in front of Dmitrii to catch Garchomp's attention, but the Pokemon didn't move a microde causing the girl to frown. She waved a few more times with the same result, "he's so weird..." She mumbled, "and you mean the other night? I think those guys were just sore loosers, I mean you played honestly from what I saw," She said. Saw was an overstatement as Amy hadn't seen much of anything that night after the contest and the bright lights. She hadn't seen much besides that, "I was just curious since I really didn't have a plan... At all... Yeah I came to this region with a my Pokemon and a map, that's it," She laughed. That was when Garchomp's silent focus twitched as the yellow eyes glanced momentarily at his second trainer, or charge might be more accurate, with something akin to fear before going back to glare at Dmitrii.

  • Dmitrii gave a nervous laugh, and Banette followed suit. “Haha... Yeah.. Fair.” He nervously fiddled with his hands, not meeting her eyes. Scizor pushed him, bugging him to tel the truth. Dmitrii let out a breath he didn’t realize he was holding. “Alright I can’t lie to you. I wasn’t plying fairly.” He put Banette on top of his head. “Whenever I gamble, I have Banette on the top of my head. I’ll scratch my head halfway through a game and he’ll swap my cards with some good ones.” He blushed deeply. “When I was in Hoenn it was the only way I could make money. I know i have enough money now that I can stop but It’s just the thrill of betting it all and winning that makes it so tempting to do over and over again.” He fidgeted with his hands. “It’s not honest, I know.. And I can’t really defend myself.” Banette hopped off his head and tryed to puthis hands in between his trainer’s in an attempt to stop him from fidgeting. “Ah, sorry.” He said to banette. He looked at Amy. “If you dont want to travel with me anymore, that’s fine. I wouldn’t want to travel with me either.”

  • Garchomp's gaze hardened almost instantly at Dmitrii's confession and he looked considerably angrier than earlier despite not having moved at all. Braixy looked stunned and gave Banette a questioning stare as if to ask the ghost-type if it was true while Raichu stood there with an open mouth in a half smile as a blank look filled its eyes. He didn't understand any of this and probably never would. The last of the reactions was Amy and she just stared at him. Several thoughts ran through her head at the idea of his unfair practices as did several emotions. Of course she was angry as he had been beaten within inches of his life because of it and she was angry that he cheated so many people out of their money, but worst of all Banette was involved. She didn't like the idea of it and probably never would, but...

    "What are you talking about?"

Amy didn't like it, not one bit, but the fact he was honest meant more to her. He protected Banette from the people who hurt him and he didn't run away after it happened like she had the idea a guilty person would. It made her happy that he came back and protected Banette, "I haven't changed my mind at all and I doubt I ever will. You came back after it happened. I mean, yeah, I sort of found you first, but still. You could have run away since we had barely met, but you didn't. I mean the fact alone that you told me makes me happy," She smiled, "there's trust, that's what matters. Though... I will add that maybe you should play honestly... Those guys were terrifying."

  • Dmitrii let out a sigh of relief, leaving a weak smile on his face after hearing that she doesn’t absolutely despise him after his confession. “I had made a promise when i got here that i wouldn’t gamble anymore, because I already won enough for the rest of my life, but I guess I’ve become sort of addicted. That’s why I want to maybe start battling. It would be a better yhing to enjoy. Dmitrii glanced around from his partner, who was happily accepting his head being scratched. He turned white as a sheet when he saw the look on Garchomp’s face.

Banette turned red as he was questioned by Braixen, before just sigh-ing and admitting it. He let out a nervous laugh, trying to play it off as a joke. It is obvious to say he fauled miserably.

    ohmygosh raichu is so ADORABLE

  • OOC: I know lol I'm so torn between Braixy and Raichu as my favorite!

IC: "I hear it can even be relaxing for some people," Amy mused as she ignored the look of death from Garchomp, "my brother said he liked to battle on occasion to relieve his Pokemon's stress. It seems dangerous to me, but Garchomp liked it well enough... When he was still with my brother," She hummed. Garchomp didn't move a microde at being mentioned and neither did he move when Raichu hovered up in front of his face and held out his arms for a hug. Garchomp's focus was only rivaled by his willingness to fight, both were astronomically high.

Braixy teared up at the confession and nearly threw herself at Banette for a hug. At that moment Raichu happily hugged the large Garchomp's face as he once again became a pillar of electricity. Bolts of electricity arked off of Garchomp onto the decorative stone below and one bolt just happened to hit poor Braixy mid-air. The fire-type let out a strangled cry before she hit the ground in an ashen heap as a puff of smoke escaped her mouth. Amy looked embarrassed at her Pokemon's actions as her face turned red before she let out an awkward cough, "and other Pokemon... Are just too affectionate to fight."
