Well, i finally made it. Gravity Falls, Oregon. After days of driving and crappy motels, we pulled up to the small, dingy shack in the middle of the woods. I've heard so much about this place from Mom; with her imagination I bad started to doubt if it even existed. But, this book and Mom's stories add up, so that's gotta mean something. And here I am, documenting this all in Mom's old room. It's a little dusty, but it's comfy and cozy and it's the perfect size for me. Mom and Dipper are downstairs with the Grunkles, I should go visit them. ~ M. P.
Max Pines was the next generation of his family to be one with the town. He loved everything about it; he had been coming since he was young and it grew on him instantly. With his mom and uncle, it was hard not to grow up the way he did. He was adventurous, curious, and always eager for a mystery. He was there for the summer, and he couldn't have been more excited. When he was young, no more than ten, Grunkle Ford had given him the fabled book 3, the one him and Uncle Dipper had written in for years about the mysteries in this town. And now, it was time for him to continue the legacy. It was his turn to document his findings, adventures, and fun!
After catching up with the family for a while he grabbed his book, his bag, and announced that he was going out to the town for a while. Setting off down the dirt road, he wrote down everything he was thinking, anything he saw that interested him, and everything about the town in general. With his light brown, almost blonde hair tucked under a hat his mom made for him, his hazel eyes focused on every detail around him, he knew that he was going to have fun.
