    Roy sighed again. "I guess you could say I do. My Pack was technically neutral. They stayed out of the affairs of others, but the Storming Alliance are the ones who fight evil. Many of us are hurt by events in our past that have spurred us to fight, myself included. As one of my Teammates once said, 'The past is the past, and the future is the future. What's done is done, but we can affect what's yet to come'."

    He opened his journal and showed her the page he had on the rock. “I’m taking notes on our new friend at the moment.”


    There are doodles in the margins. Eyes and triangles with hats...?

    "At this point, I'm convinced that nearly anything is possible..." Frost muttered as she leaned in for a better look. "He's a god, right? What does he want with us?" she asked.

    "Ah, we are alike." Carter said with a hint of a smile. "Both a legend among our tribes, fighting in a better tomorrow, protecting the right." But the neko glanced at Frost with a smile. "I suppose that could describe all of us, heroes, leaders in our respective worlds. We all drink the same water of responsibility and acceptance."

    Art caught a glance of the triangle, tilting his head slightly. From his grandfather he had nor only inherited genius, but a nearly eidetic memory as well. And that shape rang a bell in the memory. "Excuse me," he apologized to the two, "but what is that? It looks familiar." He asked Marcus, pointing at the symbol.

    "Said he wanted us to help find his fellows. All trapped in similar objects, I think."


    He looked at Art. "Oh, that's.... that's just some doodling. I draw what I see in my dreams."


    Not a total lie, exactly....


    Notable detail of his journal: none of it was written in english. All in a strange symbol-alphabet.

    Roy followed his gaze with a frown. But something tells me not to trust them. The only technology I trust is from Cori, because the Dark Legion used their own to nearly wipe out my Pack. he thought.

    Crush noticed more people were gathering up to chat, and he sneered a little bit. "Look at the sheep, talking like nothing is wrong," he muttered, tapping his foot in anticipation. "That rock ought to have sent us to that marketplace by now. If time really is of the essence, he wouldn't keep us waiting."
