Ana raised an eyebrow "Unicorn Hair? You've got unicorns in your world? Huh..." She spoke aloud, before frowning as she thought about the next part of Lily's sentence "What does the flexibility do? Does how flexible it is change its effectiveness? Say, really flexible are better for aiming spells round corners or what?"

Lily shrugged. "Maybe. For some spells to be effective you have to swish the wand in a certain motion and when you do some are more flexible and bend to the motion while others are stiffer and cut through the air. As for Unicorns, yes we do. They are very rare."
-
"Interesting." Roy said. He was still confused as can be, but she seemed like a nice person. "What about you, furball?" he turned to Frost. "Anything special 'bout your World? Aside from humans supposedly being 'dominant'." What an odd concept. Humans and Mobians lived together peacefully, so it was impossible for Roy to think of either being "dominant", or of a place where there were no Mobians.
-
Despite everything, Frost could barely believe what she was hearing. Unicorns? Really? Of all the mythical creatures to be real, that seemed a bit too ridiculous. She perked up as Roy spoke to her. "Oh, there are a lot of interesting things I could tell you. The biggest and most glaring fact is that I live in not one, but two different universes." Frost began. "-And, it's all united under one banner. For the most part, anyways. That's the Multiplex Empire I spoke of earlier."
-
"Huh." He grunted. The tip of his tail twitched. "Sounds a little like the Four Worlds. Only no one rules over them all. We all live together peacefully." Roy said. Something about that information bothered him. Granted, some villains had tried to take the Four Worlds for themselves, or destroyed them, but they had all lost.
-
"Multiplex Empire? Well, that doesn't sound like a perfect dystopia..." Ana muttered sarcastically, before sitting down "Well, we don't seem to be going anywhere fast, so may as well talk about where we're all from."
-
She nodded. "Peace like that can be hard to come by. In one of my universes, peace was a word that might at well not existed. It was a lawless wasteland with no order whatsoever. One person, my best friend and mentor, saw the problem and decided to put a stop to it. And that he did." Frost explained proudly before looking down at her paws. "I'll... spare the details on how."
-
Roy frowned. "I can imagine how it happened." a growl edged his voice.
-
"Peace through Unity, Unity through strength." Ana spoke cynically, shaking her head "So what, you unified the wastes through happy talks, all singing kumbayah?" She asked, sarcasm flooding from every word.
-
She sniffed and looked up at Ana with a disdainful look. "The ends have justified the means." Frost stated.
-
"I know from experience that some people can say one thing and mean another. It's happened to my old Pack one too many times." Roy growled. "Plus the fact there's a madman on the loose who claims to want to 'cleanse' the Four Worlds, but really means to destroy them. Perfect example right there." he snapped his fingers.
-
Lily looked between them as she thought of an example herself. "In my world there's a dark wizard who wants to cause a war between the magical world and the mug-non magic people..." She corrected herself. "He says it's for the better good and all that but he's causing so much pain...."
-
"I don't see how starting a war between two groups could better anyone... but that's not my field anyways. I'm scientist, not a warlord." Frost remarked.
-
"The group who instigates the war may believe it's better for them." Roy grunted. "Again, my Pack has suffered such a crime."
-
"He thinks its foolish that we have to live in fear of the non magical people. Yet, so many of us don't. I mean, daddy says America is a little more fearful of them then England but still..."

Captain Corbin 'Crush' Craul - Earth 2609 (Portal AU) - Hand to Hand combat, Tactics, Weaponry
Crush's eyes widened somewhat in surprise. "More like..." he nodded as he noted the information. He had almost expected his other self to have taken an interest in this Twilight romantically, much as he had in his. But for his squad to be more like family, unburdened by the war, he could think of nothing happier. "Good. He... they sound like a happy life."
Carter Andrew 'Cat' Tonkinese - Earth 55 (Cat World) - Cat-like Reflexes and Agility, Claws, Feral Growth
Carter stepped back from the Lumos spell, his eyes alight with fear and curiosity. "That is a much different magic than my Goddess does..."

Lily smiled and disabled Lumos. "I'm not too surprised. Magic isn't just one type of magic."
Twilight nodded, the blush fading from her cheeks. "It is."
-
Roy almost snorted at the mention of the name "America". "My leader Austin says he comes from a place called 'America'. He doesn't talk about it much, but he says that it's his home." he said.
-
Ana shook her head at Frost's words "The ends justify the means? Then it really is a dystopia." She sighed, before resting her head against a tree as she listened "Mmm. No matter where you go, some people always want to dominate those they see as weaker then? Same with my world, except it's not a person doing it. It's an AI, from an old scientific testing facility. After a while, it went mad and started to convert the test volunteers it had in stasis into Cyborgs to take the world with at first. After about 5 months or so, most of those were destroyed though, so as far as I'm aware, it's all just robots now."

They had all just arrived and already people were having debates about philosophy and what justifies what! Marcus suppressed a giggle.
He wondered if he should add a few points of his own to the conversation. Maybe not the parts about chaos, but...
“Well, let’s not be so quick to judge our new friend’s home.” He added in. “After all, an authority can be strict without being crushing. Let’s give Dr. Frost the benefit of the doubt, eh? Perhaps what her friend did was necessary in that context.”
