  • This, by all official means, was not a meeting. It was more of an announcement, so that’s what she was calling it. The child had called for it earlier, using the intercom to announce to what few members were still here that she had something she needed to tell them. Nervously, she shuffled her feet. What would they think? Would they support her or would they think a kid like her wasn’t fit to be warden? Lav stepping down entirely was a huge change. She thought he was going to come back, that he was going to take over again and she would continue to just be his second. You couldn’t stay his second forever she reminded herself This would’ve had to happen eventually yea but why had it have had to happen so soon? “Hey everyone I have an announcement to make. Lav is stepping down entirely so I’ll now be the warden full time, not just acting warden that is all” she waited for a moment, to see everyone’s reactions, allow it to settle in that a kid was now their leader. She hoped she had the support of at least a few, that they were even still around. Where had everyone been lately? The place seemed so empty nowadays.

Lav was leaving? What was she going to do without his constant cheerfulness and support? Percy had been distant lately and now Lav was leaving.. who was going to hang out with her in the garden? At least Athena was still here. And she was leading for real now. Blin had a feeling that the position would suit her well. Personally, the ocelot didn't belong in that kind of a role. No, healing was a much better fit for her. But Athena would do great, she was certain of it. Frankly, Blind doubted anyone here was more capable than Athena. "Congratulations, Athena, and good luck. Though you probably don't need it." Blin would beam sweetly in the general direction of the new warden. Lav's reign had been short and sweet, but she had hope that he was happy wherever he was now.
