those are super pretty!!! drawing and writing are my art of choice haha
-
I like to sing more than anything but I don't think I would call that my art haha Idk if I would call drawing my art either since I more or less just redraw my references lol My bf (we got back together) and family say that I have a nice voice but I think they kind of have to say that haha. I took 2 years of chorus in high school.
-
When school gets back in session where I'm at it will be my sixth year playing trombone in band, and third year singing in a choir. My mind can't really do drawing all that well, and I'm certain I've got dyslexia, because it seems to runs in the male side of my family, so my reading/writing sucks, but music, I can do music with a pretty good skill level in my opinion, not saying I'm the best, but I'm decent at it.

ooh, band stuff now?
I played Tenor sax for 7 years (3 in middle school, 4 yrs Jazz band in high school) and in 9th grade I switched to Oboe for concert band. I was pretty good, too. Also, have a trumpet, clarinet, and know some piano.
-
That's awesome :) Ive wanted to do music. My bf plays guitar. I really want to buy and learn the piano (will have to settle for an electric piano) but right now I'm saving all of my spare money to move to Australia. So maybe once Im there I can buy one :3

like, barely. I taught myself on a keyboard, okay? learned how to play Kingdom Hearts Organization XIII theme on it. slowly been opening up my skills to other songs. A few years ago I was in a USO before Christmas, and i learned how to play christmas songs for the 30-some marines there waiting to go home for christmas...
-
That's really sweet of you! Yeah that's my plan too. Just teach myself. There are tons of resources online these days
-
Yea, I don't know any woodwinds, but I can play tuba, baritone, trombone, and trumpet, I could also probably easily learn french horn because the fingerings would be the same as the other brass instruments. Once I have to start moving all of my fingers to fill different holes, than I can't think that fast, and that's also why I don't think I'll ever pick up the piano. My friends at school learned the piano by watching Youtube videos for various songs, they don't know any notes, they just know what keys go to what sound in the song.
-
i used to play piano but i quit because i couldn't handle recitals anymore,,, hh
-
That's what I did, taught myself through YT.
-
I found this guy on YT who teaches piano. Like notes and scales and even teaches how to read music along with teaching basic songs like Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. I watched a few of his videos and subscribed to him in the hopes that I'll be able to buy an electric piano one day haha
-
ha, my mom had the one she was given as a child. That's what I learned on XD

Lucky haha. I have to focus on my major goal of moving countries before I can even try to focus on anything else. It's going to be so expensive T.T rip my bank account for the next year </3 lol but it'll be worth it in the end!! ^.^

I feel bad for this, especially since you're all here, but I look like I'm stoned because I'm so tire, so I'm going to listen to a few more sad songs like and than I'm going to bed, let's say on the hour is when I'll head off.
Good luck with moving to a new country, I'm still trying to get farther than 200 miles outside my state, and it's worse than that because I live right on the South Eastern border of Idaho. A new country sounds a little scary for me, though I'd love to be able to travel around and see more than just a 400 mile radius around my home town, I think I could drive as far out as I've been, and than go to the next farthest destination by going back to my house and heading back out again, and still do it all in a day.
-
Yeah it's a little scary but it's super exciting! I visited last month and I LOVED it (I did have a bit of a meltdown about how much change you get in Australia since they only have coins for $1 and $2 and I just had so much change and idfky I was so stressed over that on that one day but I could NOT deal hahaha) My boyfriend lives over there so I wont be doing it totally alone and it'll be exciting to live with him ^.^

You know it is, his music is pretty good, considering it can make someone like me, the guy that didn't cry at his friends funeral, break down. That takes a talent to do, that song specifically was one that I listened to shortly after the funeral for him, I listened to the song before, but after feeling a loss like that, it gets to you.
That would be one of my problems if I did try to travel, I've lived in a small town my whole life, I have no family that I know of outside of Idaho, so I'd basically be on my own when I did try to travel. Also, if I went to Australia, I would lose my mind because of the change, I can barely stand it when I have only two pennies in my wallet.

I wanna live in Idaho. I know Couer D'Alenes and Moscow are in the northern handle, not where you live, but, that's the Idaho I know and love. My father was raised there, and my grandparents still live there. Shoshonee and Kootenai counties are so beautiful!
