Felix "Lynx" Zhang | Male | 27 | Interaction: theGrimmArtist Gigaphlorpin Spudbob Bunnie ❝ the same heart and mind as you ❞
"This is because I'm Xingese, isn't it," Lynx mutters under his breath. C'mon, he'd even gone and bleached his hair white. That usually throws people off. Well, that and the ridiculous personality change. It's a bit difficult to mix up a doormat with who Lynx is at the moment. Louder, he calls up to Ms. Dark 'n Edgy, "It was sarcasm, honey! And shouldn't you be a bit more offended by the fact that he actually thought you needed protection from me than my sarcasm?" He gestures towards the Major. Giving a deep, dramatic sigh, Lynx procures his passport from his sleeve, and shows it to Crilland and Thorson. 诸葛亮, reads the passport which, of course, is a legitimate one from Xing. Lynx just had to pull a few strings. "My parents thought it was funny," he says in lieu of an explanation for the name. "Now am I free of my 'harassment charges'?" he asks, giving the air quotes. "Or do I need to speak Xingese for you to get that I'm not the Cryofreeze Alchemist?" Lynx pauses. "Did he speak Xingese?" ❝ it's just me that isn't satisfied ❞

Agni turned her head slightly to the side so she could better speak with Resse. She clenched her fist reflexively, not wanting to hurt him with the crackling energy that usually alerted others to alchemy. She wouldn't lie, him almost shooting the flirty stranger freaked her out- but not as much as her rushing in the direct path of that bullet. Her bones still shock a little bit, but she swallowed the fear. Resse was a good guy. A bit tempermental, but his heart was in the right place. He wouldn't hurt anyone on the team, indirectly or not. Besides, if he had hurt someone, he could , for a lack of better word, control blood right? That meant that there was a good chance he could heal that person- or at least keep the dying to a minimum until the group could get professional help.
"We...Don't know yet." She sighed, keeping her eyes trained on the two figures. Indignation welled inside of her. They should attack now! Or at least bring them into the station! They had probable case, didn't they? And there was five of them, all the state alchemists. No one would question it! But Agni allowed herself to be held back by Thorson's arm. Thornson was right, they would see them later. Her clenched hand began to itch, so she turned her attention to that- surprised to see that her nails had drawn blood.
Letting out a soft hiss, she wiped her bloody palm in her pants and had a show of cracking her knuckles.
"But if these two have anything to do with, believe you me, you won't be the first one to shoot 'em."

A hot flash of anger flashed through the women.
"Don't patronize me, kid. And don't think you can talk you're way out of this!" Sheka bared her teeth from inside the pillow case, her hand's crackling with soft alchemy. "I'm perfectly capable about getting whatever I want! I don't need you and your stupid alchemy." Sheska let out a soft 'tch'. She'd been to obvious. And now, her anger had gotten the better of her. Damn these alchemists. Everything bad in this world happens because of them, and they don't ever take responsibility for it. Because of them, millions of Ishbalans had lost their lives...millions of children have gone missing or killed through their inaction and families had been sliced and diced, silenced by the war and the military. No more.
"Now listen. What suspects do you have." It was a question, but her anger made it a statement. From her bag, a large, unnatural stem from what looks to be several plants began to sprout from her bag. She urged it to move forward, letting it wrap around the girl's ankles as a kind of warning.

"Ok, there's no need for that," Sayah said to the man. "Nobody is picking on you because you're from Xing, but we do have to do our jobs and investigate any disturbances." She took the passport from him, studying it thoroughly. It looks real enough, but something about this guy just seems... off. And those two women, they seem equally suspicious. After growing up on the streets, Sayah had developed a keen sixth sense for danger and deception. It was vital if you wanted to stay alive.

"I told you the truth." Garnet says sincerely. "I don't have any suspects. I would've told you if I did. I'm stationed up north and he was here in central. I'm not the one you should be interrogating." She states calmly, looking at her square in the eyes and not moving. "If I would've seen something I would've stopped it. I do not want another mother being separated from their child. You know, I had a case about this earlier this year. The kid turned up dead and I had to watch the mother almost kill herself because we was so frustrated...." she pauses and looks at the mother. "Now, you want to let me go so we can find your son together, or do you want to continue interrogating me and risk never getting to see your son's smiling face ever again?"

Sheska grunted, anger swelling in her. This girl really knew how to talk, didn't she. She was hitting the right buttons to. Was she trained for this? She wondered, her foot bouncing. Odds were, Chris was already dead. He'd been missing for days now, and was an alchemist. This story of another child going missing...of dying. It sounded tailor made to what Sheska was going through, and she hadn't read about it in the papers, but... Odds were that if Chris wasn't dead, and this girl honestly had no clues... it would be easier working with her. Sheska tapped on her notebook, doing the math again and again. Still, the same answer.
Sighing heavily, she undid the alchymists bonds and slipped the jacket off her. Using the rope, Sheska tied several pillows around her and stuffed them under her shirt. Hastily, she ripped up another pillow and shoved the stuffing down her pant legs. She then slipped on the jacket and a pair of sun glasses, using the scarf to hide her hair and mostly obscure her face. She, she looked odd, but the point was to look like another person. Though this kid might of said nice things, it doesn't mean she actually cares. Sheska need to be ready of that. 'Withdrawing' her plant stem in her sachal, Sheska took the pillows off of the girl's head and untied her legs.
"Where to, alchemist?"

Thievery the Larson
Thievery pulled out one of the many wallets she had procured, grabbing out the ID inside of it. Drew Heartland, Male, 45.... "No, no that's not right." She grumbled, stuffing it back in her pocket before pulling out another wallet. She sat down on the crate, crossing her legs as she flipped through the next couple wallets. "AH here it is!" She hummed with a small laugh at the end. She leaned down from her perch just enough to show to the alchemists in front of her. "Circe Rhodes." She hummed. It wasn't her ID but it was the closest one that looked like her. Her old vessel's ID was long expired now. Plus her vessel was a registered thief, and wouldn't exactly be good to show to the military.
"And please. I have nothing to do with the disappearances. I was simply threatening you all." She grinned, her eyes flashing in amusement. "So. There's nothing to worry about us two." After putting the ID back into the swiped wallet, she hopped down from her perch, throwing a glare at Lynx. "Well there wont be anything to worry about if this brat would shut his mouth."

"I would like my gloves first please. I can't protect us if something does happen. Also, take that ridiculous disguise off. Nobody knows you kidnapped me. Nobody will know I was kidnapped." Garnet stands up and stretches her legs. "We check around central. Every nook and cranny. I'll get my mom's old dog to help sniff him out. Do you happen to have any clothing of his?" She asks softly, looking at they lady.

She grunted, trying not to let her frustration show on her face. She was going to point out the fact that the theif had just gone through several wallets in the open - right.infront.of.the.police.- but she held her tongue. If Thorson wanted them to do something about it, they would.

Sheska shock her head. "I can protect us if we get into trouble. I've survived this far, haven't I?"
She moved towards the window, opening it and starting to climb out. "I'm assuming you won't fall if we go this way. I do have something of my son's."

"Just give me back my damn gloves or I'm going back to my father to get new ones. And I'd be dragging you with me!" She barks at Sheska. "If I don't get my gloves back I'm not helping you!" She snarls, grabbing something on the desk of the hotel room and getting ready to throw it at something, obviously getting ready to rat her out.

Thor also had to restrain himself, taking Thievery's captured identification. He was hesitant to return it, but he did. "They all check out. Let's leave these citizens alone for now. We have work to do." He oh so desperately wanted to fight them as bad as the other alchemists, but with the Xing citizen looking suspiciously like a deceased alchemist, and the two young women who felt more dangerous than they looked, His tactical mind was warning him to retreat while he still could.

Agni opened her mouth to defend the flirty guy, the brat she had referred to, but stopped herself. Now was not the time to be making enemies. Now was the time to look for Moroni. She tapped Thorson's arm and turned slightly away.
"Alright, Sarge." She gave a small nod, resurrecting the nickname not trying to take away their new-found friendliness, but as a way of reminding the other alchemists - and alert the suspicious ladies - who was in charge. Because of him, we aren't going to bring you in. Be grateful.

Sheska flinched. This was getting out of hand, fast. She froze, thinking. She alchemist was moody, and clearly knew the right buttons to press...Should she knock her out again? She had more then enough powder, but there was no way she'd be able to move the state alchemist without rasing an eyebrow. Fine. Fishing her satchel, Sheska pulled out one of the girls gloves and flung it at her, motioning to put the chair down.
"Sorry sir!" She called, pitching her voice up like she had when she had talked to him earlier. "I'll make sure it won't happen again!" She shot the girl a warning glance. I don't like to kill the people I capture, but I will if I have to. So let's be friends, hm?

Garnet hops out and blasts her with enough forceful water to blast her down. Within an instant she was next to the girl, tightly bounding her wrists. "I get it. My mother died when I was two and I would do anything to see her again. But you can't kidnap the fürher's daughter." She snarls, taking her bag. "You're gonna be away for a while, baby girl." She hisses, having crazy eyes. She then puffs Sheska with her sleeping powder shit and grumbles, finally putting on her ignition glove

The mother struggled a bit, used to the sleeping powder by now since she figured this day would come, but still felt it's effects pull on her eyelids. With a grunt, she let herself go limp, feeling the tightness of the restraints. Damn military dogs, all of you are the same. No compassion, just testosterone. I'll burn you. Garnet lifts her up over her shoulder and promptly carrying her to her fathers office. Garnet burst in and throws her on the couch. "Daddy!" She shouts quickly before whining like a child. "She kidnapped me!" She whimpers, before standing up straight. "I also might have a clue for Moroi's disappearance!" She says proudly. "Wouldn't momma be proud of me?!" She asks, hopping on his desk. Barley squinting, Sheska could see the hallmarks of an office through her eyelashes. Daddy? Mommy? Geez of all the people I had to kidnap, it had to be the moody teenager with alchemy.Though this 'clue for Moroni's dissapearence' did not sound good. Should she leave? Her attieon flicked down to her ropes. Would they see? She couldn't tell where the people were in this room, and she didn't know how to talk her way out of this. Giving herself sometime, Sheska kept still an listened.

The splash of water rushed Silas's old heard into sudden motion. Quickly flicking at keys, the old keeper found the right key to the door and unlocked it. Inside, he found the room soaked, and no people inside. The window was open. He sighed, considering asking for that alchemist boy's help, but deciding it wasn't worth the trouble of tracking him down. This only confirmed his suspicions that the 'friend' looked awkwardly like the Colonel Mustang. He closed the window, walking out of the room before closing and locking the door. He'd take care of it tomorrow. He had guests to pacify.

Garnet shifts and cracks almost every bone in her body. "Uh, f*ck. being 26 does things to your body." She says gently. "She was walking by the river banks." She states, sighing gently. "Other than that, this one is the mother of little Chris that went missing a few days ago. The last thing I remember was snapping at her but I don't think I got her." She murmurs softly. "Oh ohh!! Guess what tomorrow is!" Garnet says excitedly, her eyes shimmering brightly. She gets off his desk to pet old Reggie, kissing the old and fat German shepherd.
