James yawned and grabbed another coffee. He noticed Romana on her own. "You ok?"

Romana watched him "no. You talk about momma instead of talking to her to see what wrong. Why?"she asked curiously

James narrowed his eyes at her and scoffed. "I've tried to, its her fault if she chooses not to listen."

"Yet I try and it's easy?"she shook her head and wheeled away not wanting anything to do with this.

Rebecca remembered there conversation. About him getting drunk all the time to function. He had left that morning with no say in where he was. She had been worried sick. Rebecca was experiencing anger. And hurt. And stayed sitting on the steps

Rebecca focused more on herself. She tried to keep in a routine. She didn't sleep anymore she wasn't welcome. James had forgotten that a few days of not drinking didn't mean he had left it all behind in the 'past' so the next few days Rebecca was the mother the roommate and at night she was the ghost

James never stopped working. Everyone and awhile. He'd break at the gym or bar.
