    Maria looked up at Corcus. (Poppy was still crying) "Oh, hello," said Maria shyly. She put her gaze towards her paws and scuffed the dirt.

    "Poor thing." Crocus mewed to Poppy. "I refused to kill anything until I was ten moons old." She shivered. "I still don't like it." She looked at the two of them. "I hear there's a clan of sorts here. I came here to raise my kits in a safe place."

    Poppy nodded to Cronus in respect. She put the little mouse down and buried it. But then she felt sad for covering it in both memory and physicality. She sucked in her breath and sighed. "No, I'm fine. It'll be ok," she said half to herself. Maria looked at her friend. She sighed. "Come on Poppy," she said.

    Maria pionted to the south. "Just that way. We came from there just a minute ago so your not far," she said.

    "Maria nodded goodbye and she and Poppy set off into the woods. Maria sung Deer in the headlights all the way.


    "Met a guy in the parking lot and all I said was hello
    His pepper spray made it hard to walk on home
    But I geuss that's the way it goes when your a deer in the headlights


    Met again in the cemtary by black eye and bloody nose!
    would you tell me if it was love at first sight when I walked by you caught my eye
    wouldn't you know love could shine this bright..."

    Poppy flew down and pulled out the thron. "There," she said. "All better."
