Akasuki learned that she had the powers of water alchemy when she and her father were playing around. Ever since then, she's been training hard to be in the military and help protect people. She was first stationed up North with Olivier Armstrong, and the two females began to bond. They both have a strong friendship together and are almost best friends. Akasuki has also helped the Elric brothers while searching for the Philosopher's Stone. Though expectations of her being calm like a lazy river at a water park, she is constantly angry and has a small temper. She will hurt you if you piss her off. A few months after she started working in the North, she got a letter signifying that she is being stationed in Central, and must leave in about a week or two.
Now, being in central (and also being promoted to a colonial), she has been working hard on the stacks of paperwork she has been assigned. She took off the jacket of her uniform and is in half uniform; as she prefers to be in, and walks down the hall with a book in her arms. She has her dreaded hair in a half up half down style, so her dreads weren't falling in her face while she was working. She had never met colonial Mustang in her life, but Edward had stopped by and didn't want to see him for himself, so Akasuki said she'd go tell Roy whatever Edward needed to say. All Ed did was give her a book and leave. Akasuki knocks on Roy's door. "Colonial Mustang? The Fullmetal Alchemist stopped by and told me to deliver this to you." She says in a soothing voice. She walks to his desk and hands him the book, obviously hiding a note inside of the pages.
