They were lucky to get as much peaceful uninterrupted time as they were. She knew that soon they wouldn’t be able to have many moments like this. So Mia cuddled closer and enjoyed the feel of getting to lay next to him under the stars by the beach. And it was extremely romantic, so Mia wasn’t about to waste a second of it. “The next time she asks, you go. Let me be come but stay backstage, just because I’d love to meet her,” she laughed, and started tracing shapes with her fingers on his chest. “I think I’ll be okay,” she said with a sigh. “I’m actually curious to see what kind of wild and overexaggerated stories they’ll come up with about us,” she said, laughing a bit to herself. “Paparazzi and the media go too overboard sometimes,”

Chris sighed and went back to looking up at the stars, but he closed his eyes when he felt her fingers begin to trace shapes on his chest, it was very comforting. Everything about this night was comforting really when he thought about it. He hadn’t had a girlfriend in quite some time, and it felt really good honestly to have someone again. “They just want a good story.” He said with a laugh, “But if you ask me, I think our story is good enough as is, I don’t think they’ll change it too much. They might add a jealous ex lover or two but other than that, I think we’re good.” He joked.
-
Mia nodded. “Our story is pretty romantic,” she said. “You know, our first kiss, I think about that a lot,” she admitted, “It was so spontaneous and...I don’t think i’ve ever had a kiss that magical before,” she didn’t really know how else to describe the feeling of that night. It had been unreal. She then pulled away from him, sitting up, and then she tugged her dress over her head to reveal her bathingsuit. She stood up as well and then offered he hands to help him up to his feet. “Let’s go see if the water is warm enough to swim in,” she suggested.
-
Chris began to think about their first kiss the moment she had brought it up. She was right of course, it had been so spontaneous, he hadn’t seen it coming and he was the one that initiated it! He grinned at the thought and opened his eyes finally. “It was pretty amazing.” He admitted. “I had wanted to kiss you all night, I was going to when we were at the fountain but we were interrupted.” He said with a chuckle before reaching his hands out and letting her help him up when she stood. He grabbed onto her hand then as they walked toward the water, only letting it cover their feet to start since it was a little chilly, but if they waded in slowly they would definitely get used to it. “Not too bad, I’ll just have to keep you close so you can keep me warm.”
-
Mia nodded. “I had been a little nervous but I’d hoped you were going to kiss me at the fountain,” she admitted. “But that phone rang,” she glanced up once he was standing again, laughing. “That’s when our bad luck with interruptions started,” she joked, and then held onto his hand as they walked towards the water. She hesitated when her feet hit the water but then she got used to it. “I have no issues keeping close,” she stated, then started pulling him in deeper towards the water. “Come on,” she tried kicking the water up to him
-
“Well there are no interruptions tonight.” He said with a grin as they waded in further, until she started to kick the water up at him. He just shot her a playful smile and shook his head. “I don’t think you want to start this with me...it’s not going to end well.” He said as he pulled her closer to him, this way she wouldn’t be able to continue with her efforts, also they were almost up to their waists by now and having her close was helping him stay warm and get used to the somewhat chilly water surrounding them.
-
Mia quickly tried to shush him. “Shh! Don’t jinx it! Now someone’s bound to interrupt,” she stuck out her tongue, planning on trying to splash him again until he pulled her close to him so he could be warm and prevent her attacks. “Oh come on Chris, don’t be such a baby,” she did stay hanging onto him, trying to use her whole body to drag him into the water. Mia then tried to pull herself away a bit so she could just dip in and get the shock of the cold over with. “Let me go please,”
-
“There’s nobody else on the beach!” He protested at her accusing him of jinxing the situation. He laughed as she then apparently tried to splash him again, but when she couldn’t, she used her body weight instead, though still without any success. It was clear that she just wanted to get everything over with and get used to the water that way, so instead of letting her go as requested, Chris lifted her out of the water and into his arms. “Just remember, you wanted this.” He said, taking a couple steps further into the water so it was just about up to his waist, and then he dunked them both underneath the surface.
-
“Yet! Someone could show up,” Mia argued back just for the sake of being annoying. She liked the play-fighting, It was funny. When he lifted her into his arms she was a little confused, even more so at his words, and then before she knew it he had dunked them both in the water. When they came back up, Mia covered her mouth as she was laughing and coughing. “Some of it got in my mouth, gross,” she leaned to the side a bit to keep coughing and not on him. But then she sucked in a breath and punched his chest. “That was not much of a warning,” she started shivering a bit, and then wrapped herself closer to him. “It’s not that bad,”
-
Chris laughed and turned to the side slightly to lessen the blow of her punch as he laughed. They were both wet now from head to toe and he was definitely used to the water temperature. “I tried to warn you.” He teased a she stood close and now just wrapped a singular arm around her waist under the water. “It would be much colder if I didn’t have you here keeping me warm.” He added to her statement with a grin. He leaned forward a bit and brushed his lips against hers gently. “I’m just really glad you’re here with me this weekend, I think it’s a nice way to start off our relationship.” He said a bit more seriously. “At least before we both get crazy busy with work.”
-
“You tried, but I didn’t get enough time to protest,” Mia glared playfully at him. She snorted at him saying she was keeping him warm. “I just Also happen to be using you for warmth, but if I wasn’t cold, I’d be out and about swimming, splashing you,” she ran her hands along his arms, liking the feel of his muscles. She tried to lean into him more, his lips just barely brushing hers, but then he spoke up on them and their relationship. She wasn’t going to ever get tired of hearing that, getting to call him hers now.
“My job isn’t that busy, you’re the busy one being famous and all,” Mia teased, “But this only means getting to see each other when we can will be much more romantic,” she kissed his nose, then his cheeks, then the corner of his mouth.
-
Chris just leaned into her as she placed light kisses all over his face. It was nice, and it reminded him that they really were a real couple now and he liked that. “You’ll have your fair share of being busy. Working on movie and TV sets isn’t a walk in the park.” He said with a grin as he lifted a hand and let it rest gently against her cheek. “But you’re also right about me, I’m going to be really busy once I get back home...especially with this new album they expect me to finish before next summer. But I promise,” he started to say. “I’ll make time for you Alright?”
-
Mia shrugged. “It’s not that bad. This time around everyone is really nice,” she turned his head to kiss his palm when he put it on her face, and then she leaned into his hand. She nodded though, understanding him when he said he had a lot to do making the new album. “Well if you need any help with the music I am available. No charge for me either, I prefer to be paid with affection,” she was joking about helping with the music, she’d rather be surprised when hearing what he ended up coming up with. Mia felt a surge of happiness when he promised to make time for her. “I can work with that,” she leaned in to kiss him properly this time.
-
“Well, you’ve already helped with that new song I’ve been working on.” Chris said with a grin. “Maybe I’ll have to bring you back to the studio when it’s finished to get your approval.” He then felt her lips graze the palm of his hand and he was filled with a sudden surge of affection for her. How was it possible that he had already fallen so hard for her? They had barely spent a full 24 hours together and now they were a couple. Part of him thought it was a good sign, but another part of him worried things might have been going a bit fast, though he wasn’t about to step on the breaks yet. She began to lean into him then, clearly searching for a proper kiss, and he was more than willing to oblige. So he leaned in and closed the distance between them, pressing his lips to hers.
-
“Wait are you using what I showed you?” Mia asked, thinking that it probably would have been scrapped. “I’d love to hear the final version,” she nodded in agreement, staring at him for a while, he seemed a bit lost in thought too. She was just amazed at herself for getting so close to him so quickly, when she’d had walls up for years. How did he break them? Or why did she let him in? Mia though couldn’t deny these feelings, and it seemed worth the risk of getting hurt. A small sigh escaped her when his lips met hers, and she immediately went to thread her hands through his hair, pressing closer, as close as she could. Mia hadn’t mean this to be a long kiss, but she wasn’t sure she was going to be able to pull apart.
-
He wanted to keep it a secret for the most part, that he was planning on using the bit of Melody they had created together in his new song. He wanted her to hear the song and realize on her own what she had done, so when she asked about it he just shrugged his shoulders, not wanting to give it away. When their lips finally did touch and he felt her fingers threading in his hair he let out a content sigh, deciding that he never wanted this moment to end, with them standing in the cool water of the ocean and stuck in a heated kiss. He didn’t want to pull away. But out of the corner of his eye he saw a flash, and when he pulled away to look he wasn’t surprised to see someone standing on the beach with a camera. Some paparazzi he assumed. He turned them so that their faces were somewhat hidden and he laughed a bit. “Looks like we’re being interrupted yet again.”
-
Mia gave him a pout when he merely shrugged and didn’t answer her question. Guess she wasn’t going to know until she heard it when it came out. Anyways, their kiss ended up being much more passionate and heated than she expected, but now was she going to stop? Heck no. Unfortunately Chris pulled away, and then shifted them slightly so they couldn’t see their faces. She sighed and leaned her forehead on his chest before glancing up at him. “Guess my anonymity is over,” she laughed, and then glanced up at him. “We won’t be interrupted in the hotel room,” she pointed out with a raised eyebrow. However she would like to spend more time out here with him, but unfortunately the paparazzi now would probably be hovering the whole time.
-
She was mostly right, the only way they would have privacy now that the paparazzi knew where he would be this weekend, was the hotel room. He laughed a bit, “Unless you decide to ask for more blankets again, I think you might be right.” He kissed her one more time, “Yeah, youve been spotted. No going back now.” He glanced over his shoulder for a second and let out a sigh. “I was hoping to spend some more time out here with you, but we should really get inside before the mob shows up. If we wait too long we’ll never make it to safety.” He joked.
-
“I am definitely not asking for more blankets. If anyone knocks on that door, we’re not answering,” Mia laughed and kissed him back. “I mean, I had no reservations in the first place, so I’m in it,” she shrugged, standing on her tip toes to peek at the camera guy again. “It’s okay, but you’re right, let’s book it,” she reluctantly backed away and then splashed him one more time before making her way back to the shore, though she waited for him before walking on the beach
-
“Agreed.” Chris said with a laugh, there was no way he would be opening that hotel room door for anybody. All he wanted was a moment alone with his girlfriend, was it really too much to ask for? He followed after her and once their feet touched the sand on the beach, they picked up their pace, running slightly over to their blanket andpile of clothes. The man who had been taking pictures of them didn’t stop, and he only seemed to be getting closer, trying to get the perfect shot. Chris just shrugged on his shirt as fast as he could and helped Mia gather their things, then they began to run for the hotel.
