Many seasons ago, a lonely rouge discovered this beach and the surplus of food and shelter that it harbored. He settled here and soon met a beautiful she-cat who lived in the nearby forest. Together they formed a family and lived peacefully. It didn't take long before other rogues and loners heard of the news. They too wanted a peaceful life and joined the two cats on the beach. In order to keep peace with the rouges, the tom formed Tidalclan. He created a code for the cats to live by and so created a wonderful way of life.

It's present day and you're sleeping in the warrior's den. Perhaps you've lived in Tidalclan your entire life. Perhaps you just arrived. Either way, your life is about to change forever. The ocean is stirring; winds are fierce, waves are crashing, and cats are uneasy. A once peaceful ally will rage and bring destruction upon TidalClan. How will the cats survive this?

The territory is made up of grassy plains, wooded highlands, and long expanses of beach. The apprentices train in all areas of the territory in order to be prepared for anything that can be thrown at them. Their camp is located in a large cavern on the beach just feet from the peaceful ocean. Inside of the cavern, small dens branch off for the separate ranks of the clan. Nearest to the front of the entrance is the warriors den and the nursery is located at the back with the other dens nestled between them.

All of the cats are taught how to swim during their apprentice training and fishing is a major source of food for the clan. The cats balance calmly on rocks jutting out of the ocean and swipe fish straight out of the water. They also search the beach for crabs, seagulls, and other ocean life. Mice, squirrels, shrews and the like can be found on in the highlands and, although they are less common, they still make for a tasty meal.

TidalClan strongly believes in their warrior ancestors. On the night of the full moon, the medicine cats and their apprentices visit the Moon Pool - a tide pool sitting in a rocky bed where the crystal clear water reflects the moon. Here the medicine cats share news and prophecies with StarClan.

Recap:
A few of the apprentices have snuck out of camp (Raypaw, Salmonpaw, Beetlepaw, and Clearpaw) and have encountered an injured seal. There is a boarder patrol marking the Shineclan boarder since there has been news of rouges plaguing Shineclan (Reefsplash, Sunblaze, Crabclaw, Ebonypaw, and Skypaw). Other than that cats are either training their apprentices or chatting around camp. The deputy, Brightshell, might set up a search party for the missing apprentices soon.

Basic Information.
Name: Reefsplash

Appearance.

Appearance Description: Reefsplash is a long furred tabby she-cat. Her base coat is a soft warm grey with hints of brown and her stripes are dark black. Her stripes start off very strong around her face and legs, but blend into a mottled fade along her sides and back. The stripes on her face are broken up by a striking white blaze that leads down her chin. However, a few stripes managed to pierce through the white and are visible on the right side of her dark pink nose. The white that travels down her neck also reaches around and encompasses her neck completely. It then continues on to her underbelly where it finally ends at the base of her tail. The aforementioned tail is mottled much like her body - with barley distinguishable stripes - and is tipped in a dusty black. Reefsplash's tiny paws are also a striking white and the sudden stop of stripes makes them stand out even more.

Her eyes are almond shaped and rimmed in black. The color is a pale green - almost blue - which look ghostly and intriguing. The ears atop her head sit widely apart, giving her a relaxed expression, and the edges are uneven telling the tails of her many battles against enemies like foxes, badgers, and other cats. The she-cat's build is muscled - proof of her hard work in the clan - but her long fur makes her look slightly pudgy. Get her wet and you'll see how slender she truly is. Her legs are short, making her not much larger than an apprentice, and she has to walk at a brisk pace in order to keep up with her longer legged clanmates.

Personality.

Personality Description: Reefsplash is a kind she-cat with a big heart and a mind for adventure. She can often be found mingling with her clanmates or joining a patrol. She is never one to sit in camp and complain, preferring to be actively involved in the clan. If any bit of news or gossip is given to her she likes to go directly to the source and handle things first hand. She tries to stay very involved in her clanmates lives in order to keep the peace. She is known for making mistakes that more experienced warriors may not make and she gives too many second chances. She spends most of her time hunting for the clan and is always the last one to eat. Reefsplash tries to stay positive, and so holds her negative feelings inside, but that can lead to outburst over small things and emotional breakdowns in her private time. One day she wishes to be leader, but she knows she is not ready just yet. She has trouble making tough decisions and finds it nearly impossible to say no to others. This can lead her to be over worked, stressed, and tired when she has too many things going on at once. At times like these she can become sluggish and her busy mind keeps her from sleeping. If she becomes too stressed, she can snap at cats for asking the most simple of requests.

History.

History Description: Reefsplash grew up in the clan and had a normal history beside her denmates. From an early age she longed to fit in, and so she developed her need to please. She wanted to make others happy, and this sometimes lead to her being used by her more lazy clanmates. She didn't mind much because it encouraged her to get involved in clan life and it making others happy made her happy too.

Name: Raypaw

Appearance.

Appearance Description:

Raypaw is a short furred tom with a mottled brown and white pelt. His base coat is a stark clean white splattered with light brown splotches throughout his body. The splotches on his face, however, are much darker - starting at his black nose and getting lighter as they spread. He has high white "socks" on all four paws, but he has two brown toes on his front right foot. The tom's neck and underbelly are the same bright white as his base coat an it leads all the way down to the base of his mostly brown tail. His fur is soft and always immaculately groomed giving it a sleek and shiny appearance.

Raypaw's eyes are bright crystal blue and they shimmer in the sun. They are quite round, giving him a curious and inquisitive look. The whiskers around his maw are very long and full and he often twitches them when he is frustrated. His legs are long and slender making him lanky and gangly looking. His long legs also make him a bit clumsy.

Personality.

Personality Description: Raypaw is what some would call.. a curious character. He has OCD. He believes that if everything isn't in its exact place something bad will happen and everything has to be in it's place before he can carry on with any duties he has planned. He only eats crabs and if there isn't a crab on the kill pile he will catch one himself and eat it. But only after he washes it thoroughly. He grooms his fur every single morning until every hair is lying flat. Fortunately he isn't bothered by other cats' appearances, just his own. Underneath all of this, he is very determined to get past his illness and train like the other warrior apprentices. He is often late because of his need for things to be perfect but when he does arrive he is ready for action. When he is having a bad day (meaning his OCD is very strong) he can become very frustrated, ill-tempered, and reclusive. Every night before bed, he places four shells in a line with one shell slightly crooked. He stares at these shells until he cannot take it anymore and fixes the crooked shell. He hopes to one day go to bed without having to touch the crooked shell and each night he is able to withstand fixing it for a longer and longer amount of time.

History.

History Description: Raypaw was the only kit of two to survive birth. His parents grieved for his sister for a long time after her death and this caused Raypaw to have a very realistic outlook on life. Either you survived or you didn't. When Raypaw was 7 moons old both of his parents were killed by orcas. He began to believe that certain items being misplaced or out of order brought bad luck. His OCD stemmed from this and it eventually became so strong that he even felt that cats would die because of these misplaced items. He now realizes that this way of thinking is not true, but his OCD is too advanced for him to just stop. So each night he tries to wean himself off of his OCD tendencies.

Appearance Description: Tadpole is a slim silver tabby with ticked tabby markings. He has a long tail with long limbs to match. He has a very bold patch of white on his belly and four legs which provide a unique contrast to his shady silver coat. He also has some white around his muzzle that goes up to the center of his forehead. He has short, leaf-shaped ears. Tadpole's more unique appearance is his sectoral heterochromia. He has blue eyes with green flecks that cover the pupil at the bottom.

PERSONALITY.

Personality Description: Tadpole is an outspoken and assertive character who enjoys the company of others although can be easily annoyed with characters that are energetic or simply ask to many questions. He is creative, a perk to being a medicine cat, and resourceful. His resourcefulness has saved many lives in his line of work. Tadpole is also intellectually quick. He is good at understanding a broad range of topics and enjoys the debating of particular issues. He can provide good insight to an enemy's plans, finding himself able to easily put himself in different predicaments. He is talented in presentation and is excited to share new ideas and projects, although is known to neglect routine aspects of clan life as a result. He is a risk-taker, thrill-seeker, and rule-breaker - all traits he inherited as his time as a warrior. (as well as the assertiveness) Tadpole is mostly comfortable in unfamiliar situations or uncomfortable and appreciates the strangeness and counterculture of other characters. He is adaptable, impulsive, and carefree. A young medicine cat, he finds teaching a nuisance although seems to be able to easily teach material. He is not easily offended, and fearless in the presence of danger. Numerous times, Tadpole takes a warrior's stance on issues and often volunteers to fight when he can. He is a dangerous character with little to lose and Improviser, making him an even more formidable foe.

HISTORY.

History Description: Tadpole had a normal childhood living in TidalClan. He was a warrior apprentice until he reached ten [10] moons when he was approached by the Clan's then-medicine cat. He became a medicine cat after being pursued for several weeks. Tadpole quickly grew into the rank for his resourcefulness and has been one flourishing since.

Appearance Description: Redsturgeon is a muscular red tabby tom with white on the underside of his body. He has soft, green eyes and a rosy-pink nose to match to his soft personality. He often has sand in his fur, from his long hours laying on the coast, but his fur always seems to be soft to the touch. After his namesake, Redsturgeon's tail has fleck of silver, giving it a shimmer when it moves.

PERSONALITY.

Personality Description: Redsturgeon is a character known for his fearlessness. His fearlessness, however, is not of war or getting into trouble. It is off the trival things. Big waves do not make him tremble in terror. New events quickly become dull. Scary stories are not scary. Scary noises in the woods are squirrels even if they aren't. He is bombproof. With his laidback nature, Redsturgeon is also somewhat of a dork. He is clumsy in alot of ways to tripping over unseen objects or running into trees trying to catch up with his friends. It makes for some pretty funny scenes. Redsturgeon is somewhat of an idealist. He has a list of traditions and laws that he follows strictly, by the book, and doesn't fall very far from. However, there are moments (mostly when it comes to friends and family) that'll get him to break rank and do something completely out of his traditions and laws. He is more of a follower, but only seems to follow those that show little fear and follow closely to his ideals. Redsturgeon trusts his instincts above all, and in some ways, can be noted to be impulsive for following them in a heartbeat.

HISTORY.

History Description: Redsturgeon was born to a kittypet named May and a TidalClan warrior, Hawkflight. He grew up with a warrior name, Redkit, although he lived with his mother in a Twolegplace for several months. Living on boats and the shore for much of her life, May wanted her kitten to grow up with similar interests. However, when Redsturgeon's father came to take him to the clan, May obligated. Redkit, from six [6] mooons old, grew up as an apprentice in TidalClan. When it came to becoming a warrior, his mother pleaded for Redkit to be named after a fish that she used to see on her trips on the ocean for the first time after being without her son. After agreeing to the term, Redpaw became Redsturgeon and his mother disappeared.

History Description: Beachstar was born with a brother and sister to a pair of loving cats. He lived happily with his family for moons. One day when he was a young cat, his father was caught in a current while fishing and he was never seen again. The family recovered from the loss of Tide and went on with their lives. His little sister began to be friendly with some humans and she went to live with them and his brother wandered the beaches with his mother. When Beach ran into a group of cats that lived together on the beach, he decided to join them and never left. He eventually rose to become the current leader of the clan.

Slightly Unprofessional This is a remake and in the old thread, Clockworkstar played the deputy and she did post before you.. if she doesn't want the position of deputy you can totally have it! The deputy loses their rank soon after the roleplay starts so im not sure if you still want the position. If not (or if Clockworkstar wants the position) you can be the deputy once my cat, Reefsplash, becomes leader which will happen right after the flood plot.
