"Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. My sister and I grew up listening to stories about the Avatars and their group of friends who did everything they could to maintain peace. Avatar Aang managed to stop the Fire Nation from disturbing the balance by overpowering themselves. Avatar Korra brought the human world and the spirit world together, making the world more harmonious. Avatar Xing Wu was able to stop the Earth Kingdom from taking over and enslaving the rest of the population. Every Avatar, since the very beginning, had achieved something great, and each achievement had a large impact on the world, changing it for the better...or at least it is supposed to..."

Plot

It has been 16 years since Avatar Xing Wu had died. His death officially ended the war against the Earth Kingdom, which lasted for almost 50 years. After the war had ended everyone hoped that the world would finally enter into a long era of peace and prosperity. Everything appeared to be going well. The nations were helping one another. The Earth Kingdom strove to redeem itself by sharing resources, assisting in reconstruction, introducing new technology, etc. Even the poorest towns were receiving aid, and their conditions began to improve within a few years. However, three years after the war an underground society grew in power and number. The group is called the Purple Lotus, and they were rivals of the Order of the White Lotus. During the war, the two orders united under the Avatar to fight off the Earth Kingdom. Despite fighting together, the two societies were extremely different. The Order of the White Lotus was devoted to knowledge. The members believed in the sharing of knowledge in spite of political and national divisions. The Order of the Purple Lotus, on the other hand, was more concerned about forming an army of benders from each nation. This society lives for battles and glory. Members of the Purple Lotus are taken away from their families at a young age to train. The training turns these benders into obedient and cold-blooded soldiers. Their only goal is to achieve whatever mission they are given by the head of the order. After Xing Wu's death, the leader of the Purple Lotus, Feng, took the opportunity to increase the order's significance and power. He achieved this by winning the presidential election in Republic City, granting him the freedom to officially expand the Purple Lotus. Afterwards, he eliminated prominent members of the White Lotus by framing them for a multitude of crimes. The remaining members of the White Lotus disappeared overnight, trying to escape from the same fate. With the White Lotus out of the way, Feng has even more freedom to increase his order's influence. Feng's army grew, becoming almost as large as the Earth Kingdom's and Fire Nation's army combined. The number of children taken away from their homes increases with each passing year, and no one knows who to turn to for help. The only person who could put a stop to all of this is the Avatar, but he/she has not been seen for 16 years. Members of the White Lotus who still have hope continue to search for him/her. Without the Avatar, there is no way to stop Feng.

Settings

The Water Tribes

The entirety of the Water Nation is made up of the great Northern and the Southern Water Tribes. After Avatar Aang's victory against Fire Lord Ozai, the population of the Southern Water Tribe greatly increased due to people from the sister tribe in the north moved down to help rebuild. The two tribes are made up of multiple clans, or groups of families. The chief is no longer the sole ruler of the water tribes. He or she is assisted by the head of each clan, and together they form a committee that determines the layout of the tribes. Each clan has a symbol or physical characteristic that determines them from each other. For instance, the Iraluq Clan are known to have dark purple eyes, and their symbol consists of the moon spirit, Tui. When the chief dies either his or her child takes their place or, if the child is not 18 years or older, then one of the clans heads is elected. Arranged marriages are no longer practiced among the common folk (an ancient custom that Katara had fought against); however, children of the clan heads are usually betrothed to each other or the heir of the chiefdom as a way to build alliances or gain more power. For the most part gender roles in the tribes have improved since the time of Avatar Aang. The Northern Water Tribe, in particular, is no longer as patriarchal as it used to be. All waterbenders are now required to learn how to fight and heal (another change that Katara pushed for).

The Fire Nation

The Fire Nation had greatly redeemed itself after all of the pain and destruction it caused during the Hundred Year War. Fire Lord Zuko made sure correct all of his father's, grandfather's, and great-grandfather's wrongdoings. The Fire Lord is still the sole ruler for the nation; however, he or she usually has a committee of advisors who is assigned to each town/city in the Fire Nation. The people of this nation have worked hard to rid themselves of the stigma that surrounds them since the time of Avatar Aang. Unfortunately for them, Feng is of Fire Nation descent. Despite having someone like Feng representing it, the Fire Nation continues to reach out to other nations during a time of need. During the war against the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation was one of the first ones to help Avatar Xing Wu. Now that Xing Wu is dead all eyes have turned towards the Fire Nation since the next Avatar, according to the cycle, is supposed to be a firebender.

The Earth Kingdom

The Earth Kingdom has always been a proud nation. The layout of this nation is quite similar to the Fire Nation's. It is made up of multiple towns and smaller kingdoms that all report to the Earth King. Out of all the nations the Earth Kingdom has been the most adamant about preserving their traditions that date back to ancient times. However, the influence of the Earth King has diminished tremendously throughout each generation. At this moment the Earth King is mainly just a figure head that represents the culture of the nation. After the 50 Year War against the Avatar and the other nations, the Earth Kingdom has worked hard to redeem itself. It is considered to be the most technologically advanced nation. The ending of the war has introduced an era of rapid modernization.

The Air Nation

During the time of Avatar Aang, the Air Nation was for the most part extinct. Fire Lord Sozin wiped out the air nomads as an attempt to prevent the Avatar from stopping him. As an adult Avatar Aang was constantly worrying about how to bring back the Air Nation. This was a concern that he later passed on to his youngest son, Tenzin. Avatar Korra was the one who solved the issue. Many people developed airbending skills when she opened up the spirit world to the human world. Tenzin and his children took up the job of teaching all of these new airbenders, and as time passed by the population of airbenders increased along with their significance. The Air Temples were reconstructed and returned to their former glory. However, not all of the ancient traditions were restored. For instance, airbenders are no longer referred to as air nomads nor monks. The Air Nation is now more prominent and involved in the world's events than it was before Avatar Aang.

Republic City

Republic City is the capital of the United Republic of Nations, a sovereign state founded by Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Zuko. The population is made up of a variety of immigrants from all across the four nations. The state is ruled by the President, who is elected by the people. The President must work closely with the leaders of the other nations in order to maintain peace and prosperity within the state and improve its relationship with the other nations. Republic City is famous for being a modern urban center. During the time of Avatar Korra, the people were already using automobiles, motorcycles, and airships. Today, all of those inventions have been greatly improved. People are now seen driving all different types of automobiles with enhanced features. The city's metalbending police force continues to keep the city's streets and inhabitants safe from criminals and civil unrest. Despite all of the changes and modernization occurring in the other nations, Republic City continues to outshine them.

Appearance: Hasumi has a slender but toned build due to the training she endured when she was younger. She is approximately 5 ft. 6 in. and weighs 115 lbs. Her hair is a reddish brown and falls down to her mid-back and a lot of baby hairs that tend to fall in front of her eyes, causing her to constantly pull the top half of her hair back. She is usually seen wearing her hair in a braid, ponytail, or a half up half down hairstyle. Like most members of the Water Tribes her skin is tanned. However, what distinguishes her from the majority of the tribe are her dark purple eyes, which indicate that she is part of the Iraluq Clan (from her mother's side). Her eyes are definitely her most striking feature due to the fact that they are large and somewhat almond-shaped (but the edges are a little rounder than normal). The rest of her features are fairly small. She has what one would call a "button nose" and a little mouth (but don't let that fool you because that little mouth is capable of saying witty comebacks in less than a second). Despite the fact that she is no longer living among her people, Hasumi continues to wear the colors of her nation. She is often seen wearing a lot of off-the-shoulder tops with blue pants and long brown boots. Due to an injury she sustained while training under the Purple Lotus she often covers her hands and forearms to hide the scarring.

Personality:

Realistic

Hasumi is certainly a realist, which sometimes makes her sound like a pessimist. Her sister is notorious for coming up with the craziest ideas to get out of a situation and Hasumi is always the first one to list all the reasons why her "master plan" will not work. This is the reason why her sister refers to her as a pessimist, but that could not be anymore untrue. Hasumi tries to look on the bright side of things, but she absolutely hates the feeling of disappointment, which is why she tries to lower the expectations of others. On the outside she appears as though she has given up all hope on taking down the Purple Lotus, but deep down inside of her there is still a glimmer of hope that there is still a chance that the society will fall. She often dreams about helping the Avatar fight against the Purple Lotus, but that is something she keeps to herself.

Overprotective

Hasumi is extremely protective when it comes to those she deeply cares about. She is constantly seen fretting over the well-being of her sister even though she knows that Ming can take care of herself perfectly fine. In fact, Ming is the better healer out of the two of them. Nevertheless, Hasumi cannot even bear the thought of something happening to her sister. Unfortunately, being overprotective can make her pretty reckless at times. She is definitely the type of person who would risk her life if it meant saving someone she loves.

Selfless

It is possible to be too selfless, and Hasumi is one of those people who needs to learn that sometimes it is okay to put yourself before others. Hasumi is so selfless that she tends to constantly put the well-being of others before herself, which often gets her scolded by her sister. There is nothing wrong with being incredibly selfless, but when it becomes detrimental to your well-being than it can become a bit of a problem. Hasumi is the type of person who will try to take over a situation, so that the person dealing with it beforehand no longer has to suffer from it.

Distrustful

One severe flaw in Hasumi's character is her distrustfulness. If one were to point it out to her she would simply shrug and claim that it is the reason her an her sister have survived for so long on their own. In sense she is right. One cannot be too trusting unless they want a knife in their back. However, her extreme distrustfulness tends to prevent her from becoming close to anyone besides her sister. The reason she is so distrustful is because opening up makes her feel extremely vulnerable. The last thing she wants is for someone to use her own fears and insecurities against her.

Precious Items: Hasumi's most precious item is a betrothal necklace she received when she was 7 years old. However, it is only precious to her because it is one of the few items from home that she currently has. Overall, the necklace has a simple design. It is merely a pendant attached to a blue ribbon. The pendant contains a carved drawing of a crescent moon and waves to symbolize a union between a member of the Iraluq and the Qar Clans.

Scars/Body Modifications: Hasumi's hands and forearms are laced with burn scars that she received during her time with the Purple Lotus. That is why she is constantly covering them up with bandages, arm bands, or random pieces of cloth.

History:

Hasumi was born in the year 324 AG (the same year Avatar Xing Wu died) in the Northern Water Tribe. Her mother, Akna, is of the Iraluq Clan while her father, Nanuq, is of the Kangu Clan. Her grandfather, Nanouk, is currently the head of the Kangu Clan, earning him a place in the chief's committee. At the age of 5 she discovered her waterbending abilities and immediately wanted to begin training to become a powerful waterbender like Katara and Korra. Everyday she would wake up early to practice by the shore, improving little by little. Her parents took great pride in her and her sister's abilities and tried to assist them in any way they can (especially their father despite being a non-bender). Nanouk saw his granddaughters' talents as an opportunity to increase his power and significance in the tribe. When Hasumi turned 7, he arranged for her to marry Koda, the son of the current chief (who is of the Qar Clan). The marriage is to take place when they both turn 18 years old.

At the age of 8, Hasumi and her sister were kidnapped by members of the Purple Lotus who were specifically sent to abduct young benders. They were taken to one of the Purple Lotus' secret headquarters in the North Pole where they were made into child soldiers. After spending four years at the North Pole facility, the twins were transferred to the one in Republic City for the next level of training. The moment the twins made it to Republic City they were separated from each other. Hasumi was placed in a group called "the Gifted". That was when she met Lee. He is the reason why Hasumi is such a strong bloodbender today, but he had caused her so much suffering. She was forced to practice night and day. He first made her practice on animals and it eventually escalated to live humans. Other abducted children were brought before her and she was told to bloodbend them. If she refused, then she had to suffer through her master's excruciatingly painful version of bloodbending as her form of punishment for disobeying. Sparring was another form of training that Lee took great pleasure in. This was not your typical sparring match where the fighters are supposed to hold back their punches. Lee's version of sparring consisted of the fighters going at each other with the intent to kill. He would often set up a match between Hasumi and a bender of another element to see how much she had progressed. During one of the sparring matches, Hasumi was forced to fight against a firebender who was slightly older and more experienced than her. Not only did she lose the match, but she got badly burned on her hands and forearms in the process. After the match she was severely punished by Lee for losing.

Hasumi was finally reunited with her sister a year later (at the age of 14). At that point the twins were officially soldiers of the Purple Lotus' army. Hasumi worked as Lee's right-hand man, earning her the nickname Lee's Apprentice. Her bloodbending skills nearly matched her master's, but he still had the upper hand. Her status granted her a bit more freedom, allowing her to visit her sister often. During the visits, she and Ming would try to come up with ways to escape from the Purple Lotus. Another year had passed by the time the two came up with a decent plan. Their plan turned out to be successful and they named to escape without a trace. However, they were unable to return home since there were most likely going to be members of the Purple Lotus waiting there for them. The twins were forced to live like outlaws for the next two years. Today, they are wanted criminals of the United Republic of Nations due to their mini acts of rebellion throughout the state. Hasumi earned the name the Red Moon since her attacks often take place at night while wearing a red cloak to hide her identity.

Appearance: From afar one wouldn't assume that Ming and Hasumi are twin sisters because they look so different at a first glance. However, if one were to take the time to observe the two of them, then they would realize that they do have a lot of the same features. For instance, like Hasumi, Ming has small facial features and big almond-shaped eyes with full lashes. Her eyes are ice-blue, indicating that she is related to the Kangu Clan. She is not overly fond of the size of her eyes because they make her look younger and more innocent than she really is, which is a pet peeve for her. Other similarities she shares with her sister are the height (5 ft. 6 in.) and skin color (tanned). She is has a slightly slimmer build than Hasumi, but she is still well-toned. Her hair is a dark brown and falls down to her mid-back. She usually likes to leave her hair down, using only a simple clip to keep her long bangs out of her face, but she will sometimes put it up when a situation calls for it. She likes to keep up to date with the latest fashion trends, but that doesn't stop her from constantly wearing all of the different shades of blue. Like her sister, she is always wearing blue to represent her nation.

Optimistic

Ming is an optimist. She always tries to see the bright side of things even when the situation appears to be hopeless. She is the type of person who tries everything she can to cheer someone up. Her catchphrase might as well be "I know this looks bad but let's try to look at the bright side!". She is constantly trying to come up with creative ways to get out of situations, but they are not very successful most of the time, which often gets her scolded by her sister. Being optimistic doesn't make her ignorant though. She never tries to lighten the severity of a situation because she knows nothing will be accomplished if they underestimate it.

Extroverted

Unlike Hasumi, Ming loves to interact with others. Not only is she not afraid to approach anyone but she has a friendly demeanor that attracts others to her. She is not shy at all, and it makes her day when she has talked to at least two new people. It is not hard for her to make new friends. And it is not only humans that she talks to. She is sometimes seen talking to animals (even though they can't respond), plants, etc. Despite the fact that she is so talkative, she does not go around telling people her deepest, darkest secrets. She knows that she can't share such precious information to just anyone.

Proud

Ming's pride is both a blessing and a curse. It is good to be self-confident, but sometimes Ming takes it a tad too far, coming off as a little arrogant. Nothing upsets her more than being underestimated, and she can be a bit of a sore winner at times. She also cannot stand being corrected, causing quite a number of fights between her and her sister. She is also not afraid to express immense pride for her nation (like Sokka-level pride). Whenever there is an opportunity to praise the Water Tribes she will definitely take it.

One of the reasons Ming is so good at interacting with others is because she is empathetic. She emits this aura that practically screams "I am here to help". People feel comfortable going up to her to express their concerns, problems, etc. And she is will do everything in her power to help them, which is why she makes such a great healer. She listens to everything the person has to say before coming up with her own judgment about the situation. She also loves to give advice and cannot tolerate the act of leaving someone alone to deal with their problems.

Precious Items: Ming's most precious item is a medical book she stole from the library in the Purple Lotus' facility in Republic City. It contains information on how to heal a multitude of ailments with different types of bending and medicinal herbs. It has been a major help to her and her sister.

Scars/Body Modifications: Ming did sustain quite a number of small scars during her time with the Purple Lotus. She also has a small tattoo of a purple dot behind her right ear. The tattoo indicates that she is a healer for the Purple Lotus, which is one of the reasons why she almost always has her hair down.

History: Ming was born in the year 324 AG in the Northern Water Tribe. She was the first one out, which is another thing she teases her sister about (she is approximately 8 minutes older). Being the granddaughter of the head of the Kangu Clan had its perks. She and Hasumi lived a fairly comfortable life. At the age of 5 she discovered her waterbending abilities while canoeing with her father, Nanuq. She did not share her sister's determination of becoming the best waterbender in the world, but she did often go out with Hasumi to practice and spar with her. It was one of her favorite pastimes that brought her and her sister closer. When she turned 6, her mother began teaching her the methods of healing with her bending. Hasumi was often her "patient" since she would always come home with at least two new scratches and bruises.

The year the twins turned 8 years old they were kidnapped by the Purple Lotus. A few members of their tribe were secretly working for the Purple Lotus and told some of the high-ranking officials within the society about the girls' abilities. At this point Ming's history matches up with Hasumi's. The two trained for four years at the North Pole facility before being sent to the facility in Republic City. At the Republic City facility Ming was separated from her sister and placed in a faction of healers (due to her proficiency in healing). While training under that faction she was worked to the point of physical and mental exhaustion. She completed her training in a little over a year and a half, receiving the tattoo she now has behind her right ear.

At the age of 15 Ming and Hasumi managed to escape from the Purple Lotus, earning them a status as fugitives.

Appearance: Iya has long, jet black hair which reaches to her lower back back. She often pulls up into sloppy buns or ponytails to keep it out of her face. If she's desperate she'll use bobby pins to take care of her bangs as well, but she typically lets them loose. She stand at just arely 5' 4", and has a toned, slim body. Her skin is pale, despite the amount of sun she has seen. Her face is comprised of warm feature, chocolate colored eyes, soft, sloping eyebrows, and a mouth and nose akin to a doll's. She favors the colors of the Fire nation because that's where she was born, but every once and awhile she'll switch it up and represent another element with her attire.

Personality: Iya has the typical short temper of a firebender. Despite this, the short temper caused temper tantrums are nothing compared to when she is actually angered. She is scary when she's angry, she becomes a 5' 5" vessel of pure rage, not a pretty sight. If someone manages not to set her off, Iya is actually a very sweet girl. Her whole life revolves around helping others, no matter what it costs her. She is a strong advocate for peace and equality, and her being the avatar only promotes these thoughts and beliefs. She is a perfectionist, and has spent many long nights out in the courtyard going over her lesson again and again by herself until she is either too exhausted to continue or feels proud of her results. Iya can be very, very stubborn. Unless reason is talked into her, she forms plans on her own, that are typically quite flawed, and will assume they are the best course of action. She doesn't deal well with not being in control, Iya is much more comfortable with leading then she is with following. This trait stems from her stubbornness. The female is very outgoing and friendly, almost to a fault, she likes to stop and greet everyone, and lack of common manners is one of the quickest ways to flare up her temper.

Precious Items: Iya has a set of pearl earring, which are luckily fire resistant. She was given them as a gift from her father during a celebration of her mastery of fire bending.

Scars/Body Modifications: Iya has several small and fading scars as a result from training, but her most prominent one is a large slash located above her left hip. This is a result from a break in at the training grounds, courtesy of the Purple Lotus. It was an attempted murder that, obviously, failed, but not before one member managed to do some damage.

History: Iya lived a fairly normal life until she was about six. Up until that point she had only displayed signs of being a fire bender, the occasional fire burst and the like. That was until the day her favorite blanket was accidently left at the market place during their weekly excursion. The resulting temper tantrum left the courtyard with a multitude of cracks and uneven, and fierce winds ripping plants from their bed in the, now ruined, ground. News of this quickly reached the higher ups and the next phase of her life began.

Iya was moved to the royal palace and was treated as a noble during the course of her training. She began with fire bending because that was the easiest for her to learn. Waterbending was attempted next, the council already fearing waterbending would be difficult for the young Iya to learn, and were quickly proved correct. Unable to proceed with the waterbending, earthbending came next. When she was thirteen, Iya had been practicing Airbending when the alarms sounded. Only moments later, Purple Lotus members had streamed through the gates into the courtyard. Her teachers fought valiantly as she tried her best to help. A member slipped through and that's how Iya found herself bleeding out on the dusty ground.

Iya had to take a year of recovery, and was never quite the same when she returned to training. New determination spurred her to try harder, but a new hesitation and wariness kept her locked in place. Little progress was made in the next three years, and while Iya has managed to grasp the basics of water bending, she still is not fully fluent in water bending, nor is her airbending reliable.

He doesn't often pull it up, except for when he feels it necessary to give something his full attention. He stands at about 5' 9", and has a defined build. He isn't overly muscular, but there is obvious definition underneath his skin. His eyes are the typical iron grey of the earth kingdom, and have a strong almond shape. He typically dresses in earth tones, such as green and brown, although he often throws some white in the mix as well.

Personality: Jian is quiet and sneaky. He could steal the glasses someone was using to see with and not be caught. He's very secretive and keeps up a wall of defenses, he doesn't let many people in through, he fears that as soon as he lets down his defenses down they will be ripped away from him. This is surprising, because he's an ambivert. He likes interacting with people, but he doesn't want them to understand him. He feels lonely, even when the room is full, but he's not sure anymore how to reach out and establish connections with others. Jian hides himself using taunts and jokes, always dancing just out of reach from letting people get to know him. He has iron focus, a trait he's picked up from the Kyoshi warriors. Discipline and rigidity have been drilled into him, although the strength of those traits have diminished with his time on the streets. He doesn't show it a lot, but he is highly intelligent and processes problems with speed and clarity.

Precious Items: Jian has a particular fan he favor, it's a simple fan, green with white decorative patterns and a brown handle, but it was the last gift he received from his sister before she died.

Scars/Body Modifications: Various knicks and scars from training with the warriors. He tried using a Katana, but proved to be inept at using it.

History: Jian lived a fairly sheltered life. He was born as a non-bender, just like his father, but when his sister came along she stole the spot light. He could never be angry at her about it though. He dotted and spoiled her just as much as his parents.

The fighting in the Earth Kingdom got increasingly more violent, and to better protect his sister, Jian sought out training from the Kyoshi warriors. He was accepted into training but not into the actual group because he couldn't master the skills necessary. Despite this fact he continued to work hard and become stronger. Until the day a riot sprang up in their section. Hao was killed in the riot and Jian hasn't forgiven himself.

Jian packed up the following night and left, unable to stay in the house full of memories of his sister. He has been on the move ever since, stealing from food vendors and small shops to get necessities.

She's always seen in shirts with no sleeves, tight pants, and tall boots. That's simply just her style. History: After being ran out of the last town in the Fire Nation for disrespecting authority at the age of 17, Azura wondered around with just the clothes on her back. She couldn't work because she argues with staff and her boss too much. So, she took up fighting. She trained for years under a man named Xung. He was an old man, not a bender. He taught her how to fight without her bending skills, and had another bender teach her how to fight with them. Shortly after her 18th birthday, she began fighting professionally. Soon, she became famous in Republic City for her fighting skills and the way she entertained the crowd. She's only had two losses, both highly skilled water benders. Now, she's fighting less. She only makes special appearances, mostly when she needs the money or for a high ranked tournament.

I just finished the form for one of my characters, Hasumi, so if there is any part of the form that you are confused about you are more than welcome to use hers as an example of what I expect. QueenKarma Your form for Azura looks good. For the skill set section (if the character is a bender), I want to know how advanced their bending is and if they have any sub-bending abilities, such as generating lightning/lighting redirection, blue fire, combustionbending, etc. If the character is not a bender then the skill set section can consist of a multitude of things, such as sword training, archery, hand-to-hand combat, etc. But for the most part Azura is accepted!

Nationality:Earth Kingdom (Kyoshi)

Appearance:Misao has always been on the short side much to her annoyance and chagrin. Standing at 5’1 she’s dwarfed by even some of the rookies. She compensates for this by constantly working out giving her a very well toned and muscular physique that’s favorable for her occupation. She has many thin scars along her body to show how dedicated she it (although most are just glorified scrapes and scratches she accidently left with her fan). She has broad shoulders and a round almost youthful face. Though the rest of her body is well toned she never lost the baby fat in her facial region giving her an almost innocent demeanor. Often you won’t see her face as it naturally is, as she cakes it with the traditional makeup as the Kyoshi Warriors. She has grayish blue eyes that always gleam with some sort of amusment. This eye color is rather common amoungst her people. Her hair is shoulder length and colored an Auburn with streaks of lighter ginger running down the scalp. She allows her bangs to fall in her face

Most of the time she wears her uniform, she represents her village and takes great pride in that. The Kyoshi Warriors dressed in adorned metal headdresses and heavily armored green kimonos and wore face paint while on duty. This uniform was designed to resemble the attire that Avatar Kyoshi wore during her life, as well as her face paint that was meant to intimidate opponents. The golden insignia represented the "honor of a warrior's heart", and the silk threads symbolized the "brave blood that flows through [their] veins".Wearing such attire is a high honor for the Kyoshi Warriors. (Credit) . Though if she’s not in her formal wear she tends to favor black clothing with accents of mostly green and sometimes blue.

Personality:Incredibly prideful, Misao holds herself with diginity with the self assurance and appearance that she knows exactly what she’s doing. She takes her work seriously and will do just about anything for the good of her people. Often people may describe her as a tad smug as she acts the part. Often joking about being the best and how she’s the hottest, strongest or coolest. She acts like she’s the best and enjoys messing with people just to get a rise out of them. It’s just funny to her and she gets to be exposed to many people and with that she has a ton of new opportunities to do so. Though she does love her job and take pride in it guarding can get boring and sprucing it up can make it more barable. As long as her more strict coworkers aren’t around she does as she pleases.

She has a very crass sense of humor for such a small girl. As well as having a pretty loud voice, she likes being heard.

She’s incredibly gutsy and impulsive and acts on her own whims. She doesn’t think to much before acting and excuses herself by stating “that you can’t plan in the middle of a fight can you? You just fight simple as that.” Which is a constant cause of annoyance to her more practical friends or coworkers. She’s very honest about what she wants and hates to lie. She refuses to mince her words and prides herself at being honest and trustable. The only things she really hides is the fact she’s very self conscious about most attributes of her personality. Not believing she deserves half the things she’s gotten.

Precious Items: Her fans are the only thing she’d call precious, she was incredibly ecstatic when she received them having to deal with old worn out training fans for so long.

Scars/Body Modifications: As mentioned just minor scarring on her back, arms, shoulders and legs. The most notable is a cut on the left side of her neck. You can’t really see them do to her clothes and makeup.

History: Born in 322 AG, Misao was born to a house that only contained her mother and grandmother as her father had been absent since before she was born. Both her Grandmother and Mother had great reputations and had both led officer positions in the Kyoshi Warriors in their youth. So even before she was born Misao was expected to do great things and continue the family legacy. She’d practically began training the second it was physically possible for her to do so, Years before she’d be eligible to even join the ranks. This caused her to be rather distant to children her age, having no time at all to be a normal kid as she was constantly kept on a rigorous schedule. She really didn’t know how to deal with people till later in her life. Often only seeing the other children as sparring partners or pushovers and not her peers at all.

When she was eligible to join the Kyoshi Warriors as a recruit she immedeatly joined and began formal training though she had years of expirence on her belt when compared to her peers. This led her to join a squad a while before the others. She served mostly guarding duty with that squad in the firenation as Kyoshi was in close diplomatic relations with the nation even after the war. She mostly just did her job and began to develop her habits. A year or so ago she was promoted to a second in command position within her squad being her officers lieutenant. Recently they’ve been moved to republic city to guard and she’s grown rather fond of it.

Appearance:Dorje can easily be described as a beanpole, he’s tall and doesn’t have much fat or muscle. He stands a time 5’11 and has narrow shoulders and hands he dubs ‘petite’ which he has a habit of covering with bindings. His skin has a certain pale pallor to it that makes his tattoos stand out much more. The blue ink heavily constrast his natural tone and it still appears red and healing around the edges. These tattoos are on his legs arms neck and forehead (though covered by his mess of hair)

He has an angular face and small nose. Often from a glance people mistake him as a woman until they have a double take. Je has bright yellow eyes that always appear half lidded and bored helped by the fact they are always behind a pair of red glasses. The red accents of his glasses are to pay respect to his mothers heritage and he believes it ties together his outfit well. His hair is rather messy and colored a honey blonde color with an ombré running down the back of it. The hair close to his neck often spikes out no matter how hard he tries to get it to stand down. He wears two red clips in his bangs though they have no practical use.

For clothing he often wear his traditional robes, especially to formal events or when he has to introduce himself to people. But more often then not he prefers to wear comfy winter clothing that’s orange or red in color.

Personality: Je is a very gentle and kindhearted boy, he tries his best to cheer people up and can’t stand seeing someone upset. He is very patient and understanding with others, especially children, and has that certain high empathy that others don’t have. However he’s a pretty shy dude, easily flustered and relies on others to talk with him. He’s a dreamer and enjoys the little things in life even if it’s so minuscule as admiring the clouds. He takes things slow and does his best to remain calm. He has great constraint with anything but with sweets, he has a notorious sweet tooth.

Although very modest he loves to show others his airbending. And has a great passion for it, he loves doing what he does. And likes to when people watch and cheer him on. He really likes to be praised. And have people pay attention to him.

He’s a pushover and is often seen as a coward for his tendency to avoid conflict or run away when the going gets tough. And he’s obligated to agree and state he’d rather live as a coward to fight another day than die for a lost cause. He lets things happen around him and let’s his stress stack up till he can’t take it anymore. He takes things very personally and his emotions control him. He shuts down if anything happens to him or his friends. He wants to help save the world but is to scared of what he’ll have to do to do that. He just wants peace.

Precious Items: His glasses were a present from his mother and he holds them dear, also his glider has a special place in his heart though built the same as any other glider the fabric is a crimson red with ornate yellow (flower) designs embroidered around its edges.

Scars/Body Modifications: His ears are pierced, His airbending tattoos, as for scars he has a rather noticeable burn scar on the back of his left leg.

History: Born in 324 AG and a child-bender during one of the most periods in recent history. His parents were incredibly fearful and worried especially due to their ties to The Order of the White Lotus. As Sonra’s brother had dissapeared, both he and his wife feared for both their lives and those of their two young boys. They winded up fleeing and living in one of the air temples believing in safety in numbers and they were somewhat right to do so.

His parents in question are from two different nations and met through Sonra’s brother. Though the family is more air-bender centric in terms of nationality.

Other than the chaos of moving around and distress of his parents Je had a very happy childhood. With loving parents a brother close to his age to play with. It even got better when at the age of 6 he had pushed ove Akio with just his breath. His airbending was a cause of celebration for his family and especially his father. He enjoyed this attention greatly even after his brother spouted his first flames not even two weeks later. Je was taught by masters and his father and was labled a prodigy. He honed his techniques but was remarkably relaxed about it.

Of course there was many scares growing up, when bending children in other temples began vanishing and when Akio had accidentally burned Je in a simple sparring match. Not much has happened to Je, and for that he is thankful. He hopes to keep it that way (which it most likely won’t)

He plans to pass down his teachings to a pupil.

Appearance: Jin is a rather tall boy with a well defined muscular body, though he has one glaring appendage missing, his left arm. Other than that Jin is well put together and well built despite his lopsidedness. Jin has a head of short black hair and striking green eyes. The boy stands at about six feet in height and weighs about 175lbs.

Personality: Jin is a bit of a cocky guy with what can only be described as a thing for adrenaline, he's a bit of a thrill seeker and doesn't miss out on an opportunity to do something seemingly stupid, but the boy isn't as dumb as a sack of boulders, and what he lacks in terms of a filter he makes up for in being stubbornly loyal and friendly. Being a bit of a flirt, Jin likes to be around girls, though he'd never really admit it, he gets uncomfortable around other men and often feels inadequate for reasons he doesn't quite like to explain. He's a bit self conscious about his missing arm, and doesn't much like to acknowledge it.

Skill set (Sub-bending?): Not only is Jin an adept earth bender, but he is also a metal bender of some great aptitude.

Jin also knows how to control earth well enough to form a 'rock arm' of sorts that he can use in place of his missing arm, with only a little bit of a strain and focus.

Precious Items: Jin still has his childhood blanket that he wears around his neck as sort of a scarf, often deflecting questions towards him about it. He snuggles it when he sleeps and would freak out if he ever lost it.

Scars/Body Modifications: Missing Arm

History: Jin is the only son of a very large family, having seven sisters and being the middle child of the bunch. Jin learned from a young age many things that were traditionally more femine, like sewing, knitting, and other such activities along side his sisters.

When he was thirteen he had an accident, when part of his house came down on him in an earthquake that broke up his arm something awful/. Doctors weren't sure what they could do, and so when it came tright down to it, they amputated the limb and Jin has been missing his left arm since then.
