  • Harue was no stranger to the clans. They were well aware of how they worked from the tales passed down to them from their fathers and the other Audax family members. They would have to admit, the clans were an odd place to be in: functioning as one big familial unit, having an hierarchy and politics and whatnot all had seemed tedious to Harue at first. Now, they supposed they've understood since they've matured under Jinya's watchful presence. Their adoptive father had wasted little time in pouring information into them, making them understand how the world treated others who lived in it while also being the father that Leigon never could be for them. They wondered if Jinya would be proud of them for finally going out on their own, taking on the cruelness of the world with a clear mind and goal set in mind. They also wondered if Leigon would be proud of them too.

The dark furred feline stepped up to the border of her biological father's home. Leigon had lived here for the longest time. He had told tales of their great battles and experiences, his shortcomings and achievements. They wondered what HawkClan was like... It had undoubtedly changed, since Leigon said he had last visited the place nearly three or four years ago. They did not mind. This was where their roots began and this is where home shall be. Harue readjusted the mask upon their face, sighing softly as they turned their head to briefly examine the area that made up their surroundings. Eyes of warm, liquid gold glimmered. Impressive. This was quite the home that HawkClan had claimed for themselves. Such impressive heights for these trees... Leigon wasn't wrong in saying that HawkClan's home was rather breathtaking.

They remained idle for five more minutes and turned their head once they heard someone approaching them from beyond the border. "Hello. I am Harue Audax Akise Xerses, mercenary and exorcist, at your service." They would bow courteously, as taught by their fathers, voice calm yet strong and unwavering. "May I join HawkClan?"

  • AM I A PART OF THE CURE ?

    shamisen arbor / hawkclan / [♀] / tags & information

*:・゚✦ Neither was Shamisen, even before Hawkclan the small feline had tried multiple aside her birth clan; three others to be specific. None of them were right, at all.One was as barren as the ghostly ship on its' shores, the other was not as welcoming as they prided themselves to be; and then there was Hawkclan. And as much as Shamisen could easily move on again, considering her distaste for adults, she was tired of running away, searching for home after home. This was her mother's home before her; and while her mother was gone, she might as well make use of it.

Shamisen had expected to speak first, as usual, when running into Harue, but instead found herself being greeted by a feline who bowed deeply, kept their manners, and generally took the unruly child off-guard. "Uhhhh...." she found herself staring for what seemed to be far too long - but there was a twinkle of hope in here that there was someone else her age, someone else who wouldn't look at her with scorn. Maybe they were like the others, maybe they looked upon her like it was her fault their ex-deputy was gone; but what would a child have to do with her mother's disappearance other than being abandoned herself. Shaking the intrusive thoughts from her mind, Shamisen bowed in response, mewing, "Shamisen. And uh... I mean, I... I don't see a problem with it."

    "Speech."

[ oof sorry for the backstory dump xD ]

OR AM I PART OF THE DISEASE ?

  • "Hawkclan has an automatic acceptance policy." Auroradweller padded beside Shamisen, taking a seat. "Welcome to Hawkclan. I see that you were already kind enough to answer the usual questions beforehand. My name's Auroradweller, and you've already greeted Shamisen."

  • Approaching the group, McCree bore a hearty grin. He bounded over, excited to see the newcomer, not so softly as his robotic leg fell heavier than his flesh limbs. His smile slightly faded at the mention of the stranger being a mercenary. The cowboy froze in his tracks as memories of his past life as one, murdering relentless and only for money. He felt guilty at the time, but the thought of a hefty reward for carrying out the act of killing was what spurred him on. Now, McCree felt more guilt than he did then, because know he was a changed man; a man that hated who he used to be.

He now slowly approached, still keeping a smile on his fate despite the thoughts swirling in his mind. "Nice name, sounds regal" The male thought aloud, now coming to a stop beside Aurora and Shamisen. "Y' can call me McCree" he added, tipping his hat to the newcomer.

  • HawkClan would be the first clan that Harue ever joined. Already, they had thought about finding the other clan that their father had told them about. How was it called again? BlizzardClan, right? However, they would not be living HawkClan's territory until they caught their breath and recovered a bit of health. It was troubling getting from their camp to HawkClan. It took a couple of weeks, most certainly.

With Shamisen before them, they didn't hear much of anything for a couple of seconds, which then prompted them to peek up from under their mask. The girl looked to be caught-off guard. Was it unnatural to see someone bow here? It wasn't long though when the first visitor bowed in return to them. They smiled faintly as Shamisen introduced herself. "Thanks then." The mercenary and exorcist would say, sitting up from their bow. Not very long after, two more beings approached. One of them said something about an auto acceptance policy and the other wore an interesting accent.

They turned towards Auroradweller first. He seemed rather nice so far and from the way he looked, Harue assumed that this HawkClanner was a good bit older than them. They dipped their head respectfully. "It's nice meeting you Auroradweller." Harue would say. They usually didn't bother with pleasantries, but they had to be courteous some way or another. Jinya and Leigon always told him that they had to be mindful of what they said and how they said it. They were here to serve as both mercenaries and exorcists.

The youth then shifted their attention to McCree, noting how his expression seemed to dim slightly. They could not immediately pin point what might've been wrong, but Harue would tread carefully with the cowboy for now. Harue had never murdered anyone in their life (apart from monsters, demons, vampires, werewolves and everything in between) and they pledged that they would never take on a contract where a mortal life would come into play. They were mercenaries and exorcists, it sort of defined them, didn't it? The Audaxes would protect the innocent from the otherworldly horrors that polluted the world with their evil. They looked up at the older tom. "My name sounds regal? I'm not a very regal person, though." They admitted with a swish of their tail, "But thank you, McCree. It's a pleasure meeting you."

  • Well, now that greetings were passed about, time for the obvious in a clan with vampires, a zombie, and a cyborg. Auroradweller meowed, "So what 'exorcism' work do you actually partake in?" The tomcat would take a mental note to keep an eye on the newcomer if he mentioned killing the "fiends," and on a certain cute little tuxedo cat. The drunk... maybe. He usually made himself known when he was out and about.
