  • THE IRONY HOWEVER, IS THAT I'M NOT ACTUALLY ANGRY —

The dragoness moves to the camp to make a quick announcement for the entire clan. Well it was her first time doing something like this and it was a little nerve-wracking, but this was probably the easiest task Aleksei has ever given her. "Any apprentices interested in learning from older members and any members willing to teach their skills to apprentices please gather." Kady requests politely while taking a seat. "We're going to set up this program a bit differently with two trial runs. The first one is a one on one setting, where apprentices will be paired with a member who will teach them everything they can from hunting to fighting and more. The second one is a group setting, where young ones might be able to benefit from and learn from their friends as well as from one mentor each class teaching their biggest strength. Whichever is more successful will be implemented in the clan and continue out from there." There's a brief pause as she looks around to make sure everyone understands what she was saying. If not, she would answer any questions asked.

"With that in mind, if anyone is willing to participate then please state your name, whether you'll be an apprentice or mentor, and if you're going to be a mentor please state what your strongest skill is." Bam. Get it.

    — I'M TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO BE HAPPY, AND THAT IN ITSELF IS A WAR

  • He had never been formally trained in a clan setting - he had learned most everything from his mother or on the field. But he had never mentored a younger animal before either, not in BlizzardClan or in HawkClan. He wanted to do a good job. "I can be a mentor," the tall fox spoke up, walking over and standing a few feet away from the large dragon. "I'm Piedpiper." Kady knew who he was, but she had asked volunteers to state their names and surely not everyone in BlizzardClan knew him. "Fighting's my strongest skill." He also enjoyed it a lot more than hunting.

  • Well, it'd been a bit since Adalicia had a mentor, since Aleksei. She really should fix that. The girl made her way forward with a heavy sigh, eyes heavy and puffy. "I should participate, as an apprentice." she stated simply, deciding not to delve into any explanation of any sort.

MONEY IS THE ANTHEM OF SUCCESS -- SO BEFORE WE GO OUT WHAT'S YOUR ADDRESS

  • ☆☆☆ Rosemont wasn't so sure of the whole apprentice/mentor thing, seeing as how he hadn't ever had a mentor, nor had he been an apprentice. He supposed it wouldn't hurt to at least try, though, especially since it would be his own fault if he obstructed a trainee's learning. The lanky wolf stepped up, rather hesitantly, and moved forward to halt near Piedpiper. The other male was asking to be a mentor as well, so he figured it would be best to be beside him rather than Adalicia, who was to be an apprentice. "er.. Name's Rosemont, and I'd like to be a mentor," he introduced and informed before pausing, attempting to decide what his best asset was. He wasn't particularly adept in anything, but he perform many skills, which he supposed was better than nothing. "I can teach just about anythin'," he then added on with a dip of his head, amber optics trained on Kady.

  • Chesspieces had never been trained in the settings of a Clan. He had already been an adult, far too old to become an apprentice, when he had first joined the world of the Clans. He had had the chance to have his own apprentice after joining BlizzardClan though. Mija hadn't exactly been an apprentice whose focus was to learn how to hunt and fight but she had been his apprentice nonetheless. How hard could it be to teach warrior skills? Granted, he had learned them at a different time and a different way but they were similar, were they not? Limping over, his wounds still bothering him with the healing process, Chesspieces found himself a cozy spot beside Piedpiper. "I'll be a mentor." The former head medic offered, "I'm pretty good in both hunting and fighting. Medicine is my strongest skill though."

  • ✧・゚ "Yanyu here, I'd like to join—as an apprentice, of course," The young female introduced, inflection of joviality lacing her tone, as she ventured to the site of the announcement. She settled back on her hindquarters to await for a response to the volunteers, waving an indiscreet talon towards Kady in a more familiar greeting.

  • Irene limped her way forward at Kady's call, nesting herself down beside Piper and Chess. Her wounds were starting to heal, but due to how deep the hole on her leg was, it would be a while before she'd be able to walk normally again. But hey, her areas of expertise didn't require much physical activity, so she should be able to participate in this just fine. Once everything seemed quiet for a moment, the medic spoke up as well. "I'm Irene, i'd like to be a mentor, and I could teach anything related to medicine, healing, or even how to make poisons." That last bit wasn't something she'd ever shared with anyone before, but her father had been an expert at concocting various poisons, and he'd left her his medical journal when he died. She'd managed to learn quite a bit about it in her spare time.

  • Osiris was an okay hunter, but really he excelled at fighting. Hunting was necessary but it bored him. There was a thrill to fighting that wasn't exactly uncommon to the high he received from the drugs. Naturally, it was what he opted to do. Smiling a crooked smile, the lion padded forward. He made his way over toward Piper, taking a seat beside the male with a small inclination of his head toward him. "My name is Osiris. I'd like to be a mentor and I, too, excel at fighting."

  • this was not at all the sort of thing jae-eun would usually sign up for. she already skipped out on almost all of the training she was supposed to do as a trainee, and preferred to spend most of her time lazing about. just yesterday she probably would have ignored this too. then she'd gotten her butt whooped by melantha, in a sparring match that hadn't even been close. well, more like a series of sparring matches, all of which she lost badly. the whole ordeal had left her with a few bruses, and a brused ego to boot, and she had no intention of letting it happen again.

so signing up for this was a necessary evil. it'd probably suck, but hopefully it would be worth it. jae-eun just hoped it wouldn't be as bad as the regular training sessions. "i'm jae-eun, and i'll be signing up as an apprentice." the young tiger called out. she glanced over at irene, hoping she'd get lucky and get to train with her mom. then again she knew more about herbs and medic stuff than fighting, so while it'd be more fun, it wouldn't really get the albino what she wanted.

  • DID YOUR SIBLINGS TELL YOU —

"Lucifer, mentor, and fighting, probably," the winged lion announced as he joined the group that was forming. He took a seat, deciding to wait and see how she was going to finish explaining this. After all, she'd have to announce the pairs, right? It would make sense if she were to do so.

    — I WAS WASTING UP YOUR TIME?

  • LET ME LEARN FROM WHERE I HAVE BEEN

Slowly but surely, the canine was learning just what clan, not cult, life was about. Meetings, tasks, everything was being cleared up to him. It was a bit laborious and tiring, being thrown into it, and while his attitude got the better of him at times, he'd give himself time to adjust. After all, he doubted he'd get any better offers should he decide to hit the road again. With narrowed eyes, he sauntered over to the group before taking a lazy seat and slurring simply, "Queens. Apprentice." There wasn't much else to add to the resume besides first impressions, so he remained his slumped posture.

  • TAGS ✦ ✧ ✦ — Oh neat! This sounded fun. Sundance quickly made her way up. "Hello! I'm Sundance, and I'd like to be a mentor. I can also teach basic fighting moves, nothing too advanced, but I can also teach basic and advanced medicine!" The kitsune made her tails bob up and down excitedly.

  • THE IRONY HOWEVER, IS THAT I'M NOT ACTUALLY ANGRY —

Perfect. It looks like a solid amount of members were signing up. "Awesome. Anyone who wants to sign up still can. For this first week I want the mentors to have a brief meeting together and cover what they're teaching. Sort of come up with a curriculum, like if someone is better at elemental fighting or fighting in the air, etcetera. From there we can have the apprentices show up to the classes they think will benefit them the most and that mentor, or mentors if you'd like to pair up, can teach that topic." Consider this post a gathering hub then, and the mentors can discuss here what they'd like to do. Whether some fighters pair up or even make a team for their class, or if the medical mentors would prefer to teach classes alone. It's all up to them. "Once you have it figured out just let me know when the class is and I'll make sure the apprentices know."

// What I'm thinking is i'll edit the first post and attach the links to the different classes, then the next week will be the one on one training. If there are any questions let me know! Or if you can think of any way that this would be easier

    — I'M TRYING TO LEARN HOW TO BE HAPPY, AND THAT IN ITSELF IS A WAR

  • //sounds good!

Sundance nodded and immediately spotted Irene in the crowd. The kitsune made her way over with a small smile on her maw. "Hey Irene. You want to team up?" It could be a learning opportunity for the both of them.

  • Listening quietly as Kady spoke, Piedpiper nodded in acknowledgement once she had finished. "Osiris, Lucifer." There were a few others who had given broad answers that could also include fighting, as well as other subjects, but these were the two others who had specified fighting. Others could join in too, but the fox presumed that there would be some animals needed to teach hunting and other skills. "Let's get together and see how we wanna run this."

  • ☆☆☆ The lanky wolf listened attentively as Kady began to speak after the appearance of countless individuals. He glanced at them briefly, eyes fleeting and hasty in movement. Once his gaze settled back on the deputy, he narrowed his eyes and furrowed his nonexistent brows in concentration. He didn't know what elemental fighting was, nor did he have wings, so he supposed he would be stuck with the most basic of things - hunting on ground, and in the water, and fighting in paw to paw combat. Rose supposed there were other things he could teach as well, but nothing came to mind as Kady finished up. If he had powers he would have taught something about those as well, but he wasn't perfect. Flaws were good though, or so he thought. He turned and looked to Sundance and Piedpiper as they both spoke up, nodding his head in acknowledgement to them. "I s'ppose I could help out with either fightin' or huntin'," Rosemont informed the mentors present, giving a twitch of his ear.

  • OOC: PIEDPIPER - can you please??

Osiris felt his blue gaze roam over toward Piedpiper, who had called his name. The lion padded over toward the flowery male, dipping his head in greeting. "That sounds good to me."
