  • Damari stood in silence at the news that Alistar had just been killed. He was going to the goodness alliance regardless of what had happened, but it gave him a slight lift to know that there had been a change in the events. Looks like he would be able to jump straight in. Breaking a small smile, the male dipped his head and quickly made his way along the path, his footsteps bringing him to the run down plot of land that was the goodness alliance.

The male immediately knew what state it was in just by looking around, and he chewed the inside of his cheek as he opened the door of what he presumed was the main building. Why didn't the nomad society just destroy the heroes if security was this weak?

  • Kido made their way through the Goodness Alliances halls, her feet light as she practically skipped across the floor. Her arms swung by her sides, and her large hoodie fell almost to her knees. It had fit only a minute ago, but with the gender switch, suddenly it didn't fit anymore.

She knocked on Josef's door before opening the door. "Hello Joe~" She said in a sing-song voice. She giggled at her unintentional rhyme. She skipped in the room. "Did you hear? Our job just got easier, and the Nomed Society has NO idea they have a mole under their nose!" She was normally this excited while at the Goodness Alliance but there was something extra in her attitude today.

  • Raven

She mutters curses to herself as she leaves. She isn't normally one to panic, she tends to just go with the flow. It had already been reported to the news, everybody knew. It wasn't supposed to go down like that. He wasn't supposed to do that. She tries to convince herself that it was somehow his own fault but quickly scraps that upon further reflection. She figures the best thing to do now is lay low. She freezes. A batch full of supers is streaming in her direction. To the pub!

    Josef

He's tapping away on his computer frantically attempting to defend Goodness Alliance's reputation. Of course he had nothing to do with the murder but somebody had to have done it. Raven doesn't just kill people, she is paid to kill people. And despite the fact that he was their enemy it was still an injustice.

He looks up at the door when he hears the knocking. "Hello Kido, you're looking well," he smiles, never sure which appearance will show up of them. His face turns into a frown, "cold blooded murder is what it was. Alistair may be dead but someone will step in, his daughter perhaps. I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her yet." Luckily, he thinks. He sighs, "sorry, I don't mean to be rude. Nomed Society are blaming us for his death. And we must investigate a murder all the same. No matter who it is," he nods. He contemplates for a moment. "Great work by the way, who knew they'd be so easy to fool?" He chuckles softly. "Now perhaps you could investigate the murder, I'm not sure how much you could really do but ask around, see if it really was Raven?" The phone rings. "Yes, yes, on my way." He stands up. New recruits have begun to arrive.

  • Everything was happening so quickly. One day she was in Paris enjoy the romantic atmosphere and history, next she was on her way home to London because her father called her asking her to come back. Before she even got there she was getting news alerts about his murder by the hands of Raven mostly likely paid by the Goodness society. Luckily her father sent her a schedule of everything that needed to be done for the whole month. It was luckily he saw his death coming and put plans in motion for his daughter to swiftly take over.

Cynthia already sat down in "her" office. She would have taken the real office but that was currently a crime scene. "Dru send in the new supers if they show up. Oh and any of my father's trusted advisors. I'm in charge now" She commanded towards her father's- no Her assistant. This was her empire now. She placed a hand over the eye patch that covered her golden eye. Mine, this city is mine. Almost worth having Raven kill that old bastard.

  • Damari rapped on the door twice sharply, alerting Josef and Kido to his presence hastily. He cleared his throat as he entered the room, dull green eyes taking in the two 'heroes' before his swiftly and opening his mouth, "I heard your recruiting" his voice came out, quiet but bold. He didn't knkw what to expect from these heroes, but hopefully he could jump to help then soon.

  • Kido's smile never faded from her face. Even when he showed a bit of anger, her smile never wavered. "Believe me, my deceit has not been without effort. May I join you welcoming the new recruits?" She asked, pulling on her long sleeves before rolling them up to her elbows. She turned when the door was knocked on and then opened. 'How unorthodox' she thought, but retained judgement for this young recruit.

  • Josef

About to leave the office he watches the recruit enter his office. Clearly security could be improved. He frowns initially but covers it up with his usual smile. "Ah, the first arrival." He looks the recruit up and down. He's half tempted to put him on desk duty, but they really need every hero they can get. "Allow me to introduce myself. Josef Fitzgerald. But please call me Joe," he gleams. He offers him a hand to shake, to maintain some formality. "Who are you?" He neglects to ask about his abilities, wanting to just get him out the way as to continue with work. Hopefully this one will last, new heroes are the easiest to lose. "Just try not to get killed on your first day. Don't do anything stupid, like well I don't know. Try to fight someone much more powerful than you. Unless you're bullet proof I'd suggest borrowing a vest. Sign it out, sign it in, no exceptions."

Not all work was glamorous running around and saving the city. Most included a pile of paperwork. "Jobs, jobs, how about speaking with Mrs Jones." He grabs a piece of paper. "Here's the address. Look she is always complaining about something, noisy kids, troublesome teens. It shouldn't be a hard task, though she is rather tiresome." He says trying to have rid of the recruit as soon as possible. "Check on her, deal with whatever mundane task she asks of you. Dismissed." He ends his smile and walks out his office briefly motioning for Kido to follow.

    Raven

She finds the pub and pulls her hood up. If she's lucky the mob will provide limited protection. Unless of course Nomed Society manage to pay them enough to have them kill her. She has a few connections so plans to using that to her advantage until this small situation passes. "Give me the strongest drink you have," she orders. She glances up at the news playing. She is every channel. Great. Raven wonders if they are going to announce who will take over. There must be someone who can help her out. She smiles to herself. The new supers have arrived recently. This is something she could use to her advantage.

  • The brown haired man felt his words catch in his throat as he suddenly ended up with a piece of paper thrown in his hands, an address written on it. There was no explanation of where he signed out a vest from or any of the sorts, and he felt his fist clench around the paper he held with a slightly annoyed expression covering his face. Here he was, a man who's only abilities consisted of destroying objects via touch... and he was getting sent to deal with some noisy kids. "Don't blame me if they end up as rubble" he muttered under his breath, eyes locking on Kido as she walked past. "Where do I sign out these vests?"

  • Nothing seemed to be right. Nothing at all. Katie thought as she layed back in her bed half awake, her one good arm by her head and her eyes squinting against the sim light that was streaming though the windows. Everything seemed so light and lucid, as though it were all a dream that she was living out with each breath that she took. She was lucky she lived alone, as her entire space was a complete mess all around her were scraps of machinery, little projects here and there, papers strewn about the place, Her whole room looked like there had been a storm that had blown through there and left everything around in a mess in its wake.It was as she sat up and swung what would have been her legs over the side of the bed that she really took it all in. It smelled of grease and oil and seemed to sit within its own stale air. It was in that moment that she took a good look around and made a mental note that she had to clean things up before she passed out for the night.

It was after that that she got up, got herself a shower, got dressed into something half decent and went out for the day. Today was a special day, and not just for Katie It seemed like all the powered people were coming out of the wood works to do what she was doing. Looking for a job. Katie grinned at the thought that these super people weren't too different from her or someone else. There was only slight distinctions between what was the normal for them, and what was normal for most people. Like everyone else though it seemed they needed work, and the perfect place for a powered person was at either the Goddess alliance or the Nomed Society. And those were the places that she was applying. Resume in her back pack Katie made her way downtown to turn in the first one. The Nomed Society one.
The Nomed society wasn't her first choice, it wasn't exactly good, but if she was turned down by the goddess alliance she needed a fall back plan, someplace with the happenings of the super world that was at the heart of London. She needed the information, whatever she could pick up from working at one of the two places. Faceless required that inside knowlege to be able to do what they did at night. And tonight, was their first big debut.

  • As soon as Desdesmona heard the news, she knew she was going to have to abandon her new cup of coffee to go figure out what was going on. She had been in the local Starbucks to keep up appearances, but honestly this new boy, or her new alibi, was getting too handsy for her liking. As soon as he pulled at her cardigan, she knew it would be over. Des focuses on appearances and tries to look innocent, hence her pink crop top, white shorts, and fleece-like cardigan/sweater thingy. She then takes a quick step back and pours her new frappuccino over his head. "Bye-Bye" She chirps then sashes out of the building and across the road, to her job "as a secretary".

After walking inside, she headed to her new bosses office. "Cynthia" She nods to the red head as a sign of respect, then continues speaking. "I hope you have heard what happened. If you need anything, I'm here for you. On the other hand, would you like me to make a statement to the others or the mafia?" The girl offers the Clock a kind smile, showing off her innocent dimples. She then pulls her a small vial and a water bottle out of her fluffy pink purse. She quickly fills it up and stashes the vial back in her purse, just in case she needs her powers later. She then takes a sip of the water bottle.

  • Malakhai was finally in London, she had never even been out of the country before. She blinked, holding a piece of paper with an address written on it tightly in her hand. As soon as she heard about this place, she knew that she would fit right in. For one, she had crazy powers. And number two, she always knew deep down she wanted to do good in the world. Biting her lower lip a bit nervously, the slender girl stepped into the large courtyard and made her way up to the front door. She saw a man already standing at the door, Malakhai nervously tugging on her hood that covered her pure white hair. Born with albinism, she tended to try and keep from standing out too much. It was nearly impossible to hide from though, as her powers betrayed her differences as well. A pearly white aura surrounded her as she gracefully flounced her way up the steps, her nearly white-blue eyes locking on the door. She slowly raised her fist, knocking three times, wincing at how loud it was. Hopefully this was the right place.

  • Kido watched the exchange and followed after Josef, stopping when the recruit asked her a question. "You just have to go down a few doors, and you'll see the storage room. Go in there, and there should be an older lady in there. She'll check out the vest and any weapons you need for you." She said cheerfully before heading after Josef. "How many recruits do you think we're going to get?" She asked.

  • Josef

Ignoring the mumblings of the disgruntled recruit he walks fast as to try and catch the next recruit before they ventured too far. Unfortunately he failed, as another person had arrived yet again without security having even informed him. He grumbles to himself before hearing the question. "Normally we only get about five, at least two either quit or get killed." He wants to change that, but for now he has to save the reputation of the entire company. "I'm making an official statement in an hour, red tie or black tie?" He unlocks a small draw hidden in the wall that reveals a selection of ties. Joe sees the next recruit, very pale, almost glowing. He blinks. "Welcome to the Goodness Alliance, there's normally a guided tour but we are a little short staffed thanks to Raven. Or whoever the heck killed Alistair." He pauses. His eyes light up with an idea.

"Of course, someone who blends in by standing out, it's the perfect cover. New girl, I have the perfect assignment for you." Although an almost impossible one in his mind. "Find Raven, get a confession. But don't be confrontational, all we need is a confession that she killed him and then I can assemble a squad to have her arrested." He laughs, "yes, err, I'm sure you will be fine. Find Ed the tech guy in the hall to the left, take the second right and up the stairs to the left again. I'm going to need you to wear a mic, that's all." He wonders if a recruit could actually pull this off. He can hardly have one of his best go, she would recognise them and wouldn't say a word. It seems today is a day of risks.

  • "Hi, I'm-" She was cut off by his quick speech, a little flabbergasted by what he had to say. Of course, she didn't live under a rock. She had social media, and it was going pretty crazy with news of the killing of Alistair. "Um..." She gulped, her eyes wide. Interview Raven?! "Isn't she like...super powerful?" She laughed very nervously, unsure if this was a joke or not. Malakhai supposed she herself was quite powerful too, but she had some trouble with her powers still. Lucky for her, today was a sunny day, so she would have all the energy she needed. Pulling off her hood, she did look quite unassuming due to her petite size. "Ed, the tech guy..." She mumbled, feeling extremely overwhelmed. Well, great. Her first day and she was already set up for failure. She hurried off in the direction, quietly repeating what he said again till she arrived at the room where she was to be fitted for a mic. Once that was all done, she couldn't help but smile just a little. She had done her fair share of crime stopping in her hometown, but that was small stuff. Nothing like big, organized crime, with a killer on the loose. She made her way slowly out of the courtyard, simply just trying to figure out where to go next.

  • Kido followed till he made his tie dilemma out loud, and she grabbed a black tie, before wrapping it around his neck and began to tie it. "Avoid Red when you are going to be talking. It makes you look less professional, and it paints a bad picture." She said, quietly judging his decision to send a new recruit. To be honest, she was kinda hurt that he didn't send her. She supposed it was for the best.

  • Josef

He smiles at Kido, glad that at least one person will be productive today. He checks himself out briefly in the glass. Perfect. And respectful. "Good choice, like I said," he says as if he had said it before, "you shouldn't spend too much time here in case Nomed catches on. Find out if they are in shambles finally. I want to know everything."

He stares at the pale woman partially because she is staring at him like he's mad. Which he considers. "Oh yes, very powerful. You don't have to fight her, she's probably in hiding anyway," he trails off as he returns to his office seat. Time to plan his statement out.

    Raven

Another drink slides into her hand. With a quick gulp it's gone. The bartender starts some small talk with her but she pays little attention. She's busy watching the mafia gents play cards. She pushes herself up and joins them. "Room for me?" They stop shuffling he cards. Raven swallows. They all look at some big bloke sat near the back. He gives them an indifferent look and the shuffling continues.

"Sure Raven, place a bet," one of the younger ones suggests. She grins.

  • Cynthia was pulled from her thoughts when she heard the door open. She nodded in return remember reading something about her being one of her father's favorites. She was his "Secretary" Desdemona Ophelia Molie. "It's a pleasure to meet you. It's horrible what happened to my father, but luckily he put steps in motion for a swift change in power." She said simply and stood up from the desk. She was wearing a complete black Lolita dress with her black hair pulled back into a pony tail. She created quite an eerie presence with her pale skin and one red eye showing. "It would actually be helpful if you arranged a meeting with the mafia. An official statement would also be wonderful. I would do it but I currently have an interview with a Katie something. She is some college genius my dad has been watching for the past few months." She spoke quickly and efficiently as she passed a little thinking.

Out of the blue she took a pistol that was hidden among a ruffle in her dress and fired it directly to her temple. She repeated the action with another pistol she had hidden and started to smile. "Go send the girl in please, oh and we simply must talk later. Get the true details about dear ol'dads death". She started out her window at their city. Never knew when a few duplicates would come in handy and she wanted to remember this feeling for ever.

  • Des's smile widens as she Cynthia speaks. You can never be quite sure, but from the way she is speaking, Des can assume the girl will handle the responsibility of leading a group of villains. Especially since she is so comfortable with a gun, as she just demonstrated. The innocent-looking girl is quite used to the sound of a gunshot, but couldn't help but suspend some of her water in the air, just in case. When the girl is done, she returns the water back to it's place. "Of course. I'll go to the pub and pull some strings." She speaks, then quickly turns and walks out of the room. When she notices the young cybernetic girl, the brunette stashes her water bottle back into her purse. "The boss is ready for you Katie. I hope you aren't scared easy." She teases with a smirk while approaching a coat rack nearby. The girl keeps leather jackets nearby, so she can look somewhat tough when needed. She takes her cardigan off and slips the jacket on before slipping out the door without a second look at the new recruit.

A few minutes later, Des walks into the pub where the mafia tend to hang out with a smirk on her face. Most of the people around here know who she is, so she doesn't bother to speak with anyone before heading to the bar. "Gimme a Shirley Temple and your boss" She tells the bartender while slipping onto the stool. While he's fumbling around with something, she pulls out her water bottle, just in case. Anyone who knows her powers will be less likely to mess with her now.

  • Malakhai walked down the street, frankly having no idea where she was going. She didn't know anything about this place. In fact, she had been expecting a bit more of a welcome. As she walked past, people gave her a wide berth. Probably thought she was a damn alien or something. You'd be surprised how much she got the whole extraterrestrial thing. Slowly her steps halted, turning to face a noisy pub. Well, it sure looked seedy. Much like a bad-guy hang out place. She pulled out her phone, quickly googling a picture of this so-called Raven. Nodding, she tucked a strand of white-blonde hair behind her ear, pushing her way into the pub. She wrinkled her nose at the smell of cigarettes and booze. For once, she actually fit in. There were oddities of people all around, though some of the stares she got were far from innocent. She lifted her head a bit higher, willing herself to not be scared. Besides, they had no idea what she was capable of. Her aura flickered, glowing brighter for a moment before dimming, as she searched the place.

Bingo. She raised an eyebrow as she saw Raven gambling with a few...dangerous looking men. Malakhai would most likely wait until she finished with that to approach her. Meanwhile, she went to sit at the bar, inquiring after a drink. The bartender gave her a look like, You sure you're old enough? Malakhai looked relatively like a young girl, though was still really pretty. That's why most people called her Angel, and that's usually what she went by. She took a sip of her drink, stirring it with a straw and biding her time for now.

  • KAtie wasn't quite sure what to think, this was just supposed to be your average interview, she didn't think that she'd be scared at all by the head of this place, afterall it wasn't very nice if they did. Pulling out he phone she checked the time, just a little bit early she supposed. No harm in it. The sooner she could get this done with the sooner she could go to the interview with the Goddess alliance. She sighed and wheeled herself into the office, looking around the room as her hands gripped the wheels of her chair as she went up closer.
"Hello, I'm Katie, your... Assistant I think it was just told me to come in so... Here I am." Katie looked around the room. She wasn't sure what she was expected, but this wasn't exactly it. Katie held down her skirt by resting her hands in her lap. The woman in front of her made her feel quite... uncomfortable.
