Eric watched Uta being cautious because he didn't want an accident to happen while he was watching Katrina. He could hear his mother's approaching steps so he shifted his gaze over to his mother who beamed at him. She was older looking to be in her thirties or forties she had dirty blonde hair and blue eyes just like Eric. "Oh my precious boy how I missed you so." Eric smiled at his mother as she wrapped her arms around him in a tight hug Eric looked to be a bit uncomfortable because he was bit hugged to death by his mother. Beck shifted her gaze to Katrina scanning her over in the protective motherly way before smiling at her as well. "And who is this lovely woman you have brought with you." Beck released her son to stand in front of Katrina with a friendly look on her feature with a hint of 'you hurt my boy I hurt you'. "This is Katrina mom please be gentle with her." Eric knew his mother could get a bit protective of him since he was her only son and she only wanted him to be happy but he didn't want his mother scaring her off by accident. Beck gasped pretending to be offended at her son's words placing a hand of her heart. "And what is that supposed to mean mister." She kind of glared at Eric who rolled his eyes a smile still one his features.

Katrina was careful of this, she watched the pair together, somewhat wishing her own mom would care so much about her like this but she never bothered. She hid kind of behind Eric and offered a slight smile. "I..Im Katrina.."The gaze made her scared. She felt Uta's hand on her shoulder. He was Erics dad, but him and Beck had split when she was pregnant. They had told Eric that his dad had died in battle, protecting them. Because Uta was a damaged drunk. "Let me get you a drink."He looked at Beck before taking Katrina into the kitchen "Ah shes scary isn't she"He said quietly to her. Katrina nodded and sat down. "Well don't be worried..Your the first human to come here and want to be human. So..shes on a very protective mode right now."He reassured her "Your a very pretty girl for him to pick. Eric had no idea that Uta was his father and the thought never even crossed his mind. "She is a lovely girl." Beck's look softened a bit as she talked about Katrina and Eric nodded his head. "I have never met a girl as lovely as her." Beck chuckled knowing that he was in love with the girl by the way he looked at her and talked about her ,she also knew he needed help if he was going to confess to her. "Alright listen up you we are getting you a date with that girl." Uta hummed "I will keep your secret"He promised. Katrina raised an eyebrow and sipped the tea he offered. Beck watched Eric as his gaze shifted from her over to Cole who had came in ,shirtless mind you, and started tslking to Katrina. Not that Eric wouls mind if he was just normally talking to be but no he was being flirtly and that set off a bunch of warning signals in his head that he didn't like what so ever. "Eric I know that look." Beck got his attention once more and she sighed she knew he was probably very tempted to swoop in there and jump into the conversation. "Don't murder him okay." Eric knew his mother was joking but he was pretty darn close to doing that. He didn't want to seem rude and charge in so he acted like he hadn't seen Cole come in. "Hey Cole long time no see huh?" He smiled at him hdi his jealously well. Beck knew at this point it would be a good idea to get him a date with his girl so he could ask her out before he selects his first victum.

Eric was happy to see Cole again because he was part of the pack but that didn't mean he was pleased to hear him flirting. "Ah yes I see you met Katrina already." He moved to stand next to her trying to be protective of her since she was only his friend right now but he couldn't help it part of his felt it was a mix between a human reaction and wolf instincts. "Also I a sorry to hear you shifted late." Eric shifted at a perfectly normal time due to living with Katrina during the winter time despite the fact how bored he was almost the entire time due to the fact he was alone because she was going to school.

"So you having fun?" He wanted to now she was comfortable with what was going on. Beck on the toehr hand was a bit concerned she knew it was the girl they had attacked all those moons ago. "Uta it is more then a like ,he is in love with her." She whispered back to him chewing on her thumb nail worried about the whole situation. She loved her son and didn't want anything bad to happen to him but shebalso wamted him to be happy and his happiness was with this girl.

Katrina could sense the testosterone from here. She hummed "yeah I'm glad you brought me."she got a text and hummed "I have to be home at ten tonight. So, we've got a few hours. "She knew he couldn't come home tonight with both parents there. Uta sighed "just. There's a reason She isn't a wolf yet!"he hissed "all the dormant DNA will kill her eventually beck."he warned "love or not"

Eric nodded his head glad to hear she was happy he brought her here. "Now I'm sad." He knew both parents were home so he wouldn't be able to hang out with her tonight which made him a bit sad. Beck looked him with a look that said 'really'. "You think I don't know that Jesus I may not be a doctor but I am not an idiot I'm alpha for a reason." She knew of all the ways this could go horribly wrong and that made her quite worried about the situation.

Eric nodded his head even if he didn't like not being able to dpend as much time as he wanted with her he knew there would be moments like these and he couldn't really do anything about it. "Well we can hang out here so more or we can go out some where." He wanted her to be comfortable and not feel like she was forced to do something. Beck was probably being to hostile towards Uta but once she had set her heart on something it was going to get done. "Eric could come here a moment." She wanted to to talk to him about Katrina stuff he deserved to know.

"How about I make us some snacks and we have a picnic out by the woods..just a relaxing evening."She hummed "Actually we will do that..go see your mom."She patted his back before she gathered a blanket and some pillows and went outside to set up. She came back to the kitchen to fill a few bowls with food and got some water before putting it in the middle.

Eric nodded his head once more and went to go see what his mother wanted. Beck kind of smiled at her son hearing the conversation between him and Katrina. "I think you should tell her." Eric was definitely surprised with his mother's choice of words he had a feeling what she was talking about but he was a bit nervous to talk to her about it. "Are you okay with it." He knew that Katrina was human so it wasn't exactly the best choice.

Katrina waited for him eagerly, ignoring any texts or calls she began to nibble on pretzels and drink the cola. Uta was listening to them, he had calmed down and drank a lot more "Eric..we only get once chance of loving our true mates..human or not.."He sighed "Don't mess up like I did.."He didn't look at Beck, it kinda hurt him. This was his sons only chance, not that Eric knew he was standing near his dad. It hurt a lot.

Eric could smell that he had drank more but he choose to ignore that fact. "Thank you." He felt bad for Uta but offered a smile before s0going back into the kitchen with Katrina. "I'm back." Beck felt huilt surge through her system at his words and at the fact their son had no idea he was standing next to his father.

Uta glanced at Beck and sighed "Just like I fucked up with you"He murmured before heading upstairs to see Paul. Katrina smiled "Oh hey! Hope you odn't mind but I tucked into some pretzels already."She chuckled as she relaxed to the summer breeze, it was dark so the stars and moon were shining bright.
