give me a soul mates plot. everyone discovered their soulmates the day they’re meant to meet. whether that be a tattoo or a letter in the mail or something ( totally up to the muns )and finally they meet up. BUT muse a had just turned eighteen like two weeks ago and they find out their soul mate, muse b, is deadass mid 20s. so age gap. and by law, you have to live with your soulmate for exactly three months before rejection - meaning you can reject your soulmate, but that means you will never find another and you wont ever find love. so muse a and muse b move in together and it’s a lot of change adjustments. they argue all the time and fight over dumb shit and they can’t seem to get along. it’s awkward dinners and walking out at dinner and avoiding each other and refusing to sleep in the same bed somuse a sleeps on the couch or in the guest bedroom andmuse b carries them to the bed after they’ve passed out and takes the couch instead. it’s waking up to annoying ass little sticky notes laying around the house because they can’t communicate.

but with soulmates comes bonding and when you bond with your soulmate it basically means becoming one. and gradually their souls begin to become one which leads to PAIN. you can’t go too far without your soul mate or you start to experience intense pain. chest pain, something that feels like a heartache, migraines etc. but FUCK muse a is still in school and muse b has a fucking job and they’re no waymuse a is dropping out and muse b has worked their ass off for their career. so it’s even more arguments settling with forcing muse a to take online classes and sitting inmuse b’soffice because someone’s gotta pay the fucking bills

BUT THEN BITCHES BUT THEN muse a gets so sick and tired of living with them, so overwhelmed and one night they sneak out while muse b is sleeping. despite the amount of pain theyre in - and muse b wakes up gasping in so much pain and realizesmuse a isn’t there and has to go search for them. and then they find each other gasping and muse b is yelling that muse a needs to grow up and muse a is just crying and nodding because they understand and everything hurts and muse a runs into their arms and sobs and muse b is like ……… and they just sit there and hold each other and slowly the pain leaves

and whatever happens next is up to you :)

i'd love to be muse a.

    all i ask is that

-you use realistic faceclaims no overly feminine or emo ones please

    - you have 200+ words per post

    - you try to reply once a day

    - you okay muse b

im not that great at starting so sorry if its kinda bad

    -------------------------------------------------------------------

alex knows he's a terrible person. well not terrible but he's pretty bad. at first he hated the idea of having a soulmate, especially one that was younger than him. god, jasper was only nineteen. he hated that he couldn't go anywhere without the pain now that they'd bonded, he hated that every day jasper was there, in his office, because he couldn't go to school anymore. their living arrangement was less than ideal, and he couldn't seem to stop yelling. and then jasper left. ran away. as much as alex hated to admit it, he was worried sick. who know's what could've happened to him. and then they found each other. it was such a relief to see him again, but then the yelling started. sure, he was angry, but god didn't the kid know that he could've been hurt. he hated seeing jasper cry like he did. he was turning soft. jasper, who he had once despised, was turning him into a giant teddy bear, and god he would never live that down. he was shocked when jasper threw himself into his arms, but not mad. it had been a rough night for both of them. and he'd slowly come to terms with the fact that jasper (hopefully) wasn't going anywhere. "as much as i'm enjoying this right now, we really should get up kid"

it wasn’t fair that jasper had gotten a soulmate so early. most of the other people he knew didn’t have soulmates yet, or they were at least somewhat close in age with their soulmate. and he had gotten screwed over and was now stuck with some soulmate he didn’t want to be with. he was always stuck with alex because of stupid bonding. he hated so much of everything that happened. and then he had decided to run away. for the day at least. running away wasn’t the most ideal plan. it was just his most compulsive idea. and it had worked. he had left the place he and alex lived and got away from everything for once. it had been nice at first and then everything had started to hurt. everything. and then he was where he was now. with alex. jasper still wasn’t sure how he felt about the other, but right now this felt good. he felt safe and a lot better than he had recently. he heard alex’s voice and groaned. no, i’m tired.” he buried his face into the other’s chest for a moment before moving away. he felt exhausted and wanted to sleep for longer. he looked at the other male and sighed softly. “can’t you just do nothing today?”

:: it’s fine hun it was a great starter

:: we have twelve days left of school and i’ve been letting my grade drop bc i have no motivation to do these stupid projects rip

  • ALL THE SHIT YOU SAID —

it took me so long to write this ahhhh

"i could call in sick" he mused, running a hand through his hair. "i haven't missed a day in god knows how long, i could use a little break." the first part was true, he almost never missed a day. he did want to go in and finish up some work, but he didn't have the heart to drag jasper to the office. he could always do his work from home. "if we stay home you at least have to shower and eat. you smell awful kid." that was definitely no lie. but he couldn't say much, because he probably smelled just as bad. and he was starving. he couldn't remember the last thing he'd eaten. it was probably coffee, which doesn't exactly fill a guy up. pizza would be good. no one could say no to pizza. if the kid didn't like pizza alex wasn't sure they'd ever work out. he wouldn't know, because the pair hadn't exactly spent a lot of time trying to get to know each other. they mostly spent their time arguing, or sitting in awkward silence. to be honest, alex didn't really know anything about jasper. other than the fact that he was prone to running away and almost giving his soulmate a heart attack.

i just started writing this character and i feel like he's slowly turning into clint barton (hawkeye)

i like how i had him call jasper kid once and now i can't stop

    nah bby it’s fine 💕💕

"that’s all?" the terms of alex staying home weren’t difficult ones to agree to. if all it took for him to stay and not drag jasper along to his dumb office was a shower and food, then jasper would gladly agree. so the brunette nodded, his dark hair bouncing as he did so. "sounds fine to me." was all he said in response. he just wanted to do nothing today. he supposed that was one of the only benefits of online college. he didn’t have to drag himself out of bed every morning to go to classes he couldn’t care less for. after ten more minutes of nothing jasper finally forced himself to sit up and get out of bed. he swung his legs over the side of the bed and walked into the bathroom. he took a twenty minute shower, which was rare because he hated standing in the shower for too long. when he got out his skin was tinged pink from the warm water. jasper changed into a t-shirt and some joggers, deciding he may as well be comfortable for his day at home. he was tempted to go back to sleep, something he typically did, but decided against it. the boy’s damp hair dripped water into his face which he pushed away carelessly. "did you see my contacts case? i can’t find it." jasper glanced to the general direction of where he assumed alex was since he couldn’t actually see him.

also binch hawkeye is so under appreciated so this is fine.

  • ALL THE SHIT YOU SAID —

dude hawkeye is the best superhero i love him

alex silently mourned the loss of the warmth that jasper had brought to the bed, because damn the boy was really turning him soft. he needed to work on his edgy exterior so people would be scared to walk up to him again. he missed those days. not really, but a man can have dreams, right? he totally missed those days. it seemed like jasper had been gone forever when he heard the younger's voice, from the bathroom. "hmm your contacts? no i don't think so." shedding the thick blanket he'd wrapped himself in, he stood up and wandered towards the bathroom. the mirror was fogged up, and the room itself was still pretty steamy, a sign that the water had been warm. he didn't see anything on the counter, so he went to rummaging through drawers, in hopes of finding the contacts so jasper wouldn't run into a wall. "be careful kid, don't wanna hurt yourself" he said, as he jammed his finger in the drawer, in an attempt to close it. "do you have glasses you could use until we find them?"

the dark haired boy rolled his eyes. like he was going to hurt himself. "i use contacts, i’m not blind." and then glasses were mentions. glasses. the thought of jasper wearing his glasses almost made the brunette laugh. he hated glasses, they always gave him headaches and he thought they looked extremely stupid. he did have some, but there was no way that he was wearing them. especially not in front of alex. "i lost those too," jasper lied to the other. he knew exactly where they were. shoved into some drawer in their bedroom so he wouldn’t have to look at them ever. he hated that he may need them. he decided he wouldn’t go and get them unless alex found him or if he ended up not finding his contacts in the next hour. both of those situations seemed fair to him because he probably would find his contacts and alex probably would not find his glasses. the brunette walked into the kitchen to get some water. as he reached up to one of the cabinets, he realized that he had opened the wrong one. so he opened a different one and got a glass out. he went over towards the sink and squinted at the knobs, turning the one for cold water. he hoped that alex wasn’t still looking for his contacts. or glasses.

  • ALL THE SHIT YOU SAID —

"ok" alex said with a shrug, biting back several rude comments. we're being nice to jasper alex, we're being nice. no yelling he silently chanted to himself, closing the drawer. "i'm taking a shower, i'll be done in like 5 minutes" he called, wandering back into the bedroom to grab some clothes. picking a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt he headed back to the bathroom, shutting the door behind him, but not bothering to lock it. he turned the water to warm, and stepped in. when he was done, he quickly dried off, got dresses, and made his way too the kitchen. "hey kid, i was thinkin about ordering pizza. is cheese ok?" he asked, making himself a nice seat on the counter, legs swinging. he'd never really paid attention before, but jasper looked tall. maybe even taller than him, he'd have to find out later.

the question was a surprising one. mostly because it was morning time and the other was asking him if he wanted to order pizza. ah yes, the best breakfast food was definitely pizza. jasper glanced over at alex, "yeah, that sounds fine." he would eat pizza for breakfast if it meant avoiding a fight. his dark hair fell into his eyes and he sighed, pushing it away. "ill be right back," with that jasper walked into the bedroom and opened one of his drawers. he frantically searched for the white contacts case that he needed to find. he finally did and sighed in relief. he pulled back his eyelids and placed the lenses in each of his eyes. he actually hated using contacts, or at least putting them in. it grossed him out to touch his eyes. but anything was better than glasses. he walked back into the kitchen and glanced over at his supposed soulmate. he reminded himself he couldn’t be thinking the other was a supposed soulmate. mainly because he was his soulmate whether he liked it or not. at least for the remainder of two and a half months. he sighed softly, "why pizza? it’s like nine thirty am."

  • ALL THE SHIT YOU SAID —

"i mean pizza is good for all meals, i basically live off of pizza" he said with a little shrug. the kid is living here idiot you gotta make sure he gets more than pizza he told himself. god why was having a soulmate so hard. all of his friends asher, jeremiah, stevie because he didn't really have anyone else and all of the people he'd met found their soulmate, and had cute little happy endings, while he had...this. a mess of awkward conversations and crying, too much pain and anger on both sides. maybe it was for the best, he never really was that good at relationships, but damn the kid had crashed into his life and made a huge impact. the thought that he might leave in like two months was terrifying, because he'd never find actual love after that. fun. damn the kid really has turned me soft. running a hand through his bedhead, he tried to shake the mostly unhappy thoughts from his mind. "we could get something else if you want? maybe go out?" he offered, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. "i'm not really that great of a cook, so i mostly just get takeout"

jasper had noticed he had probably hit a nerve with his soulmate. he felt kind of bad about it actually. he decided he may as well make it up to the other. "you may not be able to cook, but i can. so just do nothing and i’ll make something to eat and stuff. okay?" he didn’t wait for the other man’s answer. mainly because he didn’t care very much. he was going to make him something to eat because he was not eating pizza for breakfast. it was too early and he would be shocked if any pizza place was actually open this early. he bit down on his lower lip and opened the refrigerator wincing when he noticed that the fridge was rather empty. the boy found himself grabbing a half empty carton of eggs and some other random things from the fridge. he grabbed one of the few pans in the kitchen cabinets and turned one of the stive’s burners on. he couldn’t make everything, but he was able to make common breakfast foods. that had to mean he could make something his soulmate would like. he didn’t glance at alex as he started making something for the other. he finished after about twenty minutes and sighed softly, looking st the other male and handing him the plate of pancakes, not meeting his eyes.

    "Speech."

  • ALL THE SHIT YOU SAID —

alex looked at the plate being offered to him, confused, but he was starving so food. he looked from the plate to jasper, giving the younger a small smile. softie his mind taunted him, but he ignored it, taking a seat at the counter/bar, because the table was just too far. after taking one bite he was obsessed, and god jasper really needed to cook more food. well if he stayed. he was unsure if jasper would even want to stay once their three months was up. he finished his plate very quickly (which was probably not the best decision because knowing him he could've choked). "god jasper you really need to cook more. like tell me what you need and i will get it. takeout has nothing on this."

ahh hi im back now i had to do a thing with small kids for a project and i was drAined i had no energy left yesterday
