    Rp Thread: Superhero/Villain


    "Welcome to London folks," the scrawny driver with bitten nails spits out. People born with extraordinary abilities make up about five percent of the population, some people caught with such abilities are discreetly removed from society. But the lucky ones, like you have been invited to London, to go to one of the two corporations who will give you work. Of course you can deny both and simply work for anyone who will pay you, it's entirely up to you. Supers without bosses tend to work for the mob or do odd work that they find depending on their morals.


    He lets the newcomers out and points at two roads, "to the left is the headquarters for Nomed Society, the more nefarious among you will want to go there." The busy city is full of homeless people and aristocratic shoppers looking for fine jewelry.

    Nomed Society

    He coughs groggily, "and to the right, is the Goodness Alliance headquarters. Any heros and I guess, morally righteous folks among you would like to go there. They need all the help they can get." He laughs and examines the people he brought all the way here.

    Goodness Alliance

    "What?" he notices the faces who have yet to decide a path. "Oh right, yeah. Well I suppose if you have no interest in the politics of the super world. You could always try a different route," he snarls. "Helping ordinary folk is respectable enough, doubt you will paid as frequently or as much. And if the good people don't pay enough, you should visit the local watering hole." He frowns, "that means the pub you planks! Go and speak to Vinny, or Micheal, one of them mob types will find those of you with talent work." He pauses, "hold up! Just, watch out, if you work for the mob the Nomeds will probably leave you be, but the Goodness Alliance may try to arrest you."


    He gets a notification on his phone. "Blimey!" He exclaims. "Alistair Nomed has just been murdered!"

    Plot

    "And you'll never guess this, they are saying The Mighty Raven killed him!"

    He shakes his head, "anyway, I must go now, I have more folks to deliver. Good luck you lot."

    Villain, she doesn't kill anyone though.

    Her twin sister was a villain killed by the Goodness Alliance when they couldn't capture her. Des decided to take up her mantle.

    She can shape and manipulate water in all forms, like snow or ice, as well as changed it from one form to the other.

    Weaknesses: (What makes you human? You can have a few weaknesses too.)

    If there isn't enough of that sort of thing around, she is useless. She can't create water or anything. Also, if there is a bug anywhere in her vicinity, she will be hopeless.

    Kind, intellectual, insecure, affectionate, and pessimistic.

    She has a tattoo on her shoulder blade after her late sister, Phoenix. She is also relatively small, since she is pretty skinny and only 5'1.

    Desdemona tends to exaggerate her negative features to present herself as a worse person when the situation calls for it. She is very manipulative in that way. When it benefits her, she will act like a innocent little child (since she can occasionally pass for 17) or like your nightmare. She is also very intelligent, so it is easy for her to come up with lies without struggling too much, as well as quickly coming up with escape plans. On the other hand, she can trip herself up because she is very insecure and doesn't speak for herself often. When just talking with her friends, she is known to be very pessimistic. She doesn't believe anything is ever going to work and is often the voice of reason for crazy ideas. She is also incredibly kind and affectionate to those she cares about.

    Abilities: "I have a nasty habit of shooting myself in the head, lucky it create a snap shot in time. These snap shots become clones who do my bidding. Since I'm a time spirit or something I manipulate time which essentially gives me super speed."

    Weaknesses: "I'm all powerful nothing can beat me" Pause "Alright fine. My past selves still have a will of their own and sometimes don't follow my plans, also they lack my power only keeping the speed thing. Other downside is bullets. No more bullets no more power"

    Traits: Hard to read, erratic emotions, obsessive and calculating

    Allegiance: Hero

    Reason: Damari's set of abilities would make him the perfect villain, which is why he's always been treated like one growing up. He's here to prove that your set of abilities doesn't make you who you are.

    Abilities: Insect control, slight physical boost and the ability to harden/destroy objects via touch.

    Weaknesses: If there are no insects around, that ability becomes useless. His physical boost is also minor, and he can only really use it to get around quicker than in fights. His object hardening also has a limit to it, if he hardens an object too much it will simply break, meaning there is a limit to what he can do.

    Traits: Damari is a strong, determined guy who always has to have a goal in mind to keep him from going astray. He has a hard skin due to his life before London, however is of recently ready to snap with the amount of trouble he's been getting off his peers. He tends to be pretty laid back around others and will usually just listen in conversations rather than get involved unless he is overly friends with a few of the participants. He tends to be loyal, but everyone has their limits, and this guy is no exception.

    Crush: Open to plotting.

    History: Damari was your average human until he turned 8. That's when his life turned upside down. His life had never been the best, his family had suffered financial problems and were often in debt, meaning that the young boy was never taken out to eat at the local restaurants, and he wasn't always the best looking, but he and his family were close, despite his dad being absent most of the time. This all changed however with his eight birthday. Damari suffered with normal everyday problems like all would, and in his case one of these problems was bullying. Due to his obvious financial problem, he was grouped up on by a bunch of the kids in his grade, who were making fun of him. Due to the fact that this treatment was being given to him on his birthday, and all the times he's been made fun of before building up, he finally snapped and awakened his abilities for the first time. It started with the bugs, flying from all directions as a mixtures of bees, flies and wasps surrounding the kids and assaulting then, whilst ants and spiders covered the ground. In his horror, the young boy had fallen to the ground, but at his touch cracks started appearing in the ground, and the last thing he remembers before waking up in a hospital was falling. Up to this date the incidents piled up until finally Damari was whisked away to a place where he may better fit in, a place he was promised would be full of other supers. A place he could prove himself not to be just some walking disaster- London.

    Allegiance: "I don't really affiliate with anyone particularly.

    Reason: "I need to remain anonymous, nobody can know who I am, what it is I'm doing, or my life would be over. It's not about the person in the costume, or behind the mask. It's about what I do. And nobody's going to tell me what to do."

    Abilities: "I... I am mostly cybernetic and all my abilities come from being such. I lost all but one arm in a terrible accident that took my parents from me and confined to a wheelchair since I was like seven. I've been treated as special ever since and not in a good way. PEople took pity on me and forgot about who I was before the accident. A few years ago with the help of a doctor, a family friend that my parents knew since their own college days I was able to learn how to create my own enhancements, cybernetic limbs, implants and the like that accentuate my natural abilities. Legs that are far beyond what a normal human is capable. I became like a weapon, able to be far beyond what a human was physically capable of and then some. But how could I be like that all the time. I'd go from the poor little girl in the wheel chair to the cyber freak with no more humanity. So by day I'm... Katie Vanbruden, your average every day wheelchair bound college going supergenius. And By night I'm Faceless, unidentifiable vigilante force for good and kicker of asses. Pretty much like batman and ironman combined but... Way less iconic. I can go over all the specifics of what my enhancements can do if you want to, and you have the time."

    Weaknesses: "I'm pretty much like a robot, emps, electricity, water. It all gets me pretty good. And while I am sturdy, I'm still breakable and my bionics can only take so much of a beating before they break. I can catch computer viruses, be hacked, and even run out of power. Overall I've got all the same human weaknesses, and a few machine ones thrown in for good measure.
    Traits: "Well I'm a certifiable genius with an IQ well above yours... No offence. I speak without thinking and can sometimes be a bit of an airhead. I judge myself harshly and find that I'm best when I work alone. I tend to get in my own way a lot and I find that socialization just isn't that great of a strength for me."

    Crush: "Psh... Nah, not yet."

    Other: "By day I'm bound to my wheelchair, I have no legs, and am missing an arm. The arm is just a basic prosthetic and my legs are just little stumps that I am not the most proud of showing off. They cut off at about the upper thigh and have burn scars around that area. My arm cuts off at the shoulder and has similar scars there.I generally wear skirts as pants and shorts are just... not really my thing anymore and I tend to just be pretty normal, just bound to a wheelchair at all times. My hair's a short curly mess and I have pale blue eyes as well as a lot of freckles.
    Faceless is quite a different beast altogether, with long bionic legs, advanced prosthetics and a helmet that hides my face completely. When I'm like this it's just about impossible to distinguish any personal features about me, from sex to accurate height to the color of my skin. Just about everything is covered and just about everything is a machine. Not that you'd know that, though you might be able to guess based off a few things.
    I have my morals and I stick by them."

    • They can switch between genders at will.
    • Hallucinations
    • A power 'shield' that blocks themself or an ally from someone else's power. Or, if it is a physical power (pyrokinesis, time control, etc.) They can prevent a target from using their powers

    Weaknesses: (What makes you human? You can have a few weaknesses too.)

    • They can change genders accidentally, like in their sleep or by sneezing, coughing fit, etc.
    • They are forced to watch the hallucination also, so they are basically blind and deaf during the duration of the hallucination.
    • They can't use any of their other powers while using the shield.

    Traits: (What makes them who they are?) They are a very open person while they're surrounded by hero's, but when by villains, they are cold, deadly, and deceitful. They are a very good lier.
