  • The she-wolf dipped her head in response, now seeming to be much more comfortable that he was speaking more. Her tail thumped on the ground as she sat upon her haunches and gazed at him with her somewhat disorientating gaze. "I suppose I never thought of it that way. It is kind of nice, not having someone telling you what to do all the time." She admitted, a bit lost in thought for a second. "Though I do miss being around other wolves. It gets lonely." She added, giving Malo a soft smile. Her mind then went back to the other wolf. "That other wolf, did you know him?" She tilted her head curiously.

Malo noticed that the she wolf was becoming increasingly more comfortable, which made him feel a bit better. His intentions were never to make anyone feel scared or intimidated by him. Sometimes his presence, his power, and his size did that. There were times where he didn't bother trying to change anyone's minds. He would just let them believe that he was unkind, dangerous, or commanding. But he didn't want to intimidate a wolf that made a good effort to be friendly towards him. He always tried to keep his heart in the right place. It's not every day that he has a conversation with another wolf, and he doesn't always meet others every day either. He'd grown used to traveling alone.

At Kali's question, the brute turned his head in the direction that the other male went. He didn't mean to intimidate him either, but the wolf seemed frightful by nature. "I don't believe so. I've never traveled through here before. But I suppose I could've. When you cross paths with as many wolves as I have in my travels, they all seem to blur together and you don't always remember." Perhaps she had asked because she wanted to follow. She could certainly do so, but he had disappeared. He didn't think he would, because he didn't feel like it was necessary to make the effort.
