  • Plot- With autumn taking the place of summer, all know winter is fast approaching, a time packs are solidified and created. To be alone during winter is in truth a terrible death wish. A wish Aldro finds himself accepting. Thrown out of his previous pack due to alpha rights and over crowding. Aldro wonders the forest and stretched plains in hopes of a miracle, though his expectations are not high and if fate is against him then he will accept what ever fate throws at him.

    -JUMP IN-

Aldro walks in the mid day sun, warm orange light washing over the dull green, belly height, grass. The grey toned wolf's head holds steady forward, lowered to shoulder height, all the while he walks towards a wooded area. Most likely in search of prey or a sleeping spot for the night, both if he can get lucky. Aldro, ever so emotionless, takes zero note of the field or forest he enters, blind to any who my live there.

Aldro glances around for the first time when the smell of rabbit fills his nose. With the promise of food so certain, the male lowers his lithe body to the ground and inches toward the mouth watering smell. As the smell promised, a rabbit with brown fur sits, idly chewing grass. Muscles pulled tight, breath slowing, Aldro waits for only a second, a second he thought he couldn't bare, before rushing the rabbit with all his might. The smell of sweet rabbit blood and copper fill the air. Aldro knew he might have overdone the kill, but who's to blame him, this was his first meal in four days.

Kali licked her lips as she dug into her recently killed prey, eating happily. The slender she-wolf definitely did not waste any time eating every last morsel. She was small, which meant that if another rogue wished to take her kill she would definitely be targeted. She finished quickly, licking her muzzle again to rid the white fur there of that nasty crimson stain. She picked up her head, her two different colored eyes scanning her surroundings. Everything seemed pretty normal. Kali was a relatively cheerful, feisty wolf. A loner's life was not for her, she missed her days with a pack, before it was attacked. She shook those invasive thoughts from her mind, frowning slightly, taking off at a loping pace away from her kill. She sniffed the air, a sudden change in the breeze bringing her three different wolf scents. Her tail began to wag excitedly. Hopefully they were friendly.

  • Chandler kept at a constant pace. The scent of the upcoming winter on the breeze. Wind chilled her silver grey pelt. she blinked her yellow gold eyes as the harshness of the frosty air stung her cold nose. The call of a Raven caught her attention and she slowed down to glare at the bird land not far from where she stood. The bird pecked at a shadow on the ground unaware of the wolf behind him. The smell of blood hit her nose and she knew instantly that it was a young fawn that had fallen victim to the harsh weather. She trotted to the decaying fawn alerting the crow who flew off with a beak full of flesh. The prey was not new however not old enough for have attracted fly's. She ate quickly and hungrily keeping her ears pricked for any sounds.

  • Aldro made short work of the rabbit. He cast his gaze around before standing and shacking the dust from his fur. The wind came suddenly through the trees, bringing with it all kinds of smells. Like a another wolf alongside the smell of deer. Aldro bristled from the cold and looked towards the smell. Curiosity begged him to go see. It was just one wolf, was it? If things went south he could just tuck tail and run. Knowing better Aldro walked towards the smell. Curiosity will kill him one day, but right now he could care a little less.

  • Malo

    ♉ | ♏ | ♐

The orange sun blazed over the lands, the air warm and humid. The trees were tall, and the thick branches protected the forest floor from the heat, causing shadows to drape across the undergrowth. In the shadows, a wold of medium height and strong build was slinking through, his jet black fur allowing him to blend in. Malo wasn't interested in being seen, for he was on his own mission. He had ventured from far lands, and he had joined and left many packs throughout his time. It only took him dive different tries to realize that the structured life of a pack wasn't for him. He was truly a wanderer searching for a home. A home that wouldn't restrict him of his freedom and independence.

Ahead, he could hear the sounds of prey moving about the thick undergrowth. Pausing, Malo scented the air, prepared to follow the sound. There were deer, and they were close. Breaking away from his path of travel, the male stalked through, parting foliage in his path. After a few pawsteps, the sound could be heard again, only closer. Poking his head through the foliage, he was astounded by the sight. It wasn't a herd. It was a single fawn, and it was dead. There was a wolf devouring it, and it seemed alone. He was about to walk away, when the smell of a second wolf hit his nose. I better split before the whole pack shows up.

  • Aldro stopped when he scented another wolf. Fearing an unhappy pack, the grey toned male tucked tail and started to move out. Only this time the wolf he scented stood in his path. Aldro wasn't the biggest male there ever was, his body long and lithe. He could out run anyone. Aldro thought of a game plan, he will sneak to position and dart. That was best he could think of. Aldro was still young and mostly self raised. His mind functioned as a loners and didn't do well with others. Always accepting the lowest position in every pack he took up with for the winter. Aldro almost belly crawled to his position, dirt and fur rubbing together. He could see the other wolf now, and he could see his clear exit out of the forest.

  • Malo

    ♉ | ♏ | ♐

Malo instinctively crouched lower as he noticed the she wolf had detected him. Her mannerisms seemed friendly, and it threw the male off a bit. If it were him in that position, he'd get defensive before he'd be cordial. She could've been targeted by killers, but she wouldn't have even known until it was too late. He could never be too careful in the wild. Dealing with wolves of all kinds and personalities, he's learned one too many lessons about trust. His thoughts turned back to the second wolf he had scented before. It was fresh, and it was overwhelming. Did it detect me? He asked himself. Instead of backing away and leaving the scene, he began to follow the scent of the other wolf. A male.

As he tracked the male, Malo stepped carefully. He was well aware that the she wolf still knew that one or both of them was around. Normally, he would've left. But sometimes his curiosity was incessant. Soon, he reached an abnormal break in the foliage, one that could only be created by a creature the size of a wolf. The black wolf stopped, craning his head forward to scent the area. The smell was the strongest it had been. He's definitely in there.

  • The fear in Aldro grew in size, a knot forming in his throat. The wolf watched on horror as the much larger wolf walked right to him. He hoped the female that had entered the area would distract the male. Her friendly demeanor bleed off her in waves and was easily felt. To bad it made the awkward Aldro want to hide. Every step the male made towards him the more Aldro wanted to close his eyes. As he went to run, all his body did was twitch and jerk. He is such an omega it hurts. Aldro moved and he new he was spotted.

  • Chandler froze. She heard a twig snap like the bone of a rabbit. It was hard to drain out the smell of the fawn but there was no mistake that there was someone else close by. She closed her eyes briefly to get a clear head and let the scents of the forest engulf her. "Three other wolves are close by". she decided. She had her fill of the fawn and there was a load of it still left. she knew she had to leave it and there was no way she could fight for it now. If she got injured she could possibly fall asleep and not get back up. suppressing a sigh she started to head out into the forest. "What is that?" Chandler thought as she saw a flickering movement. The outline of a wolf was not far ahead and she watched as he seemed to jerk. She froze.

  • Malo

    ♉ | ♏ | ♐

The slightest twitch of the body in front of the male confirmed the presence of the foreign wolf in front of him. Before he made any movement Malo began to think on what his next course of action would be. He was not the murderous type. There were only two instances in which he had to kill, but it was for survival. This wolf is in hiding. He's clearly afraid. The brute observed. He could just leave the male alone and walk away. It wasn't to his benefit to speak to the wolf, it wouldn't serve any purpose. However, that was what his mind was telling him. Outwardly, he enjoyed asking questions and delving into conversation, despite knowing it wasn't worth it.

Malo took a few steps back, his eyes fixated on the body still. You know, he already has an awareness of my presence. He must. Walking away at this point would make me look as if I hadn't seen him, and I won't appear oblivious. Thus my pride issues will serve me wrongly again.Clearing his throat, Malo's decided to speak. "I see you in there." He started, his deep tone acting as an intimidation factor. "Feel free to come out and head on your way at any time. I'm not going to hurt you. I'll sit here, and I won't move if that's what you would like." If it would make him more comfortable to leave knowing that Malo would stay put, then he'd do it.

  • Aldro could feel himself die a little as the wolf addressed him. Aldro almost wanted to become with the earth if it meant not facing anyone. But the wolf's tone and body langue allowed him to rise to his paws. His tail tucked tightly between his legs, head held low. This male was clearly bigger and was frightening to Aldro. Aldro looked around and spotted the other wolves. Both female. Knowing how most males are when it came to their females, he assumed they where his, Aldro knew he wouldn't be given a second chance to leave with no harm done. Being sure to not make eye contact or any hasty movement, Aldro walked past the wolf, heading for the vast field.

  • Chandler flattens her ears as she hears the voice of a second wolf. "they seem to be strangers. They must not know each other" she decided. She slowly circled around to see the other wolf faintly through the brush. She didn't really feel threatened by there presence and she was quite curious to find out more about them. "Is there a pack? just passing by loners?" she found herself wondering. She was not sure that they knew she was there but she stayed silent and alert. She then watched as the wolf started to walk away.

  • Malo

    ♉ | ♏ | ♐

The foreign wolf began to stand at his full height once Malo made the invitation. He was a bit smaller than the black brute, and his fur was a couple of different shades of gray with white. He looked quite frightened, as if he didn't know what to do. It almost made Malo feel bad for the male, because he didn't seem like the type that could easily stand up for himself. Just then, the male actually began to walk away. He wasn't expecting that. He thought that the male would conversate, but perhaps he really was more timid than Malo originally thought. But if he didn't want to speak, then he wouldn't waste his time following.

Standing to his full height, the black-pelted male was just going to walk the other way when the scent of more wolves nearby caught his attention. Is this some kind of trick? He was beginning to think it was an ambush attempt. He bristled his fur and tensed up in case someone made an attempt to attack. But the smell had a very feminine quality to it. This has to be a pack.

  • The sound of muted voices drew Kali to the clearing. She slowed her pace, crouching slightly. She was friendly, but ready to run away if needed. Some wolves were quite mean, which Kali couldn't really understand. Peering through the brush, she saw a large male seemingly speaking into the bushes. Her ears twitched and she poked her small head out, her lithe body following it. "Hi!" Kali greeted with some enthusiasm, more than normal. She was just glad to see another face. She tilted her head, watching another, more frightened wolf walk very briskly away from the large black one. She blinked, her tail wagging a few times in a very non-threatening manner. There was another female in the area too, she could smell her, but had yet to see her.

  • Aldro eyed the new female as we walked. She gave off a very friendly presence and held a since of familiarity. She just seemed kind and Aldro could feel it. He nodded at the she wolf acknowledging her hello. He looked back forward and passed by her, he wondered if she would say more, or happen to follow him ot to the tree line. Wishful thinking to be honest. Aldro may be shy and awkward, has no clue how to hold himself among his own kind, but he honestly craved it. Craved the conversation and company.

  • Malo

    ♉ | ♏ | ♐

Malo glanced around the area warily, ready to run or even fight if necessary. However, it did seem quite disorganized for a pack. There didn't seem to be any kind of formation in place, and he would've heard howls or various noises to signify that they were communicating. Just then, a wolf stepped out of the bushes to his left and he nearly flinched in surprise. He knew it wasn't a pack then. No wolf from any pack would give away their position to an unknown wolf unless their intent was to attack. As she uttered her hello, Malo instinctively turned to face her, still tense. She seemed as if she had a friendly disposition, and he couldn't sense any kind of hostility. It was odd. But nevertheless, he didn't want to react in a way that would scare her if she was willing to take the risk of saying hello to a stranger.

"Hi." The black wolf said carefully, cocking his head inquisitively. She was as white as snow, and her eyes were striking because they were two different colors. She was quite a bit smaller than him, even for a female. He didn't quite know what to say next, because he was still unsure. After sitting in silence for a few moments, he decided to ask a few questions. "So, what is your name? Where do you come from?"

  • The awkward silence that ensued after the longer, more skinny male walked off was a bit intimidating. She wanted to run after him as he was a lot less scary than this wolf. Though perhaps he was just more confused than anything. Her ears twitched in a slightly unnerved fashion, though still a bit eager for companionship. "I'm Kali..." She trailed off after his following question, averting her eyes to the ground as she scuffed a paw over the earth. "Nowhere. At least, nowhere that exists anymore." She replied with just a tinge of sadness as her eyes refocused on him, potentially regaining some of her original vigor. "And you?"

Malo knew that the air between them was uncomfortable, and he never used to be the way he was. His experiences and his travels caused him to be a lot less trusting, and a bit less friendly than he used to be with strangers. Feeling awkward, the male shuffled his paws, tucking them closer to his chest. He sucked the friendly demeanor out of that wolf, and he hadn't meant to, he just knew that being intimidating was the only way to prevent trouble or being misled. It was also the first time he had crossed paths with a wolf willing to be kind, or at least cordial.

"My name is Malo." He said, trying to sound more comfortable and less like he was forcing the words. "It's nice to meet you." Pausing, he wondered what pack she had originated from. He made the assumption based on her response. Not all packs could survive hardships, or wars. "I come a place very far from here. But I don't quite call it home anymore. I'm a wanderer. I travel, and I have new experiences and new hardships every day. It keeps things interesting." At the point he was at, he felt that independence was key. To be able to freely roam and not be tied anywhere.
