    — backstory

    After her mother was killed while they were on a walk, Hailkit ran as far away as she could and hid. She didn't venture out of her hiding spot until hunger forced her to move. She happened upon several houses, and was spotted by the twolegs who lived there. Although she refused to let them get close, they left food out for her, and so she was able to stay alive despite being unable to hunt. Loneliness eventually caused her to try to find her way back to SkyClan, the clan of her birth. Having a few vague good memories of some of her siblings, she hoped to find that they would still be there to welcome her.
