  • Day dropped her dagger and tried to turn away as Leon's flames hit her, crying out in pain and dropping to the floor as the blue fire hit her back. She had just managed to roll enough to get it out before pulled her up and got her to the car. She quickly got in and tore out of the driveway, starting off maybe a bit too fast onto the road. For the first few minutes in the car, she simply shook and stared in shock through the windshield to get home, though by the time she got to the mansion and parked, tears were streaning down her face and she was gritting her teeth to keep herself quiet. The back of her shirt was burned almost completely, and practically sticking to the red, badly burned skin.

She hesitated as she parked the car, not saying a word before unlocking the doors for everyone else and opening her own. She bucked when she tried to stand, however, giving a cry of pain as she fell to her knees, having forgotten about the burns on her shins and calves as well. Probably not the best day to have worn shorts... She did her best to keep her pain quiet, but she didn't move, just shaking on the grass and occasionally giving a pained whimper.

  • Sayomi spent the car ride drifting in and out of consciousness. Yui was crying. The vihicle was moving so fast. It was no time at all before the car completely stopped.

When they pulled in Abby peered out and came down to the front door.

“Day? What happened you arnt supposed to be home yet?”

When Day toppled over into the grass she could see her injuries.

“Shi- day!” She ran to her side.

“Day! Stay with me! Your gonna be okay, can you walk? Trinity!”

Sayomi stumbles out of the car also with Yui clinging to the bottom of his shirt muttering incomprehensibly.

Trinity came outside and nearly fainted at the sight of everyone injured. Instead she ran to Sayomi side since Abby was tending to Day.

  • Day was doing her best to stifle her sounds of pain, shaking and trying to stand with Abby's help, though she was only really able to say up without falling over again by keeping her hands on the other, trying to be steady. "A-Angels... Th-They were angels, they tricked me into bringing them there... I'm so sorry! I didn't know! I-I tried to k-keep them back, I never wanted anyone to get hurt..." She sobbed, her eyes and expression showing the obvious shock and trauma of what had happened. She didn't seem fully aware of what was going on, her mind caught up with the events, the pain, and her worry.

  • “It’s fine. It’s okay. Your safe now. Your both safe now.” Abby assured her and helped her into the house. Trinity wasn’t far behind. Yui slowly followed them in, stopping by the door. Elias felt his way to Yuis side and pulled the child close into a hug, mumbling softly about how Brave Yui and been and that everything would be fine. He never seemed to type to comfort a crying child he always left that to the others. But with everyone busy that left only him.

Trinity shoved everything off her tables once they were downstairs. They set Day down on her stomach to avoid hurting her further. Abby tended to Sayomi since she could manage a cut.

Trinity began cutting away the fabric.

She signed something at Abby who threw her arms up in the air.

“We can’t bring her to a human hospital! The angels might come back for her!” Trinity gave a sheepish nod and turned back to treating day, removing as much fabric as she could before she started dabbing at the wound with an ointment mixed with a bit of her healing blood. It wouldn’t heal completely but hopefully enough to stop the burning.

  • Day usually would have tried to comfort Trinity, but at some point from coming inside to being placed on the table, she had stopped talking and had fallen fully into her shock now, her body trembling and her eyes wide. She tensed and whimpered as she felt the touches to her burns, her eyes staring off to the other end of the room, her breath still quick. Her burns on her back were bad, obviously from a rather direct hit of an angel's flame. Though her lowe legs seemed red as well, they weren't nearly as bad as her back. Some of her hair was even singed, leaving only the hair from her shoulders and above to be untouched.

  • (Yeah sorry... when I get stuck on one rp I tend to get stuck on the others cause I can’t get passed the other rp. I have an rp on another site that’s just moving at a snails pace lol.)

Trinity dabbed carefully at Day’s wounds while Sayomi was stitched up by Abby. He got up slowly despite Abby’s protests and moved to days side. He took her hand.

“I’m sorry... I’m so sorry... not again. This can’t hapoen again.”

Abby placed her hands on Sayomis shoulders.

“It won’t happen again. We won’t let it happen again. It’ll be okay Sayomi. She’s gonna be okay...”

Trinity took our a needle, filled with the pinkish red liquid. She decided with Day the way she was drinking it was going to be difficult. She’d prepare an elixir for Sayomi later. Day was much more at risk.

She objected it around the wounds, watching them heal up a bit. Hopefully enough that they wouldn’t cause such severe pain.

  • OOC: It's okay! Just wanted to make sure things were going alright with you!

    IC:

Day's eyes only seemed to focus again once Sayomi took hold of her hand, blinking a few times and looking down to their hands. She didn't register enough through her shock to say anything before the liquid started to hit her back and heal it, her hand squeezing his despite how little strength she had left, weak whimpers coming from her as she closed her eyes.

  • Once days burns had been treated she started making a new vial of her elixir. She used a needle to extract some of the blood before dropping it into some water. She diluted it even further before giving it to Sayomi who sipped it gingerly. Before her eyes she gash in his side stopped bleeding completely and began to close up. It wasn’t completely healed but he was in significantly better condition.

  • Day slowly opened her eyes, panting lightly from all the stress her body was under, looking as though she was going to pass out. "S... S-Sayomi, I'm sorry" She mumbled, barely audible. "Is... Is Yui okay?"

  • Sayomi squeezes her hand with a smile, tearing up a bit.

“Yeah... you saved them. I’m so sorry Day. If I hadn’t brought you into this world...” He found himself thinking that she was better off with her abusive father. That she had more of a chance to survive. He helped her sit up and sat next to her on the table, pulling her close.

“I’m so sorry... I’ve put you in danger...”

Abby sat down with her head in her hands. “Now you understand Sayomi? You never should have brought her here...”

  • Day winced in pain as she sat up, ending up leaving most of her weight leaning on Sayomi, her head on his shoulder. "N-No, I-I'm okay... I'm okay, I'm..." She seemed to mutter this a few times, her voice getting quieter and quieter until she finally passed out, leaning fully into him now, too fatigued to stay conscious ant longer.

  • Sayomi has been locked his room all day. Abby and Trinity cane and went, checking on him and checking on Day in her room. Yui hadn’t left Elias’ side all night. And Elias found it hard to sleep.

Now Yui had run off somewhere while he had nodded off for a few minutes, still sitting in the foyer. The blind man couldn’t exactly go looking for him.

  • Day hadn't been spending too much time outside of her room either, having slept a lot through the fast healing process as it drained her. She had woken up recently, however, and decided to get up from bed, leaving her room and slowly making her way down the stairs. Her hair was only to her shoulders now, having asked Abby to cut off what had been burned.

She hesitated as she entered the foyer, seeing Elias. "... Good morning. Are you alright?... Where's Yui?" She asked, now looking around for the child.

  • Elias slowly turned in her direction.

“... it’s... terribly painful, isn’t it?” He asked with a soft sigh. He ran a hand along his own burn scars.

“Yui ran off somewhere. I was asleep... but I heard the backdoor. I dunno who went out there though...”

Abigail was up in Sayomis room at the moment so it wasn’t her.

  • Day bit her lip and gave a soft 'yes' at Elias' first question before looking off toward the back door, worried. "... I-I'm going to try and go look for him outside... could you tell Abby when you hear her come around?" She asked, starting toward the back door

  • Outside there was a soft glow, red and warm. Fire.

Yui was outside, sitting in the dirt, trying to control their flames with tears in their eyes. When they saw day in the window they swiftly put the fire out the way Sayomi had, smothering it in the dirt, before they turned and fled into the forest. Yui has been of and off crying for hours since Day had been hurt. Their eyes were red and puffy and their forehead hurt immensely. It was only natural the child blamed themself for what happened.

  • Day gasped as she saw Yui run off, quickly heading outside to try and go after them, but she really couldn't go that fast, not with the pain it would bring to her burns. "Yui!!! Yui, no, wait! Come back, please!" she called out, wincing at the pain in her back as she moved. The elixir had done a lot to help heal her, but it certainly didn't take care of everything.
