Day giggled and took Yui's hand, gently telling the other not to yell and to be careful not to run into anything before starting to guide them down the aisle, looking around for a glimpse of the two that had visited her. "Hello? Anybody home?" She asked, making sure not to raise her voice too much. She may not have been religious, but she at least wanted to give her respect to the building.

Yui smiled as she took their hand and led them down the aisle.
“It’s so pretty.” Yui said with a smile, looking up at the glittering windows.
Sayomi stuck close, despite the serene church
“You came!”
Sayomi whirled around to face the smile child, standing by the front door where they came in.
“Come here Yui, let’s play!” Leon said with a smile. Yui smiled back and moved towards him but Sayomi grabbed their arm and pulled them close.
“Your disguise doesn’t fool me you little shit...” He hissed at the child, getting a surprised look back.
“I don’t know what you mean, sir.”
Sayomi didn’t look so good, he was pale and his grip around Yui was tight, as if afraid to let go.
“Day, we need to leave. Now.”
But the boy which seemed to have terrified Sayomi was between them and the exit. He glanced at the window as if considering flying through it.
-
Day gasped at Sayomi's curse and his sudden behavior, looking to him with a bewildered expression, having let go of Yui's hand by now. "What!? Sayomi, what's wrong with you!?" She squeaked, concern starting to show on her as well. "Leon's just a child!" Day then looked over her shoulder to Leon, worried for the boy.
-
“S-Sayomi that hurts...” Yui whimpered. He slowly released them. “Sorry... stay close to me...”
He gently nudged a confused Yui behind him.
“Day, that things not what you think he is.”
Leon smiled then, chuckling softly.
“I guess it wouldn’t be that easy to fool the king of monsters.” That almost blank look had come back into Leon’s eyes.
“Day... this is an ‘angel’. A purewing.”
Yui paled at the mention of an angel. “What?!”
“Is that what you call us? Angels?” Leon laughed, his disguise melting away. His blond hair getting lighter until it was stark white and the blue shifting red. His face seemed to shimmer for a moment until it shifted into a very familiar one. An exact copy of Yui’s.

OOC: Sorry about the absence, I've been going through a lot lately and it's sucked up most if not all of my muse for the site currently
IC: Day's eyes widened as Leon revealed his true self and she realized what she had done in bringing them here. She frowned, turning to look back at Sayomi, mouthing the words 'take Yui and go' to him before turning to Leon and beginning to approach him, her expression like that of a scolding mother as she attempted to distract him and buy them time so Sayomi could fly himself and Yui away. She didn't believe that this 'boy' would end up hurting her. "So, what, you're looking to lock us into a play date? Don't tell me you're going to start throwing a tantrum when I tell you we're canceling."
-
He reached out to grab her but she moved out of his reach and he couldn’t leave Yui alone.
“Day!” Yui cries out.
Leon watched her approach, calmly.
“Don’t think we’ll be letting you leave here.”
“We?” Sayomi paled and whirled around at the sound of the wood creaking behind him.
Etsuko, with his hair bright white and eyes sharp red, pure white wings spread upon his back. He landed gracefully behind them. They were surrounded.
“Ah... my baby brother!” Sayomi said with a nervous laugh. “Should have guessed you’d find me eventually... you always do...”
Etsuko looked him up and down, almost in disgust. “I am no longer your ‘brother’. Don’t call me such a thing.”
-
Day whipped around as she heard Etsuko's wings when he landed, her eyes wide. They were both here?... How was this going to work out? It was obvious that these two were planning on keeping them here, and from what she'd heard in passing among everyone, she could only assume that they were either going to kill them or try and use them for information. Day bit her lip and stepped back to Sayomi and Yui, grabbing the latter's hand and trying to keep them close to her, whispering to the two of them. "...I'm sorry... This is all my fault, if I had known, I wouldn't have..." She trailed off, looking between the two 'angels' that were cornering them. Did they think that she had wings as well? Was that something they could sense?... Even if they knew she didn't, would they even consider sparing her with her knowledge of them?
-
Sayomi grasped her hand tightly as she returned back to them.
“Don’t worry about that. You couldn’t have known...” He assures her.
“We’ve come for the boy. And for you, Sayomi.” Leon announced.
Yui huffed, forgetting their fear a moment as they were called a boy.
“Your a boy! Your feathers look like the stuff they fill pillows with!” He shouted back.
“What?!” Apparently being called a pillow stuffer was enough to set Leon off.
“Well! You look like a duck that got caught in an oil spill!”
“You look like you fell into a vat of bleach!”
“You look like a vampire! And not the cool kind, the sparkly ones!”
Etsuko let out a loud sigh. “Children please.”
Sayomi turned to day. “If you see an opening get Yui out of here and go get the others.” He told her and then took a step towards Etsuko.
“So then, shall we finally end this sibling rivalry, Etsuko?”
-
Day's eyes widened as Sayomi told her to go take Yui away without him, interrupting Etsuko before he could respond. "What!? Sayomi, there's two of them, I can't leave you here! You'll get hurt!" she exclaimed, although she did take a few steps from him, doing her best to keep Yui close and safe behind her, inching somewhat toward the door.
-
“Don’t worry. I’m a lot tougher than I look.” Sayomi assures her, giving a reassuring smile.
Leon laughed, but it sounded hollow and devoid of joy.
“I didn’t think we’d get you both. I figured we would kill the kid and lure him out with that. What luck! We’ll both get to destroy our ugly other halves!”
He pulled out a pure white feather, it sparked and was set ablaze in a blue fire.
“Leon.” Etsuko interrupted. “Your not allowed to hurt humans.”
“What?!” He glared at the girl getting in his way but smiled again soon after. “Whatever. I just can’t burn her right? This’ll be easy!”
Sayomi pulled out two feathers, one long one short. One became a sword and the other was a dagger. He handed it to Day.
“It’ll only last while it’s close to me. But as long as you can get outside that kid can’t follow or he’ll risk being seen.”
Yui however was almost entranced by the flames. Was he supposed to be that powerful by now?
-
Day hesitantly took the dagger and looked back to Leon, fearful. The way she held herself, it was obvious that she had never fought with a knife before, or fought anyone properly for that matter. She looked over her shoulder at Yui and squeezed their arm to try and make them look up to her. "Stay behind me, don't let him get a good view of you." She whispered to them, looking to Leon again now and slowly trying to step her way around him and to the door, pointing the dagger at Leon all the while while her other arm stayed back to keep a hold on Yui's hand and make sure they wouldn't be pulled from her.
-
Yui snapped out of his trance and ducked behind Day, clinging to her shirt.
Leon scoffed at this. “Pathetic. Your supposed to be a challenge!” He outstretched his hands, coated in flames, letting them stretch across the ground towards her. They stopped at her feet as Leon hesitated, wondering how to get around her. She was more of an obstacle than Yui was supposed to be.
Meanwhile Sayomi was too caught up in his own fight to be able to assist Day. As much as he wanted to save them right now the jagged edge of his blade was caught by the smooth and beautiful rapier that his brother wielded. If Sayomi wasn’t careful he’d be impaled.
“Your distracted.” Etsuko muttered.
“Well your hardly deserve my full attention.” Sayomi teased back.
“It’s always been that way, hasn’t it?” Etsuko pushed forward slightly, forcing Sayomi to take a step back.
-
Day gasped and took a step back, eyeing the flames and trying to figure out what to do. Leon was making it difficult to head toward the door. She thought for a while before looking the boy in the eye through the flames, remembering how the boy had reacted to an insult, and hoping she could take advantage of that. "This is all you have? You're just going to try and dazzle me with flames? You heard your order, you aren't allowed to hurt me, and I won't be moving to let you hurt Yui! Either come closer and face me or let us go, you coward! If you aren't ready to come close and physically move me, then how would you ever manage to take down another child!?" She yelled, having moved both hands back now to protect Yui, though she seemed to be hiding the dagger as well, ready to use it if she had to.
-
Leon growled in frustration.
“Your just a pathetic human! Don’t mock me! I’m far superior to your kind!” He spread his wings, taking off into the air to try and fly around to Yui.
Yui looked at her fearfully, hoping she had had a plan. Meanwhile they reached back to take a few feathers out of their shirt. Though they didn’t know how to fight perhaps he could find some way to help.
-
Day watched Leon fly into the air and try to go behind her and she whipped around, picking up Yui and making a run for it, ducking down so that her back was pointing more upwards, attempting to obscure Yui from the view above. She ran through the fire at the ground and gave a cry of pain as the flames lapped at her legs, booking it as fast as she could for the doors, pushing one open and dropping Yui on their feet outside. "Get in the car, Yui!!!" She yelled, trying to follow after them, praying Sayomi was right in saying that they would be safe outside.
-
Yui clung to her as they were scooped up, wincing as the hot flames licked at their legs but was mostly protected by Day. They let out a small cry as they both tumbled out onto the sidewalk and scrambled to their feet to get into the car. As their hand touched the handle however they felt a tug on their leg bringing them to the ground and turned to see Leon who had put away his wings and ran out after them. He grabbed at Yui like a child, pulling at their clothes and hair and trying to drag them back into the church.
“I won’t let you get away, monster! I have to advance! I can’t end up a failure like Etsuko! I can’t let you grow up and hurt anyone!”
Sayomi didn’t even have time to look behind him and make sure they had gotten away. He heard the yelling from outside but that was all the distraction he could afford as he parried his brothers blows and trying to land a blow himself.
Sayomi heard a scream from outside, Yuis as they were grabbed. He turned for just a second only to have his side split open by the pure white blade.
“You knee this day would come. You were supposed to raise it knowing that some day we would come for it.”
“To think you’d end up just like them. Of course they’d condone child murder.” He pressed a hand into his side. It was painful, but just a graze.
-
Day quickly ran out to Leon despite the pain in her legs, reaching between them to grab Yui herself, doing her best to pull Leon's hands away and shield the former's body with her own, opening the door and trying to push them in, her dagger in one hand pulled back behind her somewhat as if it would shield them. Once Yui was in, she slammed the door shut and yelled for them to lock all the doors before whipping around and attempting to scoop up Leon to bring him back into the church, trying to hide the dagger between them now.
-
Yui was shoved into the car as Leon was dragged off of them. Leon began flailing, kicking and punching, as he tried to get to Yui. As he was brought back into the safety of the church his wings sprouted back out, knocking her away from him. He whipped out his feathers, ready to attack again.
Sayomi seemed like he was losing his battle against Etsuko. Etsuko was a lot bigger than him and Sayomi was looking a little strained with his injury.
“You’ve gotten weaker.”
“Is that so? You are still the same amount of bitter.” He sounded winded. How much longer could he continue this?
-
Day gave a soft grunt as Leon knocked her back, still holding on tightly to the dagger she'd been given. She whimpered as she took sight of Sayomi's own battle and how tired he seemed, deciding then and there for herself that she couldn't leave Sayomi here, not without helping him in some way. Leon was obviously powerful, and letting him stay to fight Sayomi as well... She didn't want to think of what would happen, instead taking the risk and attempting to grab Leon again, trying to throw him into Etsuko to give Sayomi some sort of advantage over them, or at least to have them turn their attention to her.
-
Leon yelled as he was lifted up again and as he was tossed away he let out a blast of fire towards her before crashing into Etsuko. The two of the toppled onto the floor. Etsuko pushed Leon off and gets back up to charge at Sayomi who promptly gives him another kick and knocks him back to the ground.
He hesitates for only a moment before opening his wings to fly back to Days side.
“Go!” He takes her hand and rushes outside, hopping in the back with yui who looks at the blood with wide eyes of fear. He couldn’t drive with this injury.
