Coby sat at the edge of the crack that had separated his family apart. His mother and sister had fallen down the crack and now gone forever. His chin held high in the air and his piercing amber eyes stared at the blue sky. The wind rushing through his fluffy fur as he closed his eyes and lowered his head. This day would never be forgotten in his heart but he tried to push the thought of it away.
I will follow in my father's footsteps and become as great as him. I will not fail for the sake of my family. I am the new king of this territory and I will succeed on making a pack! He stood up and opened his handsome eyes. Now I must get started... He looked around and thought his new territory needed some more paws to stride along it.

Coby smelled the cold winter air and it made his nostril dry. He sneezed to get his nose wet again. After he walked around the territory just laying down markers and searching for food. He lifted his nose to smell for prey but came upon another scent. Dog! He sniffed the ground following the scent until he came upon two dogs.
He cleared his throat, "Hello. Who are you two?"
