Reveth felt her palm on his face, flashing him back to his old memories, his eyes widening as realization dawned onto him. He exhaled sharply, staring at Lillidin, bringing his two hands up to her cheeks, feeling them. "Lillidin it's you! I... missed you, I thought I forgot about you forever..."
-
Lilidin smiled and held his hands slightly as he held her face, fighting back tears,
“I missed you too...”
She whimpered softly to him
-
"I've got to get you out of here... do you know who has the keys?" Reveth questioned, still holding her face and gazing upon her like he had lost her for many years.
-
She shook her head,
“No, the last I saw them the guard took them to the main hall”
She explained softly
-
"I'd risk it to break you free... but do you have any sort of magic perhaps to break the lock?" Reveth said, putting his hands down finally, studying the lockings on the cage, trying to figure out the best way to get it off.
-
She shook her head,
“Sadly I do not, and even if I did I wouldn’t be able to use it, it honestly surprised I was able to get enough of my magic to work on you”
She told softly as she sat down, to weak to stand for long periods of time
-
"That wasn't the magic, it was your touch..." Reveth responded, lowering himself to Lillidin, putting his hands on her cheeks again gently. "I'll be right back... if I don't... I love you."
-
She looked st him with tears welling in her eyes before kissing his hand gently,
“I love you to... please be safe..”
She begged of him as she watched him go
-
Reveth snuck into the great hall, hiding around a corner silently, studying the people inside, looking for the one with the key that would free Lillidin.
-
But none of the guards had them, they were locked away in a separate room guarded by the magic users of their town
-
Reveth frowned, not knowing where to go or what to do so he returned to Lillidin. "I see no guard with any keys... none that'd match this cage, I'm no sure what to do..."
-
She leaned against the bars before letting out a shaky breath,
“Leave me here...”
She whispered softly to him,
“Run and get out of here while you can Reveth”
She told him softly as she shut her eyes
-
"No, I will not leave you, I can't go out there without you... I need you Lilly...." Reveth stood by the bars, frowning slightly at the prospect. "You have to focus... use the magic you do have... I know you have it in you." He felt her cheeks again with the palm of his hand, trying to comfort her.
-
She looked st him weakly before raiseing her hand slightly and resting it on the lock, but instead of glowing gold it turned red
-
Reveth's eyes widened as the lock turned red, watching Lillidin with eyes of encouragement the whole time, she was actually doing it.
-
The lock finally snapped under pressure, the door opening slightly as it did so
-
Reveth pulled the door open wide, grabbing Lillidin suddenly by the waist and hugging her tightly, smiling wide. He wasn't going to lose her now, not to anyone.
-
She weakly hugged him back, staring to cry slightly,
“I missed you so much...”
She whispered softly
-
"I'll never let anyone touch you again, I promise, I'm so sorry..." Reveth pecked her on the lips, looking back. "We've got to sneak out of here and fast before they come to switch guard shifts with me..."
