Lilidin struggled in the guard grip and looked over at Reveth with tears in her eyes,
“Just don’t forget me, okay? We’ll figure this out!”
She told him before the elf was tackled to the ground and held there while she was taking away
Lilidin struggled in the guard grip and looked over at Reveth with tears in her eyes,
“Just don’t forget me, okay? We’ll figure this out!”
She told him before the elf was tackled to the ground and held there while she was taking away
Reveth struggled in the dirt as the guard tackled him shouting after Lillidin "I love you! I won't forget you, I promise!" He watched her get dragged away, tears rushing down his face, this was as emotional as he had ever felt and it was like watching a loved one die. He never knew if he was going to see her again, instead he sealed his eyes, trying to keep the picture of her face in the front of his mind.
Once the two were separated and a few hours had pasted that took Reveth to the cleansing home
Reveth put up as much of a fight as he could the whole time throughout the conflict he was faced with.
They took him to the pool of spirits and carfully places him inside, trapping him there before they took their leave, letting the pool work it’s magic
Reveth was tormented by said spirits, trying to keep Lillidin in the front of his mind so he wouldn't forget her, but he felt his true self getting weaker and weaker, the spirits impossible to resist.
They kept him in there for days before finally checking in on him, questioning him about their culture and what the rules were
Reveth answered all their questions to the fullest, seemingly the brainwashing had worked on him, his mind a clear slate.
They removed him and gave him new clothes and a new place in the village. Welcoming him like nothing had never happened
Reveth was back where he started in his village, his "home". He didn't recall anything about his previous journey, he never left the village in his own mind. Taking the place in which he was given, he easily adjusted into life in the village as he was brainwashed into it.
Meanwhile Lilidin sat in a small cell, barely worthy enough for a cat at that point. She painted slightly as the heat in the room was increasing as the day went on, letting out a angered yell as she hit the door and screamed, but to no justice. Nobody could hear her
Reveth felt like he was on autopilot, the brainwashing was successful, however in the back of his mind he did feel like he was missing something, but he didn't know what that something exactly was. He tried his best to push it away, instead focusing on whatever duty he was assigned to at that moment.
Weeks passed and nothing had changed, Lilidin stay locked up. She was barely fed or watered and they refuse to give her a bigger cell, she felt like she was going to die there...
Reveth was assigned guard duty one day and was actually guarding Lillidin's cell, standing right outside it with a serious look and a spear in his hand.
Lilidin was leaning against the back of the cell, dozing in and out of sleep before she finally spotted the elf,
“Reveth?”
She called softly as she cane to the front
Reveth looked behind him, blinking at the strange human female and immediately questioned her "How do you know my name human???" He scanned over her with a heartless glare.
She stood up and stared him in the eyes,
“Becuase you know me by my name, do not call me human”
She told him sternly as she stepped as close as she could to the bars
Reveth looked Lillidin in the eyes, very confused, he recognized her slightly but did not know exactly why. "Why I know no such thing... who are you?" He questioned her further, still staring, his face less of a glare this time and more so trying to figure out where he has seen her before.
She grabbed the bars and shook them alittle,
“You know who I am! It’s lildin!”
She raised her tone slightly as she stared at the elf intensely
Reveth briefly looked around before turning towards Lillidin, studying her even further. "Lillidin... the name rings some sort of bell, but I don't know any humans? Do you share a name with an elf I know perhaps?" He was close enough to the bars to be touched, observing her carefully.
